PWR Rumor Rundown
March 18th, 2012

(Stacy Warren) Welcome to the Rumor Rundown! I’m Stacy Warren, here to bring you all the PWR news and behind the scenes scoop that’s fit to print.

(Stacy Warren) Wow. That’s about all that can be said about the events of this past week's Full Throttle! Let's start with the controversy that seems to constantly surround one Chaos Kid. Earlier in the show, as CK was going to confront Synyster in his office, CK took it upon himself to return the PWR World Heavyweight Championship to his possession! After opening a package that contained the World Heavyweight Championship that was intended to be delivered to Synyster, CK left the office with the title in his possession, stating that it was indeed still his. Upon seeing this footage, Synyster came over the air, letting us all know that he intended to get the belt back, not by the letter of the law, but at the hands of Chaos Kid's challenger at Second City Showdown! Syn announced that the man who would face CK had officially signed his contract, and he would make his presence known after the main event, and make his presence known he did!

(Stacy Warren) After Chaos Kid defeated The Executioner in the main event and before he could scurry away with the stolen World Title, PK Punk, the man that Chaos Kid defeated in the last match before PWR's unexpected hiatus in 2010 made his return to PWR! Punk came to the ring and engaged in a heated verbal exchange with CK before the confrontation turned physical, with CK attempting to knock out Punk with the title belt! Punk ducked and clocked CK with a right hand, eventually pulling the sleeve of his shirt back to show a pair of brass knuckles! Punk grabbed the PWR World Championship and held it high for all to see, staking his claim to the belt. Punk slides right into a rematch of the A New Day PPV event that saw CK defeat Punk in the tournament final to crown a new champion. These two have been taking pot shots at one another on Twitter for awhile now, and now the match is official! Will the new champ be the same as the old champ, or will Punk party in his hometown the brand new PWR World Champion?

(Stacy Warren) The opening segment of the show saw the contract signing of the AOW World Championship match between PWR Creative Head, Jacob “Ace” Davis and AOW World Champion, The Guy. The war of words between the two continued, with each of them stating the reasons they think they should be the ones to carry the banner of AOW, before “Ace” became impatient, signing the document first. The Guy made his final statement, then took the pen and jammed it into the forehead of “Ace”! PWR's Creative Head fell to the mat, and The Guy proceeded to sign the contract with Davis' blood! The Guy then grabbed “Ace” and drove him through the table set up in the ring with a nasty powerbomb, leaving Davis a heap in the middle of the ring! The Guy won the opening battle, but who will win the war? Will The Guy make his first defense of the AOW Title in nearly 18 months a successful one, or will a new era begin at the hands of “Ace” Davis?

(Stacy Warren) Full Throttle also saw three huge Pick Your Poison matches, in which the three stars who will face off in a Three Way Dance for the PWR World Television Championship selected matches for each other, and what a group of matches there were. First up was Big Bad Nardie, taking on Scott Kage's choice for an opponent, and much to everyone's surprise, it was Kage's IWF World Tag Team Champion partner, Chris Craven! Craven and Nardie engaged in a great match, but it took a turn when BB Blayze appeared! Nardie left the ring, losing his focus and he was counted out! This was not the last we'd see of Nardie however! Following that, Ice Queen took on Big Bad Nardie's selection, The Overtaker! For the second match in a row, the TV Title contender suffered defeat! Ice Queen made it 0-2, falling after a brutal Clothesline from Hell! The final match of the three saw Scott Kage take on Ice Queen's choice, BB Blayze! Blayze and Kage were engaged in a hellacious matchup, until Nardie made his presence known. Nardie distracted Blayze without interfering, and Kage connected with a Superkick! Kage was victorious, giving him all the momentum headed into Chicago! Who will be the brand new World Television Champion?

(Stacy Warren) Two more huge announcements that were made during the show let us know that there are two more championship opportunities coming to PWR! Before he was taken out by The Guy, Jacob “Ace” Davis announced that the PWR World Tag Team Titles were coming back! On the first Full Throttle after the pay-per-view, we will have a one night tournament to determine the brand new champions! We already saw three teams seemingly come together in Flash & Adam Radd, Jacky Moonshine & Cletus Gambino, and the unlikeliest of all, Jacques Couteau and Action Jacques! More teams I’m sure will come forward as we lead to Full Throttle. In addition, on Second City Showdown, the PWR Hardcore Championship will be reinstated! A 15 minute, six way Hardcore Throwdown will decide the new Hardcore Champion! The former champ, Taker of Darkness, Weapon X, Double Trouble, Jacky Moonshine and the aforementioned Chris Craven have already been announced! Two slots remains to be announced. Who will be the new Hardcore Champion after 15 minutes of violence?

(Stacy Warren) Speaking of that tag team tournament, word around the water cooler is we're going to see a preview of the tag teams who will be in the tournament, showcased at Second City Showdown! The team of Adam Radd & Flash will take on the team of Jacques Couteau & Action Jacques! Before the all the tag team mayhem unfolds on Full Throttle, check out two of the teams in Chicago!

(Stacy Warren) Also on the pay-per-view, we have just learned of two more matches that will take place! The Executioner will throw out an open challenge! Exie is looking to get back on track after suffering a defeat to Chaos Kid on Full Throttle, and he's looking to take it out on someone. Will anyone accept the challenge? Plus, BB Blayze will take on The Overtaker! What a match that's going to be!

(Stacy Warren) Again I say, why should I beware of The Penalty Kick? Who is "The Kick Taker"? It looks like we're going to find out at Second City Showdown! After what our mystery man did do that bar patron in the video, I'd watch what I'd say to the guy.

(Stacy Warren) Who is behind the three cryptic videos that have aired, and who keeps turning out the damn lights?

Stacy Warren: We're finally here! One week away from Second City Showdown in Chicago! Four absolutely huge title matches will take place. The balance of power will shift here in PWR; who will lead the charge? It's going to be an amazing night, I personally can't wait! We're out of time! Chi-Town, here we come! I’m Stacy Warren, this has been the Rumor Rundown, and we will see you live on pay-per-view! Goodnight!
