(Camera opens up as Brandon $. Yelder is seated across a conference table from Corporate Crusher, Synyster, Duncan McCloud and Terrell Yelder)
(Brandon $. Yelder) I told you I would be here Crusher. Why is Synyster and Terrell with you? I thought it was just going to be me and you.
(Synyster) Brandon, Crusher isn't the only one with a grievance in this issue.
(Brandon $. Yelder) Really? What do you mean? You all had equal opportunity to win your matches and you all could not get the job done.
(Terrell Yelder) We never lost, little brother!
(Duncan McCloud) In each of our matches, our not so equal opponents took advantage of our dirty work and picked up an easy win while we were preoccupied.
(Brandon $. Yelder) So? What do you want me to do?
(Corporate Crusher) I want you to put me back in the tournament.
(Other three) Yeah!
(Brandon $. Yelder) You know what? I'll going to give you guys the power on this one. If you two can come up with a reasonable idea for you four to enter back into the tournament, I will allow it. You have until the end of the night to do so. Until then, good day!
(Brandon gets up and walks out of the door leaving the four superstars in the room. Suddenly, "I've Got To Have It" by Jermaine Dupri plays as footage from the last week of PWR action is shown. Notably, the International Division first round and the triple main event on Full Throttle. Afterward, Chris Cash and Devin St. Jons is shown as the houselights come up)
(Chris Cash) Welcome back everyone!
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome back to your only home of up-to-date PWR news, The Rumor Rundown!
(Chris Cash) That was Devin and I'm Chris and let's get right down to the business at hand. Pro Wrestling Rampage's final show of 2006 is upon us and it is called Evil Endgame!
(Devin St. Jons) So far, what we know is that the PWR World Championship will be on the line when PWR World Champion Mary-Jane Montez takes on the last two champions, Zanyon and Primetime Punisher in one of the most dangerous and unpredictable matches in the wrestling profession, a ladder match!
(Chris Cash) Each of our superstars were featured in a great triple main event at Full Throttle. At this time, we will show you the end of all three of our matches!
[Footage from MJM vs. Pain on Full Throttle rolls]
It's Scott Kage!! Kage has a Singapore cane!! Kage swings and he connects with the back of Paul Pain's head!! Wow that sounded through all the way to the rafters!! What a sick shot! Pain trying to crawl toward the ring, but Kage is right on his trail, and he's wearing him out with that cane!! Welts are already forming on the back of Paul Pain! MJM sees what's going on, and she's keeping the referee's attention! She won't let him look back! Pain to the ring steps and Kage swings the stick again and connects with the back of the head one more time!! Pain's out of it here, I don't think he'll be able to compete here tonight! Kage backs up the aisle, and MJM lets the referee go finally, he calls for the bell and we're underway! MJM quickly over to Paul Pain and she locks in the LAST BREATH! Her version of the rear naked choke! Paul Pain is out here, the referee raises his arm and it drops and the referee calls for the bell! MJM wins this contest in near record time!!
[Footage from PTP vs. Shane Montez from Full Throttle rolls]
PTP steps to the middle of the ring and drops Shane over his knee with a brutal backbreaker! Shane holds his back, and he's in agony! PTP perhaps softening Shane up to lock in the Primetime Crusher later on! PTP pulls Shane to his feet once again and backs him into the ropes. PTP with an Irish whip in, Shane into the ropes and he holds on! PTP charges and Shane ducks and backdrops PTP over the ropes and to the floor! PTP landed hard! That's no small man taking that drop! PTP is 275 pounds folks! Shane to the top rope, he stands waiting for PTP to make it to his feet. He won't do it! He can't do it! PTP makes it to his feet, he turns and Shane leaps off the top rope with an insane Montezsault onto PTP!! The crowd breaks out in their favorite fecal chant, and I agree! That was crazy! Shane and PTP are both down and they may be out! The referee invokes his ten count, will these two be able to answer? 1 ........ 2 ........3 ........ both men still down. 4 ........ 5 ........ 6 ........ and both men starting to rustle. 7 ........ and both men are to their feet. They need to get back to the ring, but they aren't doing that! They're trading right hands! Shane and PTP going back and forth, the referee counts 9 ........ 10! The referee calls for the bell, but both of these guys are oblivious! They're still duking it out! They're going back through the curtain!
