(The Guy is shown cutting a promo in front of the crowd.)
I’m hearing voices from shadows inside me

Can’t live my life this way
(A graphic of Chaos Kid & PK Punk are shown with the PWR World Championship in the background.)
(The video ends and the graphic for Second City Showdown comes over the screen, along with the theme for the show "This Time It's Different" by Evans Blue. The graphic fades, and the camera comes up inside the arena for the first time. Near the stage, a display of blue and white pyrotechnics explode, filling the United Center with light! After about 10 seconds, the pyro stops and the light comes up in the arena for the first time! The camera pans around the arena, showing some of the fans and the signage they have brought to support their favorite PWR superstars! As the theme music continues to play, the camera settles on the one and only "Voice of PWR", Chris Cash at ringside!)
(Chris Cash) It's been nearly two years since PWR has been on pay-per-view, and tonight, we come back in grand style! Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to “The Windy City”, Chicago, Illinois and welcome to PWR Second City Showdown! What a night we have in store for you, including FOUR huge title matches! The balance of power here in PWR will be established here tonight, and I for one cannot wait to see how things shake out! Let's not waste another second in getting things started here tonight!
(“From The Inside” by Depswa begins to play over the arena's loudspeakers and out from the back walks the team of Flash & Adam Radd to cheers from the crowd!)
(Chris Cash) Kicking things off tonight will be our tag team showcase! As you'll recall, on next week's Full Throttle, we will have a one night tournament to crown our brand new PWR World Tag Team Champions, and right now we will see two of those teams who are scheduled to compete for those titles in action! Flash and Adam Radd making their way to the ring right now, are quite the dichotomy. The easy going Adam Radd and the more serious, perhaps even stuffy at times Flash are no strangers to the tag team scene, both multiple time Tag Team Champions. These two have the very real potential to be the last team left standing!
(Flash & Radd make their way into the ring, as “You Oughta Be In Pictures” by Rudy Vallee hits over the PA, and out walks Jacques Couteau carrying his tag team partner, Action Jacques!)
(Chris Cash) Off-the-wall is a term you could most likely use to describe the man making his way to the ring right now. Personally, I get a kick out of the guy and I can't wait to see how his action figure likeness, Action Jacques is going to help him here tonight, as well as going forward. Right now, we have some pre-recorded comments from Couteau and AJ. Let's take a look at that video.
(The video takes us backstage, revealing Jacques Couteau sitting in the type of chair customarily seen on film sets, his legs crossed and his hands folded atop them.)
(Jacques Couteau) Good evening. Jacques Couteau here. If you’ve been paying attention, you know who I am and if you’re not an idiot, you realize that I’m great. Now that we’ve covered the basics, the time has come to shed further light upon the rather unusual circumstances in which I have put myself. You see, I have formed a tag team that is unprecedented in the annals of wrestling history. It is comprised of one flesh and blood member…
(Jacques unfolds his hands and gestures along the length of his frame.)
(Jacques Couteau) … and one plastic member.
(Couteau pauses and considers his word choice.)
(Jacques Couteau) No, not the kind you find in your mother’s nightstand. I’m talking about Action Jacques, of course.
(The camera pans left to reveal Action Jacques perched in front of a make-up mirror, miniature powder puff in hand. The view then returns to Jacques, who is shaking his head slightly.)
(Jacques Couteau) He may be a bit of a prima donna, but he is a much more solid competitor than many in the business today. I do mean that literally, as I’ve fought quite a few of them and they have a tendency to be rather squishy. Now, some may think it eccentric, or even downright insane, to have proposed this tandem. I must remind them that many of the great leaps forward in understanding how the universe works were made by people who were considered the same. They may wonder how A.J. is going to handle himself in the ring against more mobile opponents. Please. We have all our bases covered. I would say how, but why tip our hand to the other teams so early? We have a showcase match tonight against Flash and Adam Radd and all will come to light there on our path to victory. I will say, however, that I never dreamed I’d end up becoming the powerhouse of a team, but here we are.
(Jacques looks over to where AJ is still, er… primping.)
(Jacques Couteau) Yeah, you heard me!
(The video ends and the feed returns to ringside as Jacques places Action Jacques in the corner.)
(Chris Cash) This is going to be an interesting match to say the very least. The tag team showcase kicks off Second City Showdown, right now!
Tag Team Showcase Match
Flash & Adam Radd vs Jacques Couteau & Action Jacques
Couteau and Radd starting things off, both former WWS stalwarts, looking to make some headway in PWR waters. Couteau and Radd exchanging in a technical wrestling display, going back and forth, hold for hold. Radd gaining the upper hand, taking Couteau down with a DDT as a counter to a hammerlock. Radd makes the tag to Flash, who comes in hot, putting the boots to Jacques. Flash pulls Couteau to a stand, hooks an arm and takes him over with a brilliant half nelson suplex! Flash with a lateral press for a two count. Flash pulls Jacques to a wobbly stand, but Jacques stops him in his tracks with a rake of the eyes. Couteau heads for his corner, sticking his arm out, looking for the tag to AJ, but it seems Couteau found the flaw in his plan! AJ remained as he always did, inanimate. Flash to his feet, closes in on Jacques, connecting with a forearm to the upper back! Flash hooks Jacques and takes him over with a textbook German suplex, with a bridge! The referee counts, 1....................... 2...................... Jacques kicks out! Couteau narrowly escaping defeat! Flash moves to his corner, making the tag to Radd, who comes in quick. Radd comes toward Couteau, bends down to lift him up, but Jacques counters into a rollup! 1.............................. 2.............................. Radd kicks out! Flash reaches out for the tag, and Radd lunges to make it! Flash into the ring quickly and he pulls Couteau to a stand. Flash Irish whips Couteau into his corner, and he crashes hard! Flash charges in, hitting a splash! Couteau slumps down, as Flash turns to motion that it's time for the end! Couteau crawling out of his corner, and Flash! Flash pulls Couteau up, hooks him up for the Falcon Arrow! Couteau taken up! Couteau floats out, landing behind Flash! Couteau turns and reaches out to slap Adam Radd standing on the apron! Couteau quickly jumps back, motioning for the referee to stop the man! The referee cuts off Adam Radd as Flash spins Couteau around and as he does, Couteau pulls Action Jacques out of his tights and jabs Flash in the eye with the figure's hand! Flash reaches quickly for his eyes, as Jacques secures AJ! Couteau with a schoolboy! 1.......................... 2.................................3! Radd leaps in but is not quick enough to break up the pin!
Winner by pinfall 7:23 - Jacques Couteau & Action Jacques
(Chris Cash) I always knew Jacques was a clever man, and tonight he proves it! With the assist from Action Jacques, Couteau & AJ pick up the victory and move into the tournament with momentum, I guess you could say. We're just getting started folks!
(The camera cuts to a dark room, a silhouette can be seen but nothing else. He picks up a beer bottle.)
(Mystery Man) Well, it's been a while coming but the time has arrived. If you've forgotten who I am, and the promos weren't enough of a hint... then you're about to find out and this time no one will forget who I am.
(The man takes a swig from the beer bottle.)
(Mystery Man) You see, last time I didn't do enough damage. Lessons were not learnt. This time championships will be taken, respect will be taken 'cos I'm back........... and I'm bringing HELL with me.
(The scene fades off the silhouetted man to the parking area under The United Center. A purple limousine pulls up and comes to a stop. A familiar man steps outside the driver door, walks to the back and opens the door. A female leg in a purple stiletto heel plants on the ground, followed by another and rising out of the seat is Raven Jones! Raven is wearing glasses and holding a briefcase.)
(Raven Jones) Ah, I love Chicago. Thanks 13. Wait here, I have business to take care of.
(Sexy 13) No problem ma'am.
(Raven heads inside toward the backstage area as the camera transitions back to the interview area where we see Dan Dexter standing by with BB Blayze! The crowd cheers loudly as Blayze cracks a smile.)
(Dan Dexter) Blayze, tonight you compete one on one against The Overtaker for what I think is the first time. Your thoughts on the match?
(BB Blayze) I think you are right that this is the first singles match between me and Overtaker. Tonight is a match to determine who could possibly be the first in line against the PWR Heavyweight Champion. Overtaker is tough, but I plan on leaving Second City Showdown victorious.
(Dan Dexter) Also, on the next Full Throttle, there is going to be a one night tournament to crown new Tag Team Champions.
