PWR Rumor Rundown
October 16th, 2012

(Stacy Warren) Welcome to the Rumor Rundown! I’m Stacy Warren, here to bring you all the PWR news and behind the scenes scoop that’s fit to print.

(Stacy Warren) Wow. Just wow. That's all one can really say after the closing moments of this past Full Throttle. What started out as a night of jubilation, celebration and remembrance ended in one of the most vile and sickening attacks we've seen in a long time. Big Bad Nardie, or should I say, Bully Nardie pulled the wool over everyone's eyes and made his impact on PWR in a big way. Nardie and his accomplices, Jon Eclipse and a hulking man in black left Raven Jones, the PWR World Champion, The Overtaker and the Owner of PWR himself, Synyster laid out to close the show. Here's what we know as of right now regarding the condition of all those attacked. The PWR Medical Team released a statement earlier today on PWR's message boards indicating that the World Champion is bruised up, and very sore, but he will be in attendance at the upcoming Full Throttle event. He has been cleared to compete, but he does so at his own risk. I have heard through the vine that he does intend to compete however, being the fighting Champion that he is.

(Stacy Warren) As far as our esteemed Owner, Synyster was diagnosed with a concussion following the Death Blow perpetrated by Nardie. Syn was shaken up perhaps mentally more than physically, and from everything I’ve heard, Syn is seething after what happened. It's likely that Syn will have some very harsh things to say in regards to Nardie, Eclipse and crew on the upcoming Full Throttle. The most serious injury sadly belongs to Raven Jones. After an MRI, Raven Jones was diagnosed with two herniated discs as well as a stress fracture of the C6 vertebrae. Syn has remained at her bedside as she recovers from this cowardly act. Raven will be out indefinitely as a results of the injuries sustained. We wish her the best in her recovery.

(Stacy Warren) Moving on to the action now, the highly anticipated rematch for the AOW World Championship took place on the last Full Throttle, and it saw the “21st Century Superstar”, Brandon $. Yelder retain his Championship over the former two time Champion, Jacob “Ace” Davis. It was a nice early birthday present for the Champ, who celebrates a birthday today! Happy birthday Brandon! Someone who's definitely not happy though is Ace Davis. Ace has lost three matches in a row now, if you go back to the loss against Vaude a couple months ago on Full Throttle. What's up with Ace? When asked for a quote, Ace referred to this stretch as a “rough patch”. What's next for both these men? Will a new challenger come to the forefront for the AOW Title, and what does Ace's future hold?

(Stacy Warren) Another interesting development coming out of Full Throttle was the apparent resignation turned in by Chaos Kid after a controversial loss to Adam Radd, in which the referee didn’t see CK's foot on the rope and counted three. Expressing disappointment over his bad luck of late, Chaos Kid decided to walk out of PWR, effective immediately. Calls placed to Chaos Kid by PWR management have been ignored, and it's a curious decision to me anyway. Chaos Kid is one of the top names in this business today. Everyone has their moments though, so maybe some time away and some soul searching will help clear the head of the former two time PWR Champion.

(Stacy Warren) Someone who's looking to insert himself into the big picture of things is Shane Donovan, who after conferring with his crew, decided to take an idea to Synyster. This idea detailed his plan to work his way up to a Championship shot. This involved him going heads up against the man he considers to be the number one contender in Jacques Couteau, and if he was victorious, he would get a crack at the Champion. Well, after some thought, Syn has decided to give Shane what he wants, in the former of Jacques Couteau on this week's Full Throttle. These two did battle in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match at Summer Sanitarium, and both definitely have World Title aspirations! Who will come out on top in this matchup? Will Couteau's momentum continue, or will Donovan get one step closer to his goal?

(Stacy Warren) In other title contendership news, the match that Donovan pulled out of, the match to determine the new number one contender to Adam Radd's World Television Championship ended in a unconventional fashion. Taker of Darkness, who was Donovan's replacement was pinned by both Jacky Moonshine and BB Blayze, leading to the match ending in a draw. This week on Full Throttle however, Blayze and Moonshine will go one on one, and the winner will challenge Radd for that title very soon. Who will get the chance to break Adam Radd's stranglehold on the Television Championship?

(Stacy Warren) Lost in all the insanity at the end of the show, was the fact that a new Hardcore Champion was crowned in Washington. Jon Eclipse defeated The Cyclone, ending his three month reign as Champion. However, one would have to think that Eclipse's reign will be a short one, as he might find himself in the unemployment line after Syn speaks on the events of the last Full Throttle. Also lost in the controversy, was how nice it was to see some of the older names in attendance for the “retirement” party, which included “The Total Franchise”, Nick Hrebien. Good to see everyone who came out. The Nardie retirement video was touching as well, before it was ultimately tarnished by show's end.

(Stacy Warren) Over on Overload, which made it's return this week; I had the pleasure to call an epic match between Veesh Man and Double Trouble for the PWR Pure Championship. This matchup was hotly contested and came down to the last second, when Double Trouble couldn’t answer the referee's ten count after a brawl outside of the ring, and was counted out. After the battle these two had, Synyster has decided that they will go at it once more with the gold on the line, but this time it'll be on Full Throttle! Who will leave the 1st Mariner Arena with the Pure Championship?

(Stacy Warren) A couple of quick notes. We saw another cryptic video on Full Throttle, so the question is... Who's behind it? Speaking of cryptic, we saw that bald woman lurking around on Full Throttle once again, and she was confronted by Synyster! After the presumed security breach, Synyster told the still unnamed woman that she needed to sign a PWR contract as either a manager or a wrestler, or she will no longer be permitted inside a PWR occupied building. Will the woman make an appearance in PWR again?

(Stacy Warren) Folks, it's shaping up to be a huge night in Baltimore! The Overtaker returns to action, a new number one contender to the Television Championship is decided, the Pure Championship is up for grabs, Shane Donovan takes on Mr. Money In The Bank, Jacques Couteau and we'll hear from Synyster on the events of the last Full Throttle and what the future holds! Personally, I’m eagerly anticipating those comments. All that and much much more as PWR rolls into the Charm City! That’s it for now though, thank you for joining us here at the PWR news desk for another edition of the Rumor Rundown! For everyone in PWR, I’m Stacy Warren, goodnight! We'll see you in Baltimore!
