(nothing cell phone related) About myself: Ever since i was young i loved anything that had to do with radios, ranging from playing around with walkie talkies/frs two way's to present.

Not a whole lot new with the site, i updated the frequency list and i submitted a skywarn frequency for Faribault.
FRS and GMRS range tesing delayed, i had to fix one of my cobras and decided to modify it. I ended up putting in a new telescoping whip antenna. Reception of weather frequencies has increased about 50% (2 more reception bars of the 4) and i was able to pick up weaker signals that my exact other one without the modification couldn't. I might just post the modifying steps of those instead of making a range comparison.
FM radio to Air Band reciever conversion article delayed. Go out and buy a scanner and scan the airband for now. Its a complicated project and i need a camera for it, i don't have one so its riding on that.