(BB Blayze) I know right? It’s awesome. Coming from a multiple time tag champ like myself, it’s going to be a hell of a fight for those tag titles.
(Dan Dexter) One more question, what are your thoughts about what Big Bad Nardie said about you? About being the King of the Midcards?
(BB Blayze) Nardie still has not gotten his head out of his ass has he?? I don’t know what dumpster Nardie has been hiding in this last year, but where has he been when I’ve been competing, kicking butt, and taking names?? He suddenly reappears, gets lucky in defeating me, and thinks he’s king of the world. It’s jealousy, Dan, plain and simple. Nardie just can’t admit that maybe I am better than him. Since he can’t be at my level, what does he do… assaults Raven Jones. If that makes him a bigger man, more power to him; it isn’t over between me and Nardie. Oh, and Nardie, if you’re watching, keep a close eye on everything during your match because we don’t want you to lose your title match. Or do we? Break a leg Nardie…literally.
(Blayze exits the frame.)
(Dan Dexter) Later tonight is one of the high profile matches between BB Blayze and Overtaker. Back to you at ringside Chris.
(Camera cuts back to ringside and Chris Cash.)
(Chris Cash) Thanks Dan! Welcome back to ringside! We are getting ready for our first title match as coming up next, it’s the 15 Minute Hardcore Throwdown to determine the NEW PWR Hardcore Champion! Let’s go to Derek Daniels in the ring for an explanation of the rules as some of our backstage staff and officials stock the outside of the ring with various weapons.
(Derek Daniels) Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a 6-Man Fifteen Minute Hardcore Throwdown for the PWR Hardcore Championship! Here are the rules. Once all six men have entered the ring, a fifteen minute time limit will begin. A pinfall or submission does not stop the match. The first person to score a pinfall or submission will become the target. If someone else pins that person, they then become the target. Whoever scores the last pinfall within the fifteen minute time limit will become the PWR Hardcore Champion! There are no count outs or disqualifications in this match and pinfalls will count anywhere!
(Chris Cash) Well, after hearing the rules this does sound like it could get crazy! Six men, unlimited pinfalls and everything is legal!
(“I’m Shipping up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphys hits and out towards the ring comes the newcomer, the undefeated Jacky Moonshine to a small pop from the crowd.)
(Chris Cash) Two matches, two wins for this relative newcomer and that has earned him his spot in this match tonight for the Hardcore title. We’ll see how he fares facing more than one opponent in this environment.
(Moonshine climbs the steps to the ring as his music cuts off and is replaced with “Fear” by Disturbed as Weapon X comes out from the back to a mixed reaction, but mainly boos from the crowd.)
(Chris Cash) Weapon X hasn’t really gotten off to the start he wanted thus far in the PWR revival. He fought hard in a losing effort to Flash in the first round of the Television Title tournament, and then lost to one of his opponents tonight in Taker of Darkness on this past Full Throttle. He can erase all that though by winning here tonight!
(As Weapon X approaches the ring, “Stronger” by Kanye West hits the PA system through the building and the crowd gets up to cheer for Chris Craven!)
(Chris Cash) Craven made his debut last week in a big way when he defeated Big Bad Nardie as Scott Kage’s surprise Pick Your Poison opponent. Right here tonight, he’s looking at his first shot at gold in this Hardcore Throwdown; he appears to have the crowd somewhat on his side which is always a plus.
(Craven is posing on the middle rope when “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” by Travis Tritt hits and out to the back to a decent pop comes Double Trouble.)
(Chris Cash) I honestly think Double Trouble could be a wild card here tonight in this match. He hasn’t performed to the level I have seen him at in the past, maybe this opportunity will motivate him to get back to that level.
(DT stands close to the ring, and waits on the outside as the inside is getting full. The crowd starts giving a mixed reaction knowing one is likely out next, “Little Weapon” by Lupe Fiasco hits and now we hear a lot more boos as out from the back comes the last man to hold the PWR Hardcore Championship, Taker of Darkness!)
(Chris Cash) Looks like Taker hasn’t won over fans thus far in the PWR, although his brutal in-ring style should serve him well here tonight. He referred to the Chosen One a few weeks back, I wonder who he could have meant by that. Hopefully we’ll have new light shed on that topic soon. He is down to the ring and all of our known entrants are out here, who could be the sixth and final entrant?
(“Hellraiser” by Ozzy Osbourne hits and the crowd buzzes, knowing who this might be; after a little bit of the intro out from the back emerges “The Football Hooligan” Michael Fletcher the crowd gives him a mixed reaction, but more boos due to his vignettes. He wears a t-shirt and jeans and carries a beer bottle to the ring with him.)
(Chris Cash) And here he is, the Kick Taker as he was called in the videos. “The Football Hooligan” Michael Fletcher has arrived in PWR! He has owned and competed in several feds in the past, including as a co-owner in Ace’s VWI and now he’s here to compete from across the pond. From what I know about him, this type of environment suits him perfectly, the bar room brawler loves the chaos of a pure street fight. Let’s get this match started!
15 Minute Hardcore Throwdown for the PWR Hardcore Championship
Taker of Darkness vs. Chris Craven vs. Jacky Moonshine vs. Double Trouble vs. Weapon X vs "The Football Hooligan” Michael Fletcher (Debut)
The bell rings and all hell breaks loose with all six men exchanging blows in the middle of the ring, they pair off with Fletcher and Moonshine fighting, DT and X in another corner and Craven and Taker in the middle of the ring. Moonshine nails Fletcher with a clothesline and sends him crashing out to the floor! DT and Craven then both simultaneously send Taker and WX out to the outside as well! The crowd is cheering big time for the three standing in the center of the ring, Moonshine sees all three on the outside standing near each other and hits the opposite ropes, he charges and delivers a sweet Suicide Dive to the outside of the ring laying out three of his opponents! He ends up on top of Weapon X, he covers him! 1……2…….Kickout! Craven and Trouble now head out and each grab a metal garbage can, Taker stands up after being taken down and eats a garbage can to the face from Craven! Fletcher stands and suffers the same fate! But he doesn’t go down, he’s egging Craven on to hit him again! It takes four shots total to knock him down, as Craven was distracted here; Trouble nails him with his trash can. But Trouble turns and is met with a shot to the head from a ladder by Moonshine! Everyone is down on the ground and Moonshine sets up the ladder, which must be about 16 feet high. He begins to climb the ladder and the crowd is buzzing as he does so. He gets to the top as his opponents below are all sort of standing; he leaps off and connects with a huge Frog-splash crossbody onto all of his opponents!! The crowd is going nuts now and he rolls over towards the ring holding his ribs in pain. Hooligan got out of the way of the move as he side stepped out of the way, he sees Double Trouble down on all fours, he takes a couple running steps, PENALTY KICK! Cover! 1…….2………3!! “THE FOOTBALL HOOLIGAN” MICHAEL FLETCHER IS THE CURRENT HARDCORE CHAMPION! Hooligan stands up and then slides into the ring, he poses and is celebrating to boos from the crowd. As he continues the charade, Moonshine slides into the ring behind him and has a steel chair in tow. Hooligan turns and Jacky tosses him the chair, SPINNING HEEL KICK INTO THE CHAIR INTO HOOLIGAN’S FACE! He makes the cover! 1……2…….Kickout! Moonshine once again almost getting a fall, he seems to be winning over the fans thus far with his high risk offense. He grabs the chair again, waiting for Hooligan to stand, he does and Moonshine swings the chair, but Hooligan ducks it. Moonshine turns back around and Hooligan headbutts the chair into Moonshine’s head! This knocks Jacky down and busts open the current Hardcore champion in the process. He stands tall in the center of the ring, seeing the action between some of the others now on the outside, he exits the ring and grabs a street sign, he delivers shots to Double Trouble, then one to Weapon X. He turns toward Taker of Darkness but is met with a kick to the gut, Taker grabs a chair and cracks Hooligan in the back with it. In the process, Hooligan begins to walk up the ramp in pain. Taker hits him in the back again with the chair and then follows after him while grabbing a garbage can full of assorted weapons. Hooligan gets to the top of the ramp and Taker dumps the weapons out up there, hitting Hooligan in the head with the garbage can! This finally knocks him down on the top of the ramp; Taker closes in on him, as Hooligan stands he slaps the hand around the throat looking for a chokeslam. Before he can lift, Taker is knocked down with a chair shot to the back from Chris Craven! Craven then hooks Hooligan looking for the Craven DDT, but Hooligan spins out. He almost fell over during the spin and took a moment to compose himself, a big mistake as Craven picked up a chair and delivered a sickening chair shot to the head that causes Hooligan to fall down in a heap. Craven is about to go for a cover, but Weapon X from behind now runs up and throws Craven face first into the entrance display! X goes for the cover on Craven but the ref reminds him that he has to pin the current champ, he crawls over to Hooligan and covers. 