Chapter 6
Her insides were hurting. Monica nodded her head slightly and couldn't look Tabitha in the face. "How could you do this to me?"
"I'm tired of you blaming me all the time. Isaac doesn't even know your name. Don't you think if you had a chance in hell that he'd know your name by now. It's only been eleven years," Monica snapped.
"You know you're such a rotten bitch," Tabitha said as tears formed in the corners of her eyes.
"Well if I'm going to this concert with you tonight, you really need time to cool down. I'll leave you alone for awhile," Monica said as she slammed the door.
Once she got outside she opened her cell phone and dialed the number to KFC. "Hello, thank you for calling KFC, this is Jeffrey speaking how can I help you?" Jeffrey asked.
"Can I please speak with Isaac?" Monica asked.
"Sure," Jeffrey put the phone down, but Monica could still hear him.
"Mr. Isaac it's your girlfriend," Jeffrey called.
"Thank you," Isaac said a moment later, he picked up the line. "Hi beautiful," Isaac said.
"So I have a question to ask you?"
"Okay," Isaac said.
"Tabitha is going to a Moffatts concert with Taylor and she's dragging me, so you have to come with me?" she said.
"No," Isaac said.
"Oh okay," she said as she hung up up quickly.
Isaac was stunned. He thought she was going to pout and beg, in which he would have said yes. He kind of wished that had begged him.
"Hi," Monica said softly.
"Come on in," Zac said.
"So Tabitha is going with Taylor to a Moffatts concert tonight and I'm getting dragged to it. I asked Isaac and he won't go with me, so will you go with me?" Monica asked.
"No!"
"Please!"
"No," Zac said again.
"Please," Monica whined.
He looked at her and he was ready to give in "Okay," he finally agreed.
"Oh thank you so much," she hugged him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"So I have something for you," Zac said.
"You do?" Monica asked sounding surprised.
"Here," she said handing her a box.
"What's this for?" she asked.
"Well Tabitha has one, and I think you should have one too," Zac said.
Monica opened the box and pushed the tissue paper aside. "This is awesome," she said as she picked up a long, purple dildo.
"You like it? When I saw it, I thought of you," Zac said.
"That's so sweet," Monica said.
Valerie locked her door and grabbed the tape that Taylor had made for her. She placed it into the VCR and pressed play. "Huh," she gasped at first.
There was Taylor in his tightie whities dancing to 'Milkshake'. Then the tape cut to a couple having sex. It went back to Taylor and he was wearing daisy dukes, and he was dancing to 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' while washing Isaac's car. Then, it went back to people having sex. The rest of the tape progressed that way. It switched from strange clips to Taylor and different scenes from porno's. In a strange way it really turned her on.
"Oh this is the dildo Zac bought for your girlfriend," Taylor said.
Isaac glared at Zac. "Tell me that Taylor is kidding," he said angrily.
"Isaac we both know that you and Monica are a joke. Your girlfriend wants me if that's not obvious enough already," Zac said.
Isaac was really angry now. "Well if she liked you that much, wouldn't you be the one that she had sex with?" Isaac asked.
Zac was really hurt. "Come on we're going to be late for the concert," Taylor said as they headed out the door.
"You're going to the concert too," Isaac asked Zac.
He was appalled. "Yeah well Monica asked me to go," Zac said.
"Well if you said yes then you must be gay," Isaac said.
"Monica begged me. How could I break her heart?" Zac asked.
"Well have fun then," Isaac said.
He didn't know if he felt more hurt or angry. He didn't want to admit to himself that Zac might be right.
"Look I really need someone to talk to and no one is home," Isaac said.
He sounded pathetic. "Come in," Valerie said reluctantly.
Isaac followed Valerie up to her room. "This place looks different," he said as he scanned her room.
"Yeah well a lot has changed since you and I used to hang out in here," Valerie said.
"I need advice," Isaac asked.
"What is it?" Valerie asked.
"I think Monica likes someone else, but I'm so in love with her. I want to tell her before someone steals her away," Isaac said.
"Well, I don't know Monica all that well, but I do know that if you tell her you love her, and she likes someone else. It just makes you look like a fool," she said.
Isaac looked at her for a moment he wasn't sure if she'd lie to him. "Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes you can trust me," she said.
"Okay," Isaac said as he headed home.
"You know what. I don't really feel like talking. I'm going to bed," Isaac said.
"Hey wait. What were you doing at Valerie's house?" Taylor demanded.
"I was fucking her Tay. Is that what you want to hear? For God's sake I was talking to her, so get off my back," Isaac said as he headed upstairs.
"Just because your girlfriend wants Zac, don't take it out on me," Taylor called after him.
Isaac was too tired to argue further. He slammed his door and passed out onto the bed.
"What?" Zac and Taylor said at the same time.
"And as his girlfriend you should be the one to see if he's ok. Taylor thank you for inviting me to the concert. I'm leaving. Goodnight," Tabitha said.
"You want to watch a movie?" Zac asked.
"Sure," Monica said.
Taylor took that as his cue to leave and Zac turned on the HBO. Within minutes Zac and Monica we're fast asleep in each other's arms.