[Footage from Zanyon vs. Mavick from Full Throttle rolls]
Mavick moves to the mount position and starts to reign down right hands, Zanyon trying to cover up the best he can, but some of the shots are getting through! Mavick switches to a cross arm breaker! Quick transition from Mavick, and he's within an eyelash of retaining his title! Zanyon trying to hold onto his hand, to keep Mavick from extending the arm, Zanyon kicks his feet over and he grabs hold of the ropes with his feet! Zanyon forces the break, and he was able to keep Mavick from extending the arm, and perhaps breaking Zanyon's arm! That's a dangerous hold, if applied by the right person! Zanyon turns to his stomach and slides under the ropes to the outside, trying to take a breather. Mavick not about to let up, he heads to the outside, and connects with a forearm shot to the back of Zanyon! Mavick staying focused on that back of Zanyon, it's been one of the focal points of his offense the whole match. Mavick grabs Zanyon around the back, looks like he's going to suplex him on the floor! Belly to back suplex, Mavick takes Zanyon into the air and Zanyon rolls through and lands behind Mavick! Zanyon pushes Mavick from behind and sends him right into the ring post! Mavick's head collided with the post! Zanyon takes a moment to get his bearings back, before walking over and pulling Mavick back to his feet, and Mavick's been busted open from the shot he took from the ring post! Mavick is a bloody mess! Mavick is stumbling around and Zanyon rolls him part of the way back under the ropes. Zanyon turns Mavick around where only his head is sticking out from under the ropes. Zanyon connects with an elbow right to the throat of the champion! Zanyon to the apron, he looks out upon the fans, getting the cheers behind him and he drops the leg on Mavick! Mavick rolls back to the floor, and he's really losing a lot of blood here! Zanyon pulls Mavick up and rolls him back under the ropes, really looking to keep the pressure on here. The referee bends to check on Mavick and he pulls him in close, what in the hell? Here comes Shane Montez!! He's not supposed to be here!! He's been banned from the building!! Shane leaps the railing and pulls Zanyon back by the hair; Shane hits the New Sensation on the floor!! Shane quickly slides under the ring and the referee turns around and sees Zanyon is out on the floor! The referee runs to the outside and checks on Zanyon, and he's out cold! The referee calls for the bell and Mavick's going to be awarded this match, by knockout!
(Camera switches back to Cash and St. Jons)
(Chris Cash) As you can see, all three superstars had completely different matches. One lucked out on the hatred of another. One got angry and lost himself the match and one was just plain out knocked out. Surprising enough, the only person in the triple main event to win is Mary-Jane Montez!
(Devin St. Jons) Even though she is the World Champion, seeing Scott Kage come out with that Singapore Cane was just candy to her sight. Right now, allow us to talk to via telephone the man that allowed MJM the easy win, Scott Kage. Scott, are you there?
(Scott Kage) Loud and clear, how are you?
(Chris Cash) It's Chris and I'm fine. How are you on this, the 3rd day before Christmas?
(Scott Kage) I'm cold! It's freakin' freezing outside.
(Devin St. Jons) I understand that 100%! Let's talk wrestling, shall we?
(Scott Kage) That's what you get paid the big bucks to do. Let's chit-chat!
(Chris Cash) Why did you come out and attack Paul Pain in what some might call his biggest match ever?
(Scott Kage) Let's talk about why I attacked him! He jumped me the week before! I had every damn right to attack him. I would have attacked Flash but he was in a-whole-nother part of the state! I whipped his ass with that cane and I loved it!
(Devin St. Jons) I hear that you have a challenge for Paul Pain.
(Scott Kage) Yes I do. Paul, you're last name is Pain. My goal at Evil Endgame is to make your last name memorable to yourself. I want you in a Dueling Canes match. If I beat you, I get to nail you 10 times along the back.
(Chris Cash) What if you lose?
(Scott Kage) Losing is not an option. If I do not beat Pain, then I will take my stripes like the man that I am. I already got the match signed by Synyster. It's in the books. Either you show up or you don't Pain!
(The sound of Kage hanging up is heard)
(Devin St. Jons) You heard that. The second match has been booked. We have a ladder match AND a Dueling Cane match!
(Chris Cash) Sounds evil enough to me!
(Devin St. Jons) I don't even think that our show can be topped off any more.
(Camera cuts to the conference room. Synyster walks out of the door and talks to Brandon)
(Synyster) Alright, we got an idea.
(Brandon $. Yelder) Okay, shoot!
(Synyster) How about you make the next round a set of triple threat matches and you put us in the matches with the people who stole from us!
(Brandon $. Yelder) Um…no! Try again.
(Synyster) Fine. I have to go to the studio. Gotta address Mr. Montez! I have something that he wants.
(Brandon $. Yelder) Sounds good.
(Synyster walks past B$Y and on his way to the studio as the camera switches back to Chris and Devin.)
(Chris Cash) Last week, at Full Throttle, Synyster walked in and saw Shane Montez help Mavick knock out Zanyon. To see what will be done about it, let's bring out PWR's DoA, Synyster!
(Synyster walks into the studio and shakes hands with both Devin and Chris.)
(Chris Cash) Welcome to the Rundown again, Synyster!
(Synyster) Good to be back, thanks. Been a busy couple weeks. Happy holidays to you two.
(Devin St. Jons) How are deliberations going on backstage? Have you and the others come up with an idea on how to get yourselves back in the tournament?