1….2……Kickout by Hooligan! X pulls him up and lifts him in the air, he goes to run him head first into the steel entrance display, but Hooligan slides off the back and pushes him into the wall. Back near ringside, Jacky Moonshine has set up a couple tables next to one another. On the ramp, Hooligan delivers a reverse DDT to X. He looks over and sees Craven on all fours after the chair shot, he runs, PENALTY KICK! Hooligan looks at the clock counting down and sees that there are roughly five minutes left. Seeing the carnage on top of the ramp, he heads back down towards the ringside area. He is met with a flurry of offense from both Double Trouble and Jacky Moonshine! They get him down and place him on the tables, Moonshine climbs up to the top of the ladder again, the crowd really buzzing, but DT then tips the ladder! MOONSHINE GOES CRASHING THROUGH THE TABLES!! HOOLIGAN ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY!! DT turns back towards where the Hooligan was, but sees he has now fled towards the ring. Being the marked man is tough, having to constantly avoid all of your opponents. He is in the ring and DT follows after him with a steel chair in hand, on the ramp, Taker begins to slowly stir and get to his feet. DT misses with a chair shot attempt, but then connects with a poke using the chair to the stomach, Hooligan leans over and DT cracks him across the back with the chair! He drops the chair, kick to the gut, STUNNER! He drops down to cover, the crowd is cheering, 1……2…….Kickout by Hooligan!! DT is mad about that, he gets up, but is met with a cookie sheet to the head courtesy of Weapon X! X sees the chair and hooks DT, CANADIAN DESTROYER ON THE CHAIR!! DT gets absolutely wrecked there by that move! X is standing in the ring and he now focuses his attention on Hooligan as the clock approaches the two minute mark! X now pulls Hooligan up to his feet, but as he does so Taker reenters the fray. X and Taker now start slugging it out in the middle of the ring, X knocks Taker down but then is spun around by Hooligan who unloads with some punches, but X blocks and starts with some of his own. Hooligan gets turned around by a big one and Taker has Hooligan’s beer bottle that was under the bottom corner turnbuckle! He swings it, but Hooligan ducks it! He instead smashes the bottle into X’s face! This busts X open and knocks him out of the ring, Hooligan cannot believe that his beer was broken and the excess is now spilled on the canvas, he is down on the mat, trying to scoop the beer off the canvas!! This distraction allows Taker to grab a chair in the ring, he drops an elbow across the back using the chair! He pulls Hooligan up and hooks him, DARKNESS FALLS ON THE CHAIR!!! COVER!! 1……….2………….3!!! TAKER OF DARKNESS IS THE CURRENT HARDCORE CHAMPION! Taker looks at the clock and sees only 45 seconds remaining, his opponents are all down on the outside of the ring, or inside. Moonshine is moving some on the floor and Craven is still laid out on the top of the ramp. He decides to go to the timekeeper’s table and grab the title. This prompts boos from the crowd as he is trying to escape before anyone can recover and pin him! He walks up the ramp and gets to the top, he stops and poses to boos! Suddenly those boos turn to cheers as Chris Craven nips up behind Taker! Taker turns, kick to the gut, CRAVEN DDT ON THE STEEL STAGE!!! CRAVEN COVERS TAKER OF DARKNESS!!!!! 1……….2…………..3!!!!!!!! CHRIS CRAVEN IS THE CURRENT HARDCORE CHAMPION!! When he finishes the cover there are just 5 seconds on the clock….5…4…3…2…1!!!!
Winner and NEW PWR Hardcore Champion at 15:00 - Chris Craven
(Chris Cash) What a wild ride that match was! So much going on, and that’s exactly what we expected to happen! But in the end, it was Chris Craven, who I for one thought was taken out of the match at the hands of The Hooligan’s Penalty Kick that prevailed after drilling Taker of Darkness with the Craven DDT and pinning him just under the wire to become the NEW Hardcore Champion! Crazy match and I am sure we’ll have more craziness to come tonight!
(The camera switches off the celebrating Chris Craven and takes us backstage. We see Big Bad Nardie is prepping for his title match. He is approached by The Overtaker.)
(The Overtaker) Nardie.
(Big Bad Nardie) Which one of you am I speaking to?
(The Overtaker) Always joking my old friend. But I come to you with a very serious proposition.
(Big Bad Nardie) Right, so Anarchy Taker, good. 'Cuz I prefer you. Thanks for taking out Ice Queen last week buddy.
(The Overtaker) It was the least I could do to prove to you that I am still as destructive as ever. And I will let my rage run on BB Blayze tonight.
(Big Bad Nardie) Good, 'cuz I don't much like him either.
(The Overtaker) And I don't like that I was pulled from the Hardcore Title match tonight. It was announced at Full Throttle and by the Rumor Rundown management pulled me. Not that I don't understand. As if I had been left in that match the PWR would be down 5 competitors that I would have put on injured reserve.
(Big Bad Nardie) Again with the anger issues.
(The Overtaker) I would have bloodied them and beaten them and claimed gold, and now I sit, out of a shot and thrown BB Blayze.
(Big Bad Nardie) So the point of why your here?
(The Overtaker) To further my quest for victory... For titles. It's no coincidence my old friend that last week I spoke to you of reuniting, only to have the Tag Title tournament announced.
(Big Bad Nardie) I like what you're getting at. I may run alone these days, but I'm always down to grab some gold. And you're not going to hold me down like that bitch Raven.
(The Overtaker) So be it my friend. One last time.
(Big Bad Nardie) The Deadly Alliance is back.
(They shake hands.)
(Big Bad Nardie) God help everyone in our way.
(The Overtaker) They will be taken over...TO THE OTHER SIDE.
(They smirk and the camera fades back inside the arena.)
(Chris Cash) It looks like we have one more tag team in the tournament, as the Deadly Alliance is reunited! This can only bad news for any other team looking to become champions!
(“Bodies” by Drowning Pool blares out over the arena's loudspeakers and out from behind the curtain steps The Executioner to a great ovation from the crowd!)
(Chris Cash) Here comes The Executioner! Exie didn't get off to the start he would have liked in his PWR return on our last edition of Full Throttle, but tonight he looks to get things back on track. We heard earlier this week that Exie was going to make an open challenge to anyone and it looks like he's going through with that statement.
(The Executioner makes his way into the ring, takes a mic from ring announcer Derek Daniels and returns to the middle of the ring to address the crowd.)
(The Executioner) Hello Chicago! Good to be back!
(The crowd cheers the mention of their city.)
(The Executioner) I want to say first off, just how glad I am to be back in PWR and I am thrilled that this company is back and thriving. It truly has been one of my favorite places to compete in this business, and I look forward to doing so for a long time to come!
(The crowd cheers Exie's statement.)
(The Executioner) After the last show, I told Synyster that I wanted to compete on this pay-per-view. He told me to come out and make an open challenge, and I thought that was a great idea. What better way to display that I'll take on anyone at any time than to come out and actually prove it. So, this goes out to, hell, anyone! I’m here and I’m not going anywhere! I’m so confident, I’m willing to make the match no disqualification! I want a fight! Who's game?
(Exie would stand at the ready when suddenly the lights dim and all focus turns to the big screen. The dark figure from the videos in previous weeks stepped in but this time, the voice wasn't scrambled.)
Executioner, you shouldn't of laid out a challenge
Not on this night
Get ready for me to step out of the darkness
I will be your living nightmare
because....
(The dark figure steps forward to be revealed as.................. Fatal Fury!)
(Fatal Fury) You will forever FEAR THE FURY!
(The video becomes snowy as it ends.)
(Chris Cash) Holy crap! Fatal Fury????
(The lights return to normal as Fatal Fury attacks Executioner from behind with a Kendo stick!)
