WHAT IS RALLY ON THE FRONTLINE?

Rally on the Frontline is a FREE youth rally for the purpose of showing today's Christian youth that they are not alone. Each individual is a member of the Army of God. Each individual is a part of a greater whole. In 1 Kings 19:1-14, 18, Elijah believed that he was the only one left and was alone in a world of sinners. God revealed to him that he was not alone. He was one of seven thousand! We are not alone either!

Our headliner band this year is AFTER EDMUND.

Having been raised on a hearty intake of indie, classic and experimental rock, along with the fact that members are classically trained and met amidst college music classes, are just a few points of distinction for After Edmund in the modern Christian pop/rock pack. The LaGrange, Georgia-groomed quintet (named after the Edmund character in C.S. Lewis’ bestselling book series The Chronicles of Narnia) has been electrifying that regional scene and beyond since 2001.

Dan Wetzel will be joining us for his second performance at Rally on the Frontline. Dan has been captivating audiences across the globe for more than a decade with his basketball performances and motivational speeches, while also reaching people individually as a personal coach and instructor.

Daron Moore, the Tcha, will also be joing us again. As a teacher, Daron realizes that today's hip hop culture is plagued by negative imagery with perverted sexual references, violent Gangsta role models, and an unrestrained indulgence in drugs, alcohol, and worship of the superstar lifestyle. His goal is to reform the thought process of today's youth through positive lyrics that compel them to listen, think, and change their paradigm. "The Tcha" has ministered in many different locations, including various outreach events, churches, youth detention centers, and his own high school, where he is employed as a physics teacher. Daron loves teaching teenagers because it gives him an opportunity to reach out and give something back to the Portsmouth community.

Our Master of Ceremonies will be Dave Muckel.

This year we will have a worship band, U-Turn, from Amelia give their debut Rally performance this year.