(Synyster) Actually, we haven't. I'm starting to wonder if we even will. I'm starting to become resigned to the fact that I'll have to work my way up to a shot at the ID title, if I decide to stay in the division.
(Chris Cash) What about the others? What if McCloud, Yelder and Crusher come up with a good reason to get you all back in there. I mean, neither of you took the fall and each of you have the right to stay in there.
(Synyster) If they find a way, that's great. You're barking up the wrong tree here guys. It's Brandon's call if he lets us "non-losers" back in. That's the way these 3-way matches work out. I'm ok with things however it shakes out however. That's business.
(Devin St. Jons) How do you feel about Shane Montez's involvement in the Zanyon/Mavick US title match on Full Throttle?
(Synyster) Words can't describe how furious I was. I wanted a fair, straight up match. That's what's good for business, and Shane... I think pissed off would sum it up nicely.
(Chris Cash) So, is Shane going to get off scott free? No punishment?
(Synyster) Hell no. You see, if there's one thing I know about Shane, is the fact that he doesn't like to fight. He likes to wrestle. So, I'm going to make Shane so uncomfortable, he might not be able to stand it. At Evil Endgame, it's going to be Shane Montez versus.... Shane Donovan in a Rated R Title Match. Now, I'm declaring the title on the line, because I have full confidence that Shane Donovan will be victorious, because Shane Montez does not like these types of matches. Donovan is going to tear Montez apart, and I can't wait to see it.
(Devin St. Jons) Are you afraid that this will make Shane Montez walk out of PWR?
(Synyster) No. Shane ain't going anywhere. That's how his mind works. You may get him once, but he's going to be around to make your life hell if he can, and he's already shown that he can get under my skin. He's not going anywhere.
(Chris Cash) What if this backfires and allows Shane to be a double champion like his tag partner, Mavick?
(Synyster) If it does, it's my mistake and I'll be digging myself out of a hole for awhile. By the way, can you turn the grill lights off copper? Damn! But hey, I guess that's why we pay you more than Devin.
(Devin St. Jons) Is there any truth to the fact that Mavick will be defending the US title at Evil Endgame? If so, who is his opponent and why is he chosen?
(Synyster) That already has in fact been announced. Mavick will defend against undefeated PWR rookie, "The Ghost" Bryan Kros.
(Chris Cash) Kros is a good choice. Do you feel that Kros has the best chance to beat Mavick?
(Synyster) I think Kros has a good a chance as anyone. He's a talented young man, he has all the skills, experience may end up being the factor in the end. I think it's going to be a great matchup.
(Devin St. Jons) On a more personal note, what is our boss going to do during Christmas?
(Synyster) Well, I'll be in the PWR offices, working. Trying to put some things together for the new year. Possible PWR tournament, developmental league ideas. No going home for ol' Syn.
(Chris Cash) That is sad. No time for family when you are a business man, huh?
(Synyster) Well, I'm taking the lead on things. As far as I know, Brandon is going home until Thursday. Me, I've got nothing else going on, so I might as well be working.
(Devin St. Jons) What? Brandon didn't invite you over for some Christmas dinner in his Jamaica, Queens home?
(Synyster) I was invited, but I politely declined. I didn't want to slap Terrell around in front of his momma, haha!
(Chris Cash) Always the joker. Synyster, it was good having you around tonight.
(Synyster) Thanks guys. Hope you enjoy your Christmas break guys. See you in Seattle on Saturday night.
(Synyster leaves the studio)
(Chris Cash) Always a pleasure to have our boss with us on stage.
(Devin St. Jons) Yes it is. Right now, I think we have another suggestion from the angry mob. When we come back, Chris and I will break down the full Evil Endgame card!
(Camera cuts back to the conference room. Duncan McCloud walks out and moves towards Brandon)
(Brandon $. Yelder) Number 2?
(Duncan McCloud) How about…you do one-on-one matches between us and the people who didn't pin us.
(Brandon $. Yelder) I'm listening.
(Duncan McCloud) And the winner goes on into the tournament!
(Brandon $. Yelder) Strike two…try again! Thanks for playing though!
(McCloud storms back into the war room as the camera switches back to Chris and Devin)
(Devin St. Jons) We are back.
(Chris Cash) Allow us to rundown the full card for our final show of the year, Evil Endgame!
(Devin St. Jons) You can see the card so far here. Let's start from the top!
(Graphic of Matt Flash and Enrique DeJesus is shown)
(Chris Cash) The second round of the International Division starts off with a bang as these two studs face off.
(Devin St. Jons) This is the epitome of age versus youth. The wily veteran Enrique DeJesus looks to have 2:1 odds on this match against Matt Flash.
(Chris Cash) Who knows? Matt Flash did take out Amy Suicide and The Executioner in the first round. Both of them are no stranger to the squared circle and both have been called "champion" in the past.