(Chris Cash) There he is! The dark figure we had been seeing for weeks now is revealed and is none other than Fatal Fury!
(Fury snaps the cane over Executioner's back several times before letting out a giant yell towards the Chicago crowd as they give a huge pop!)
(Chris Cash) Fans are going crazy for the return of Fury! Executioner did ask for no disqualification. I'm sure he regrets it now!
(Executioner backs into the turnbuckle! The bell rings!)
No Disqualification Match
The Executioner vs Fatal Fury
The Executioner stumbles out of the corner and Fury is there and waiting! Fury rears back with the Kendo stick and levels Exie across the forehead, dropping him to the canvas! Fury quickly tosses the Kendo stick away, dragging Exie up to a standing base. Fury lifts Exie onto his shoulders, FATAL FAREWELL! Exie driven into the mat! Fury with a lateral press and a hook of the leg, 1....................... 2........................... 3!
Winner by pinfall at 0:17 - Fatal Fury
(Chris Cash) What an impact, literally made by Fatal Fury! Fury taking The Executioner by surprise and picking up the quick victory! The Executioner is now 0-2 since his return, and he looks due for a trip back to the drawing board!
(The camera switches from Fury as he is celebrating his way back up the ramp, to BB Blayze who is walking to the ring for his match, when he runs into his opponent, The Overtaker.)
(BB Blayze) Woah man, save it for in the ring.
(The Overtaker) Hey, it's okay man, not what I'm here for.
(BB Blayze) Well considering we're about to fight, I really can't see you trying to be friendly with me right now.
(The Overtaker) I'm not the mindless monster that I used to be, we may have a match, and that's fine. May the best man win it.
(BB Blayze) So then why are you talking to me now? To wish me luck aginst you?
(The Overtaker) Because I've noticed you have had problems with Big Bad Nardie lately, and you know I have unfinished buisness with him too.
(BB Blayze) And?
(The Overtaker) And I feel that our mutual rivalry will have mutual benefit.
(BB Blayze) Get to the point man.
(The Overtaker) I say we unite under our common indifference. The tag tournament starts on Full Throttle, and I think you're a good man to help me go to the top. And through Nardie.
(BB Blayze) You know, I like the way you think. Alright, I'm in.
(The Overtaker) Sounds good. All that stand aginst us will be taken over....
(Blayze waits for him to finish and he doesn't.)
(The Overtaker) Come on man, we're partners. You know the rest.
(BB Blayze) .... To.. The other side.
(The Overtaker) See you out there.
(The camera fades back inside the arena to Chris Cash.)
(Chris Cash) OK, did I just hear that right? The Overtaker has agreed to team with BOTH Big Bad Nardie and BB Blayze in the Tag Team Championship tournament on the upcoming edition of Full Throttle? Can someone please explain to me how that is going to work? More strange things happen here in PWR each and every week!
(“Inside the Fire (Instrumental)” hits and out to the back to a big pop comes BB Blayze!)
(Chris Cash) Here comes BB Blayze, one of the biggest fan favorites in PWR! Tonight he faces The Overtaker, but that has been overshadowed by his rivalry with Big Bad Nardie which seems to have taken shape from the very beginning of the relaunch. The two of them just do not see eye to eye on anything.
(Blayze is to the ring and gets settled in as the crowd chants “B-B-Blayze”, he awaits his opponent. The crowd shifts to a mixed reaction as “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff plays through the arena and out from the back walks The Overtaker.)
(Chris Cash) Over the last month we have seen two very different and very real sides of this man. The Overtaker seems to be having some sort of identity crisis and in the process and has placed himself squarely in the middle of the ongoing feud between Big Bad Nardie and BB Blayze. That was even more evident tonight when he asked BOTH of them to be his partner in the PWR Tag Team Championship tournament. Overtaker climbs into the ring and looks ready to go. Big time singles match here at Second City Showdown, The Overtaker, BB Blayze!
Singles Match
BB Blayze vs The Overtaker
The two come to the center of the ring and shake hands before the match, they’re opponents tonight but partners in the future. They then come together with a hard collar and elbow tie up, the much larger Overtaker backs Blayze into a corner and cleanly breaks the tie up. They circle back to the middle of the ring and come together for a tie up again, this time Blayze locks in a side headlock, but Overtaker backs him to the ropes and then whips him off and across the ring. Blayze comes at OT with a shoulder block, but doesn’t budge the big man. He rears back and comes again, but right into a back body drop from Overtaker! No! Blayze landed on his feet and springboards off the middle rope with a dropkick! He gets a two count there. Blayze goes to pull OT up, but OT grabs him on his shoulders and delivers a powerful Samoan drop. We now play how badly can Overtaker beat the crap out of Blayze for a couple minutes as Blayze narrowly escapes defeat with close fall after close fall. At the five minute mark, Blayze saw an opening when Overtaker attempted a German suplex, but Blayze backflipped and landed on his feet behind him! Blayze the connected with a reverse STO that took both men down! The crowd cheers for Blayze to rise as the referee’s count reaches seven, and both get to their feet before nine. Blayze looks like a new man after he didn’t have to deal with a 270 pounder throwing him around for a few moments. After some punches were exchanged, Blayze took advantage and at the seven minute mark connected with his patented Pyro-Lysis move for a very close two count! The crowd thought he might have won it there. Blayze charged at OT near the ropes, but OT saw it coming and backdropped him out to the outside of the ring. OT looked like he was in a haze and snaps, quickly following Blayze out to the outside of the ring, instead of going after him, he looks underneath the ring and emerges with his trademark rusted pickaxe! This is not a No DQ match! He goes over to Blayze and raises it in the air as the referee pleads with him not to use it, he swings it down but Blayze narrowly avoids it. Blayze looks shocked at the potential for OT to use it and hits a dropkick. Blayze pulls OT up and rolls him into the ring, he charges at his opponent again but this time Overtaker takes him down with a big boot! 2 count again! Overtaker now signals for the end and wants to hit that Clothesline From Hell. Blayze is up and Overtaker runs at him, swings the arm, but Blayze catches the arm and spins Overtaker up on his back! REIGN OF FIRE! What a counter! 1-2-3!
Winner by pinfall at 9:42 - BB Blayze
(Chris Cash) What a great back and forth match that was, but my question is why did The Overtaker try to use that rusted pickaxe against Blayze in this match? It wasn’t No DQ and right before he had a civil chat with his opponent, something flipped in his demeanor during the match and when that side comes out, he becomes an unpredictable and dangerous monster! But Blayze continues to be on a roll here in the PWR adding another victory to his record, he’s gotta be someone in line for a major title match coming up soon here. Coming up next, The Guy defends his AOW World Championship against PWR Creative Head Jacob “Ace” Davis! Right now, let's head to the back where Stacy Warren is standing by with Big Bad Nardie.
(Camera switches off Blayze as he walks back up the ramp, glaring back at The Overtaker in the ring to Stacy Warren, who is indeed joined by Big Bad Nardie.)
(Stacy Warren) I am here with Big Bad Nardie as he looks ready and eager for the Three Way Dance Television Title match.
(Big Bad Nardie) Ready and eager? Really? Did get this job by blowing Syn? He drags you everywhere doesn't he? Hit the bricks woman!
(With a look of utter disgust, Stacy leaves.)
(Big Bad Nardie) Something I said?
(Nardie chuckles.)
(Big Bad Nardie) Well, back to me and that is what this match is all about. The forgone conclusion of this TV Title tourney. Nardie holding up another championship and all you others being upset. With this BB Blayze crap going on, people have lost sight of what really matters. It's not the silent Queen or Rebel Yell Kage. For God sakes, it's not about BB Blayze, the choke artist. It's all about...
(Raven Jones) Me.
(Raven Jones steps into the frame.)
(Raven Jones) Oh, hey Nardie. Do you remember me? I’m the girl you left for dead 6 weeks ago.
(Big Bad Nardie) You look cute with the necklace. Didn't I make it clear you were done here?
(Raven Jones) You did. I’m not here for you. I’m here to sign a contract.
(Big Bad Nardie) You lost me..
(Raven Jones) Let me dumb it down for you then. I got a job. Working for someone who's name dwarfs your own. A person......
(Big Bad Nardie) Look, I don't care what you did or who you are working for now. My match is coming up and it's winning time. So, I'll see you when I see you.
(Nardie walks away, but as he does, Raven's phone rings. The ringtone is “Inside The Fire” by Disturbed.)
(Raven Jones) Oh hi..... I swung past, but no one was in there...... Great, I'll be there in a sec.... Yes, I know.... I'll stay away from him.... Yes, I signed it..... See you soon.
(Raven smiles and hangs up the phone.)
(Raven Jones) Oh, Nardie if you only knew.
(The scene switches from Raven Jones to the locker room of one Chaos Kid. CK is sitting alone in his locker room, presumably gathering his thoughts before the main event tonight, when he sees the PWR camera crew out of the corner of his eye.)
(Chaos Kid) I was expecting you guys to be here. Here to get those final words before the main event of the night, eh?
(Chaos Kid stands up and looks directly at the camera.)
(Chaos Kid) I was here two years ago with a baseball bat in my hand, ready to face PK Punk for the vacant PWR World Title. I was saying that PWR would go six feet under at my hands and that I would be the PWR Champion. You remember what happened? I was champ and PWR died. Now it's two years later, and nothing has changed. Two years have past and I'm still facing some crappy piece of talent. Last time I beat him, and this time I will beat him so badly that he will never ever want to face me again, it's that simple.
(Chaos Kid closes his eyes.)
(Chaos Kid) Now take my advice guy. By the time I open my eyes, you will not be here. Now, if you are too stupid to understand me and I find you still here, I will get my baseball bat and physically show you what I mean.
(The film crew hurries to leave the locker room, as Chaos Kid stands in the middle of the room, his eyes still closed, cracking a smile. The camera goes black as the door shuts, and we switch to the interview area where Lizzie McFadden is standing by with one third of the TV Title Three Way Dance match, Ice Queen!)
(Lizzie McFadden) Lizzie McFadden here, and my guest at this time is Ice Queen. Icey, you have fought your way to the finals of the PWR World Television Title tournament, and tonight you have the chance to walk out with the gold. Your final thoughts as you get ready to go into battle tonight?
(Ice Queen) Lizzie, tonight is bringing up a wealth of emotions. I’m proud first off. Proud to be the only woman actively competing in PWR. I’m excited as well. Excited to have the opportunity tonight to walk out holding the second most prestigious championship in PWR. I’m focused. I’m focused on not taking my opponents too lightly. Kage, I don’t know too much about. I know he says he's an honorable man, and that’s admirable. Nardie, I know him all too well. We held the PWR World Tag Team Titles at one time. The Nardie that stands here in 2012 is not the same Nardie I knew. Nonetheless, tonight I will enter that ring against two top stars here in PWR. When the dust settles, I will leave the new Television Champion and that will bring on one more emotion. Sheer bliss.
(Lizzie McFadden) Good luck tonight Icey. Now to Dan Dexter who is standing by with The Guy!
(Camera switches from Lizzie & Ice Queen to Dan Dexter & The Guy who gets a big pop from the crowd.)
(Dan Dexter) Guy, it's just about time. Up next is your match versus the Creative Head of PWR, Jacob “Ace” Davis for the AOW World Championship.
(The Guy) It's time! Now, I’m no Bruce Buffer, but tonight I can promise you one thing folks, you are indeed in for a fight here tonight!
(The crowd cheers wildly.)
(The Guy) Ace, you smarmy, smug son of a bitch, you have done everything you can to get under my skin these last few weeks, and well, mission accomplished. On the last Full Throttle, you saw exactly what happens when you get under my skin. It gets you bloody, beaten and driven through a table! Now tonight, you come and try and take my AOW World Title. A title that I have carried for a year and a half now. Now just because you have a little power, you think you're going to try and take it from me? I don’t think so jack! I’m done talking Ace. The time for talking is over! I'm ready to kick your ass all over Chicago! Now wipe that shit out of your eye........
(The crowd cheers as The Guy pauses in the delivery of his signature catchphrase.)
(The Guy) Courtesy of The Guy!
(The crowd cheers loudly once again as The Guy leaves the frame.)
(Dan Dexter) The AOW Title is on the line, next!
(The camera switches off Dan Dexter, back into the ring and Derek Daniels.)
(Derek Daniels) Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, set for one fall, is for the AOW Championship!
(The crowd cheers wildly upon hearing the announcement, and the cheers get even louder as “Redefine” by Soil hits over the PA, and out from behind the curtain steps The Guy!)
(Derek Daniels) Introducing first! From Greenville, Michigan, weighing in at 345 pounds, he is the reigning and defending AOW World Heavyweight Champion, THE GUY!
(The Guy starts to make his way down the ramp, headed toward the ring.)
(Chris Cash) There he is folks, the reigning AOW World Champion, the clear fan favorite, The Guy! Guy is riding a definite wave of momentum after picking up his first win in PWR on the last Full Throttle. Before that, he made a clear statement, drawing blood on his opponent tonight, then driving the man through a table! It has to be a proud night for The Guy, stepping back into the ring once again to defend the AOW Title, a title he worked very hard to win.
(The Guy makes it to ringside, shaking hands with some of the fans before stepping up the ring steps. Guy walks down the apron, steps through the ropes and into the ring. Guy removes the AOW Championship strapped around his waist and holds it high for all to see! The flashbulbs pop all over the arena, getting the moment locked into history. The Guy folds the title up, then hands it off to the referee. The Guy takes to his corner, before turning toward the stage, awaiting his opponent.)
(Chris Cash) The Guy looks ready!
(The Guy would stand at the ready as “White Limo” by Foo Fighters would hit over the PA, and slowly walking from behind the curtain was the Creative Head of PWR and the former AOW World Champion, Jacob “Ace” Davis! The crowd boos loudly as they lay their eyes on Davis for the first time tonight.)
(Chris Cash) Oh come on! He looks like the Mummy! Boris Karloff would be so proud!
(“Ace” steps out into full view, and we see he has a rather extensive wrap surrounding his head, presumably after the attack he suffered at Guy's hands on the last Full Throttle.)
(Derek Daniels) Now introducing, the challenger! From Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the Creative Head of PWR, JACOB “ACE” DAVIS!
(Chris Cash) The Guy is chuckling in the ring, and I am in total agreement with him, this has to be some sort of joke! I know he got busted open, but this is just too much!
(“Ace” continues his ginger walk to the ring, selling the injury from The Guy. “Ace” stumbles a little as he makes it to the ring steps. Davis makes his way up the steps slowly, walking down the apron. “Ace” pauses for a moment to gather himself before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. The crowd showers down jeers upon “Ace” as he heads to his corner. The referee steps in, showing Davis the AOW Championship. The referee returns to mid-ring, then raises the title high for all to see, officially showing everyone the stakes.)
(Chris Cash) That's what this is about here tonight, the AOW Championship! Who will leave Chicago with the title?
(The referee passes the title off to Derek Daniels, who takes it to the timekeeper's table. The referee calls for the bell and this highly anticipated match is underway!)