(Devin St. Jons) My money is still on EDJ, but if anyone can beat him, it's Matt Flash!
(A graphic of Marcus K. Yelder and Ryan Pierce is shown)
(Devin St. Jons) Next up is probably one of the more underrated matches on the card as "The Trigger" Ryan Pierce looks to take out another PWR household name in Marcus K. Yelder.
(Chris Cash) Last week, Ryan and Marcus were both fortunate to advance into the second round. This time, there will be only two men and one winner. Who you got your money on?
(Devin St. Jons) Well, Marcus looked good in the ring after is tryptophan overdose…
(Chris Cash) Are you seriously stuck on that? It's a sham. He just wants an excuse to wear that big, bulky knee brace so that his new finisher, oddly named, Kryptophan has it's "full effect." In a clean match, I see Ryan Pierce moving on to the next round.
(Devin St. Jons) If MKY can maintain his pace, Ryan Pierce could find himself with a first class ticket out of the tournament.
(Two Singapore canes cross each other, then a graphic of Paul Pain and Scott Kage is shown)
(Chris Cash) I don't expect any side headlocks or any abdominal stretches in this one.
(Devin St. Jons) It is going to be a Home Run Derby in Seattle because both people's teeth will be flying out of the KeyArena like baseballs in Safeco Park!
(Chris Cash) In a pinch, I will take Paul Pain. That's only because the man is huge!
(Devin St. Jons) I don't know. Kage may have the bat speed on Pain. I say the winner of this match will be the fan who collects enough teeth to make a set of dentures.
(A graphic of the Rated R Championship is plastered on the screen, followed by a graphic of Shane Montez, Shane Donovan, and Jasmine Skyy)
(Chris Cash) In a match made today right here on The Rundown, it will be Shane Montez facing Shane Donovan in a Rated R Championship match!
(Devin St. Jons) I hope that Synyster knows what he is doing. I'm pretty sure that Shane Donovan will take Mr. Montez to a whole new extreme but Montez always seems to find a way to win.
(Chris Cash) I can tell you right now that Shane is not going to like going into this Rated R Championship match…but knowing him, he will turn a negative into a positive.
(A graphic of the PWR United States Championship is shown before Mavick and Bryan Kros w/ Lacey O'Neal is shown)
(Devin St. Jons) One of the fastest rising stars in PWR is being rewarded for not losing yet! Bryan Kros with his female companion, Lacey will take on the undefeated PWR United States Champion, Mavick! This match is going to be classic.
(Chris Cash) Some people still question Mavick's health since his ankle injury some months ago. Rumor has it that this will be the first time in a long time that Mavick will be 100% going into a match. This could be the end of Kros' undefeated streak.
(Devin St. Jons) Kros definitely deserves this title match and I can't think of a better time to give 2006's break out star a title shot then at the final show of 2006!
(A graphic of the Bad News Bully and Flash appears)
(Chris Cash) Now the big matches in the International Division take place, starting with Bad News Bully versus Flash!
(Devin St. Jons) Both men won their first round matches in a good fashion but this time, it will be mano-y-mano!
(Chris Cash) The Bully is still shaking his ring rust off and Flash is soaring to new heights in this International Division. Many people say that the winner of this match could very well be the winner of the tournament!
(A graphic of Corky Angle and Nick Davis is shown)
(Chris Cash) Some people thought that Corky had it bad in the first round when he faced Terrell Yelder. This week, his odds do not improve as he faces…well…"The Face" Nick Davis!
(Devin St. Jons) Two of the most revered athletes to ever dawn a pair of tights and lace up a pair of boots will square off in a dream match of sorts!
(Chris Cash) I believe that this is the first time ANYWHERE that Corky Angle and Nick Davis will square off one-on-one!
(Devin St. Jons) If any match can steal a show, Corky and Nick can sure do it!
(A graphic of a ladder is shown. The shot of the ladder moves up until the PWR World Championship is shown with MJM, PTP and Zanyon all surrounding it)
(Chris Cash) And in a deserving fashion, the triple threat match of 2006 occurs as three of the game's biggest and brightest stars face off as Philadephia's Primetime Punisher, Chicago's Zanyon and Beersville's Mary-Jane Montez all face off for PWR's most coveted prize!
(Devin St. Jons) There is no argument here. Each of these PWR Superstars have tasted the honey that flows from this championship. One person is eating now and the other two are as hungry as ever.
(Chris Cash) To say that this match should not headline a PPV is a miscarriage of justice. Some people may have their opinions about some of the superstars in this match but in this commentator's eyes, I feel that our PPV should be topped off with such a match!
(Devin St. Jons) You are so correct! This match is worth all the hype. 3 of PWR's World Champions in one ring at one time for 15 pounds of gold! What more could a wrestling fan want for Christmas?