AOW World Heavyweight Championship Match
(ch)The Guy vs Jacob "Ace" Davis
The Guy steps out of his corner, giving Ace a look up and down, chuckling just a little bit. Ace not taking too kindly to the reaction of Guy! Ace steps toward the middle of the ring, screaming at The Guy, “THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!” The Guy chuckles once more, before connecting with a solid right hand, dropping Ace to the mat! Guy follows up quickly as Ace gets right back to his feet, backing him to the ropes. Guy with an Irish whip in, Ace off the far side, Guy drops Davis with a strong lariat! Guy down quickly, getting only a one count! As Ace starts to push off the canvas, Guy locks on a side headlock, wrenching down on the head of Davis. Guy tightens his grip as Ace backs to the ropes, trying to send Guy across. Ace pushes off, and Ace slips out of the hold! However, he's missing something! The Guy took the bandage with him! Wait, there's no wound on the head of Ace! He's completely healed! Ace trying to pull a fast one here tonight and as The Guy turns, Ace is there to cut him off with a quick kick to the midsection, doubling the man over. Ace with clubbing forearms to the upper back of the champion, dropping him to a knee! Ace bouncing off the ropes, double foot dropkick right to the mush! Ace scurries over, 1................... Guy kicks out with authority! Davis postures up, locking on a rear chinlock on The Guy. Ace torquing the head of the champion, who motions his arms to the crowd, using the energy they give off! Guy pushing to a knee, repeated elbows to the midsection of Ace, trying to force the man to break the hold! Four finally does it! Guy takes off for the ropes, but is stopped right in his tracks as Ace grabs a handful of hair, ripping the man back down to the canvas! Ace holds his hands up, trying to proclaim his innocence as the referee gets in his face, admonishing him for that tactic! Ace closes back in after he finishes his talk with the referee, and grabs onto the hair of the rising champion. Ace backs Guy to the ropes and unleashes a series of blistering knife edge chops to the upper torso of Guy! The crowd “Whooooo's” along with each strike from the challenger. Ace grabs the arm, Irish whip in, Guy reverses! Ace sent into the ropes! Ace off the near side, Guy drops his head, and it's sent snapping back by Ace with a kick to the chest! Ace off the same ropes, coming back at Guy, Guy rises! Guy takes Ace into the air and plants him into the canvas with a spinebuster! Guy floats over and hooks the leg! 1............................... 2.................................. KICKOUT by Ace Davis! Ace quickly transitions to a mounted position on Ace and unloads with a series of hard right hands to the cranium of the challenger! The referee forcing his way in, trying to secure a break and finally he does, but the damage is done! Ace is once again busted open from the not quite healed wound Ace gave him on Full Throttle! Ace rolls over as the pitter-patter of blood droplets would start to stain the canvas! Guy once again turning to the crowd, motioning for them to cheer, and they oblige in spades! Guy turns back to Ace, who has crawled to the ropes, trying to gain his composure. Guy grabs onto the head of Ace, locking on a front facelock. Ace taken into the air! Guy holding Ace high in the air, letting all the blood rush down! The crimson drops running down the ribcage of The Guy as he has Ace up! Finally, Guy falls back to the mat, dropping Ace with a textbook stalling vertical suplex! Davey Boy Smith would have been proud of that one! Ace breathing heavy as Guy once again makes the lateral press, 1...................... 2.......................... KICKOUT by Ace as he shoots the shoulder off the mat! Guy pushes to a standing base. He reaches down and grabbing Ace by the hair drags him to a stand as well. Guy grabs Ace's arm, Irish whipping him across the ring, and Ace crashes hard in the buckles! Ace, wearing the proverbial crimson mask, leans against the corner, trying to get his wits about him. The Guy backs to the corner across from Ace, waving his hands, bringing the crowd into this once again! The Guy with a full head of steam, charging across the ring! At the last split second, Ace brings his boot up, catching Guy right under the chin! Guy turns away for a brief moment, before charging in again! Ace gets the boot up once more! Guy turns away once again, and Ace elevates to the middle rope! Ace looking out, waiting for Guy to turn! Guy obliges, and Ace leaps off the ropes, connecting with a strong flying European uppercut! Guy drops like a stone! Ace drapes an arm over the man, 1.......................... 2............................. KICKOUT by Guy! A bit of a lackadaisical cover by Ace right there, but he's been battered for the last few moments of this contest, so any cover to force Guy to expel at least a little energy is a good thing for the challenger. Ace pushes to his knees, leaned over Guy. Ace grabs the hair of the champion, pulling his head off the canvas. Ace headbutts Guy, once, twice, three times! Ace busting open that wound just a little more, leaving some of the gore on the champion's forehead as well! Ace elevates to a stand, keeping hold of Guy's head, dragging him up as well. Ace moves behind Guy, hooking him up and taking him in the air! Ace falls backward, spiking Guy's head into the mat with a backdrop driver! What a brutal move! Ace quickly to his feet, and he's headed to the corner! Ace looking back to where he's positioned Guy, confident in his decision, he leaps up, split-legged moonsault finds it's mark! Ace reaches out, hooking the leg of the champion, 1................................ 2................................. KICKOUT by the champion! Ace kicked off Guy's chest, and he's incredulous! He simply cannot believe it! Ace rising up and this time, he gets in the face of the referee! Ace slapping his hands together, insinuating that the referee's count was slow, and the official assures him it was not! Ace turns back to the reeling champion, who's holding his midsection after that brilliant looking moonsault from the challenger! Ace reaches down, grabs the champion by the hair and pulls him to a wobbly stand. Ace backs Guy to the ropes. Ace with a series of strong elbows to the jaw of Guy, rocking the champion! After about five big elbows, Ace grabs the arm of Guy, sending him off into the ropes once more. Guy off the ropes, Ace goes for a clothesline, ducked by Guy! The Guy pushes back to a stand in the middle of the ring, and he drags his thumb across his throat! It looks like The Guy is ready to put this one away! The Guy walks over and grabs Ace by his blood stained hair, dragging him to the middle of the ring. Guy pulls Ace into a front facelock, Deathlock DDT on the way! Abruptly, the power inside the United Center goes out! Like the weeks before, darkness fills a PWR arena! However, this time there is a brief difference. Static waves appear on the PWR Tron with white noise heard over the PA system. The fuzz calms down as words are displayed on the screen.
..you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power...
More white noise and static comes over the screen before fading out and into another quote.
You think you've got the power? You've never had the power. The power... of PWR... has always been right here.
One more time the static and white noise would flood the United Center, until it was replaced by what looked to be a plain black screen. But, under brief observation, you could see shadows move, and this time... you could actually hear a voice.
(Voice) "And God said let there be light... and there was light!"
The shadow moves their hand up and you hear a click! The crowd expects to see the shadow... but instead the lights in the United Center come back to full power. Second City Showdown has returned to normal! The referee stands looking at the screen and is completely missing what is going on behind him! Ace has the AOW Championship belt! The Guy has been laid out! Quickly, as the referee turns, Ace tosses the belt away and back in the direction of the timekeeper's table! Ace quickly heads to the top rope! In a flash, Ace scales the ropes, looking out upon the downed champion! Ace leaps and connects with Ace High! 180° Frog Splash finds its mark on the chest of The Guy! Ace hooks the leg, 1.......................................... 2............................................ 3! Ace Davis defeats The Guy!
Winner by pinfall at 18:24 and NEW AOW World Champion - Jacob "Ace" Davis
(Chris Cash) We have a new AOW Champion! The lights went out yet again and Ace capitalizes! What in the blue hell is going on here?! What was the meaning of the video? I can't take much more of this nonsense! Is Ace behind it? He sure used it to his advantage here tonight!
(The camera follows Jacob “Ace” Davis as he heads back up the ramp, holding the AOW World Championship while pointing to his temple, wanting everyone to know he's smarter than them. The camera would fade off “Ace” and take us backstage, where cameras see a man at a catering table with a Green Bay Packers jersey on. The fans boo vehemently upon seeing the jersey. The camera pans up, and we see it's none other than Big Bad Nardie, leading to another series of boos from the capacity crowd. Nardie stands up from the table and begins to walk away.)
(Big Bad Nardie) Can't even eat in peace.
(As Nardie walks out of catering, BB Blayze walks in to cheers from the crowd. The two stand face to face, looking each other over.)
(BB Blayze) Just the man I was looking for. The upset king himself. I wanted to ask you, when you going to man up and give me a rematch?
(Big Bad Nardie) Upset king, I like that.
(Nardie chuckles.)
(Big Bad Nardie) You would know about kings wouldn’t you BB? You being the king of disappointment and all. King of underachieving. King of mediocre. And just like Chi-Town, the king of losers.
(The crowd boos loudly after hearing Nardie's shot at their town.)
(BB Blayze) Are you done?! You think that this is a joke Nardie?
(Big Bad Nardie) No Blayze. I think you are a joke. The answer of your little question is no. I have nothing to prove to you super-face. Now, if will excuse me I have a title to go win.
(As Nardie walks out, Blayze grabs him by the arm.)
(BB Blayze) Listen to me you arrogant asshole, you will fight me. We will finish this.
(Big Bad Nardie) Get this through your head. You can't beat me!
(Nardie breaks Blayze's grip and walks out.)
(BB Blayze) We shall see about that won't we Nardie.
(The camera holds on Blayze for a moment before transitioning to PK Punk, leading to an explosion of cheers from the fans in the arena! The hometown kid, stands in the interview area, smiling from ear to ear upon hearing the ovation from the Chicago faithful. Punk begins to speak.)
(PK Punk) You know, as I was leaving the arena after I made my return, I had to do some serious thinking. I mean, this is the biggest match of my career, in my hometown, against my arch-rival, Chaos Kid.
(Crowd boos loudly.)
(PK Punk) This arena… is something special. This city is something special. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Walter Payton, Sammy Sosa, Ernie Banks, Bobby Hull, Tony Esposito, they ALL have come through this city. They all left their mark. And tonight, in front of 20,000 of my friends, family, and neighbors, I get to leave MY mark in this city.
(The crowd starts chanting “Next World Champ”.)
(PK Punk) Now, to quite a few people, I already left my mark, the mark left on Chaos’ left cheek from those knucks I hit him with on Full Throttle. But, no. That mark is nothing. It is NOTHING compared to the mark that I’m going to leave tonight, in the middle of that ring, in the middle of the Madhouse on Madison Street.
(Crowd starts chanting “Let’s Go Punk”.)
(PK Punk) Now, Chaos, you like to call me a loser, you say I can never win the big one. You don’t forget that I’ve held 8 titles, but also don’t forget that 7 of those titles are tag titles. You don’t forget, and you DAMN sure don’t let me forget. But, there is ONE thing you forget. You seem to forget that, the main reason I’ve never held a big time title is because I’ve never gotten a CHANCE to hold a big time title. In over 5 years in this business, I’ve gotten exactly ONE shot at a world title. And I lost that match. To you, as a matter of fact.
(Crowd boos at the memory of Punk losing his title match.)
(PK Punk) I’m not going to deny that I lost that. But, I’m also not going to LIE and say you were the better man. These fans aren’t dumb, much like you aren’t dumb. You know as well as I do that if it wasn’t for a certain someone, and his interference, I would have put your ass on that mat after hitting you with The Insignificant Mile, and won my first World Title. Tonight, that all changes. Tonight is the night that I FINALLY get my revenge. Tonight is the night that I leave MY mark on the city of Chicago… Tonight… is the night… that I become the World Heavyweight Champion.
(The crowd cheers wildly, chanting “Punk, Punk, Punk” as PK smiles into the camera. Camera transitions off the proud Chicagoan to just outside the locker room. Stacy Warren is standing by.)
(Stacy Warren) Folks, I’m outside the locker room waiting to get the final comments from Scott Kage before he heads to the ring for the Three Way Dance match for the PWR World Television Championship.)
(Kage exits the locker room to a nice set of cheers from the crowd.)
(Stacy Warren) Scott, you're on the way to the ring for your shot at the PWR World Television Title. Your thoughts?
(Scott Kage) Stacy, I don’t have too much to say really. I let my talking be done in the ring. I’m 3-0 since PWR relaunched. As far as I can tell, no one else can say that. It's all about the Television Title here tonight. I’m going to go out there and give it my all against Nardie & Ice Queen. I’m going to prove to everyone that I am the man to beat. You're looking at the new Television Champion. If you'll excuse me Stacy.
(Stacy Warren) Of course.
(Kage walks off, headed toward the ring.)
(Stacy Warren) The finals of the PWR World Television Title tournament, up next! Take it away Chris!
(Camera switches back into the arena and Chris Cash at ringside.)
(Chris Cash) Thanks Stacy! We’ve heard from all the competitors and they all seem motivated to leave the United Center tonight as the new PWR World Television Champion!
(“Coming Undone” by Korn hits and out into the arena comes Scott Kage to a very positive reaction from the crowd!)
(Chris Cash) The only man to be a perfect 3-0 heading into this match is Scott Kage! He has been on a roll thus far beating everyone placed before him, including Ice Queen’s personal choice BB Blayze in the Pick Your Poison matches last show. He has a lot of momentum and we’ll see if he can turn that momentum into championship gold.
(His music cuts off and we transition into “Break the Ice” by Britney Spears as the only female PWR competitor makes her way to the ring.)
(Chris Cash) Ice Queen is one tough bitch. She has been competing with the men from day one here in the PWR and you wouldn’t know it from her results. The only blemish on her record being a loss to the Overtaker in the Pick Your Poison matches. She looks to pick up her second championship here in PWR as she was a former PWR World Tag Team Champion as well.
(She gets into the ring and gets a pretty positive reaction from the crowd. Her music cuts out and the crowd immediately begins to boo knowing who is out next. The SAW Intro plays and then cuts into “Words I Never Said” by Lupe Fiasco and Big Bad Nardie emerges from the back to a shower of boos from the Chicago crowd!)
(Chris Cash) And we know who is not the crowd favorite in this match. Looks like the crowd only cares more about Nardie not winning than pure favoritism for either of his opponents and personally I do not blame them. He has been an absolute bully since the PWR relaunch, assaulting women, threatening me, and pretty much being a pain in everyone’s ass, but I digress. All three competitors are are ready to go, Three Way Dance time!
PWR World Television Championship Tournament Final - Three Way Dance
Scott Kage vs. Ice Queen vs. Big Bad Nardie
This one begins with the three slowly coming towards the center of the ring, they all keep looking at the others and deciding what to do. Suddenly, Queen and Kage unload with a tandem flurry of punches to Nardie and the crowd is loving every minute of it! They back him to the ropes and back up, tandem clothesline to Nardie that sends him crashing to the floor! Queen and Kage have the crowd on their feet, they turn and glare at one another and then come towards the center of the ring. Kage tries to go into a collar and elbow tieup but Queen with a go behind and a rear waistlock applied. She tries to lift him up, but cannot as he blocks it, he lifts her hands up and then knocks her back to the mat with a butt bump! She rolls to her feet but walks right into a picture perfect dropkick from Kage! Cover! 1………2……..Kickout by Queen! He pulls her up, but as she stands Queen connects with a chinbreaker to Kage! He backs off and is leaning against the ropes, Queen goes to the opposite side of the ring and runs at him, he ducks her clothesline attempt and instead back body drops her over the top rope! But Nardie was standing there and instead it became a front flip plancha by Queen to Nardie! Beautiful move there! The only problem for Queen though was that in the process her leg smacked hard against the announce table, she quickly stands up but is walking around very gingerly on that leg. She looks into the ring and sees Kage waiting for her, she slowly gets back into the ring as she tries to move the knee around and get some feeling back into it. They are both in the ring now, Kage sees a weakened opponent and wants to strike while the time presents itself, but he was too aggressive and is met with a drop toe hold from Queen across the middle rope! Queen slowly this time jogs to the other side of the ring and then runs back and leaps across the back of Kage squeezing him between her and that rope. She rolls him on the mat and covers, 1…….2……….Kickout by Kage! Queen pulls Kage up and backs him into the corner, once there she delivers a couple European uppercuts and then climbs to the middle rope, she unloads with eight straight punches to the face but breaks at the ref’s eight count. She hops down and now lifts Kage up, placing him on the top rope. She then climbs up to the middle rope and hooks him for a suplex as the crowd is buzzing with anticipation. She is about to deliver a superplex, but Nardie slides into the ring and runs up behind her, he lifts her off with a powerbomb!! Tower of Doom!! Kage goes 2/3 of the way across the ring via Queen’s superplex and the crowd is going nuts! Nardie hops over and covers Queen! 1…….2………Kickout! He now tries his luck with Kage, 1………2………….Kickout by Kage as well! Nardie pulls Scott to his feet and backs him against the ropes, he whips him across the ring, Kage comes back right into a big knee to the gut that sends him flipping to the mat clutching his stomach in pain. Nardie is focusing on Kage, but from behind the Queen leaps onto his back and is looking to apply a sleeper hold, Nardie is struggling to break it, but he gets both hands on the back of her head and flips her forward hard onto the mat. She rolls up clutching the back in pain and still favoring that left leg, he charges and sends her crashing out to the floor with a big clothesline!! Now only Nardie and Kage are in the ring, Nardie turns to refocus on Kage but Kage was already recovered and instead nails him with a sleek dropkick! Nardie quickly back up but Kage with an armdrag, he holds the arm on the mat but Nardie uses his legs to scissor around Kage’s neck. Kage nips up to get out of it, he stands waiting as Nardie is a little slower to get to his feet. Nardie gets up and the two come together for a tie-up but Nardie instead with a go behind, he releases and delivers a clubbing blow to the upper back of Kage that knocks him down hard on the mat on all fours. Nardie sees this and leaps in the air; he connects with a stiff double foot stomp into the center of Kage’s back! Nardie pulls Kage up to his feet and hooks him from behind, delivering a sharp angled backdrop driver, he drives the back of Kage hard onto the mat! Nardie rolls over onto him with a lateral press. 1……..2………Kickout by Kage! The crowd is trying to rally behind Kage already as Nardie pulls him back up again, Short armed clothesline! Kage’s body was literally bent in half by the force of that move, Nardie with another cover. 1……2……..Kickout! He now hooks the leg for emphasis, 1………2………..Kage shoulders out again! Nardie gets a little frustrated and is trying to intimidate the ref now, he backs him to the corner and is yelling at him, the official maintains his stance that it was a 2 count only. He turns back around and Ice Queen is perched on the top rope she leaps off but Nardie catches her! She is trying to apply a front facelock then time, Nardie is scrambling, he regains composure though and slams her down hard with a sick spinebuster! Cover! 1……..2………….Kickout by Ice Queen! Nardie again is annoyed by the Kickout. He pulls her up and hooks her for a suplex, but she blocks it! Queen with a snap suplex to Nardie! As they hit the mat, Kage comes bouncing off the ropes, big time splash across the chest of Nardie, he stays on for the cover! 1……..2………..Nardie kicks out strong. He rises to his feet, first Kage charges and attempts a shoulder block, but doesn’t budge Nardie! Then Queen charges and tries the same thing, also to no avail! Nardie beats his chest as they both stand side by side, he charges at them now. But they deliver a DOUBLE FLAPJACK TO NARDIE!! He rolls on the mat towards the corner, Kage sees Queen still limping slightly from earlier as she walks towards Nardie, and Kage with a chop block to Queen from behind! He then grabs her legs and applies a half Boston crab, wrenching down hard on the leg of his adversary! Kage is trying to wear her down and make this a two person match now apparently. After a little time, Nardie is up and hops to the second rope; he leaps off and delivers a leg lariat to Kage breaking up the submission hold! He leaves the leg draped across for a cover! 1……….2………..Kage powers out this time! Nardie now rolls onto Kage and applies a sleeper hold with a body scissors and is really synching it in, this has to be taking a toll on his after the brutal match we’ve seen so far. Kage uses a huge burst of energy and rises up to his feet! However, as soon as he does Queen leaps onto Nardie’s back applying a sleeper hold to him as well! Kage cannot hold both of them up and drops to his knees on the mat, Nardie tries to keep the hold locked in, but Queen from behind delivers a double knee breaker into the middle of Nardie’s back!! She may have done more damage to her own knee though as she rolls around the mat in pain and all three are down right here. The crowd is buzzing as the three of them struggle to get up, the ref is not counting as this is an elimination match. Surprisingly the first one to their feet is Scott Kage! He seems to have picked up a second wind, but he’s still holding his back in pain from the damage done on it thus far. He heads over to the corner and ascends to the top rope, he looks down at Nardie who is still flat on his back on the mat. Kage leaps off, and connects with the Last Resort!!! Huge legdrop from the top rope, he gets on Nardie with a cover! 1…………2……………………….Kickout before the count of 3!!!! That was a close one, Kage cannot believe it! He heads over to the corner and starts to tune up the band ala Shawn Michaels, looking for his patented Superkick! Nardie is slowly getting back to his feet, Kage is ready he rears back and kicks the leg, it connects!!! WITH ICE QUEEN!!! Nardie ducked out of the way and Kage instead hit the Superkick on Queen!! Kage turns back around, only to get lifted on Nardie’s shoulders! NARDIE TIME!!! Kage is driven into the mat, Nardie rolls him to his back and slowly makes the cover!! 1…………………….2…………………………………3!!!! SCOTT KAGE IS ELIMINATED BY BIG BAD NARDIE!!! Just like that we are down to two, the former PWR Tag Team Champions, the referee is helping Kage out of the ring and Nardie continues to talk trash to him and pose to boos from the crowd. He stands there when from behind, LOW BLOW BY ICE QUEEN!!! SHE ROLLS UP NARDIE JUST AS THE REFEREE GETS KAGE OUT OF THE RING!! 1…………………2…………………………………..3!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG BAD NARDIE IS ELIMINATED BY ICE QUEEN!!!
Winner by pinfall at 16:21 and NEW PWR World Television Champion – Ice Queen
(Chris Cash) What a wild end to the match there! We went almost sixteen minutes before we saw anyone eliminated from the match and then boom in the span of about thirty seconds it’s over, and Ice Queen emerges victorious! I am not sure if Nardie forgot the rules of the match, but I can’t say I’m disappointed. Karma can be a cruel bitch.
(The camera fades off the celebrating Ice Queen to a backstage shot, where we see the same purple stiletto heels we saw earlier stepping out of the limo walking down a hallway. The camera pans up from the heels to show a form fitting purple dress over a curvaceous body. The camera continues moving up to show the beauty's flowing auburn locks. She gets to a door and turns to face it head on, showing the world what they already knew, the woman was Raven Jones! Raven winks at the camera and opens the door, stepping inside and closing it behind her. The camera moves in front of the door, and we see the name on the door for the first time.)

(The camera comes up inside the arena, focusing on Derek Daniels standing in the ring. The bell rings, and Derek begins to address the crowd.)
(Derek Daniels) Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your main event of the evening! Scheduled for one fall, it is for the PWR World Heavyweight Championship!
(The crowd cheers the announcement from Daniels but it quickly turns to boos as “Let Me Entertain You” by Robbie Williams would start to play over the loudspeakers, and into the arena steps Chaos Kid!)
(Chris Cash) The time is finally here wrestling fans, the moment we've all been waiting for! It's time to crown a new PWR World Heavyweight Champion! Here comes the man who most recently held the gold, Chaos Kid! CK, always brash with his words, but he certainly backs it all up in the ring. He's defeated two stalwarts since the relaunch in Duncan McCloud and The Executioner and in doing my research, I want to remind you all that Chaos Kid is UNDEFEATED in PWR! He has never lost in a PWR ring, and he'll look to keep that streak alive here tonight.
(CK makes his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and into the squared circle. CK starts to head to his corner as his theme music dies down. In the silence, the overwhelmingly biased Chicago crowd would start to buzz. Rising to their feet, they would begin to chant “Punk” over and over.)
(Chris Cash) The roof is going to blow off this place! I don’t think I’ve ever heard an arena this loud before!
(After what seemed like an eternity, the opening guitar riff of AC/DC's seminal classic “Back In Black” would blare out over the PA and the crowd exploded in cheers! A few moments pass before Chicago's own, PK Punk ran through the curtain and into the arena for the first time, leading to a massive pop from the crowd!)
(Chris Cash) Wow, what an ovation for PK Punk! Punk with a change in the theme music and a slight alteration to the attire tonight, paying homage to a favorite of his, the late Chris Candido, who would have turned 40 this week.
(The crowd would chant “No Gimmicks Needed” was Punk would urge them on, as he made his way down the ramp.)
(Chris Cash) The pure emotional high from this moment is something to be seen! This is one of the more amazing hometown advantages I’ve ever witnessed!
(Punk finally gets to the ring, marches up the steps and makes his way down the apron. Punk steps through the ropes and into the ring, quickly leaping up onto the middle rope, getting the crowd even more hyped up. Punk jumps down, turning in his corner to face the man across the ring from him. Derek Daniels once again steps to the center of the ring, and begins to address the crowd.)
(Derek Daniels) Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first; weighing in at 232 pounds, he is the former PWR World Heavyweight Champion, CHAOS KID!
(CK would step forward, pointing his finger at Daniels, scolding him for his egregious error.)
(Derek Daniels) And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 186 pounds, P... K... PUNK!
(The crowd pops massively once again for their hometown kid, as the referee shows the PWR World Championship to both competitors before holding it high for all to see.)
(Chris Cash) This is it! Let's see who'll leave Chicago with the gold! There's the bell, and the main event of Second City Showdown is underway!

Winner by pinfall at 35:30 and NEW PWR World Champion - Chaos Kid
(Chris Cash) Much to the chagrin of this Chicago crowd, Chaos Kid has just become the PWR World Heavyweight Champion for a second time in a scintillating matchup! What a show these two put on! I for one, don’t think this is the last time we'll see these two tangle! Fans, we are out of time! Thank you for joining us here in Chicago for Second City Showdown! For everyone in PWR, I'm Chris Cash, good night from Chicago!
(The camera fades to black as Chaos Kid celebrates with his newly won PWR World Championship.)
