(Chris Cash) Welcome to Full Throttle! There are no major professional sports teams within the state of Kansas so we have center stage! Chris Cash here and might I say that we are going to be full of wrestling action tonight. The semi-finals of both division's Franchise Cup take place as well as a huge meeting with Scott Kage and Mary-Jane Montez! So much going on including two huge matches in the Franchise Cup as Primetime Punisher takes on Shane Montez and Yelder takes on Yelder as Terrell locks horns with PWR International Champion, Marcus. A lot to look forward to but right now, the first defense of the PWR International Tag Team Championships is about to begin!
PWR International Tag Team Championship Match
(ch)Bad News Bully & Michael Cook vs Andrew Stratton & Matt Flash
Kansas is in for a real treat tonight as the PWR International Tag Team Titles are on display tonight! Winner takes all here as the straps are on the line. "Image of the Invisible" by Thrice begins to play as the challengers make their way to the ring. Flash and Stratton are a superb team and they showed their in-ring acumen at our last PPV when they gave Team America everything they could handle. Now, they take on the team that eliminated Team America and eventually went on to win the tag team titles. Flash and Stratton enter the ring as "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five takes over the PA system! The PWR International Tag Team Champions are making their way out. Bad News Bully leads the way with Michael Cook a few steps behind, with a minuscule limp. It is under good authority that Mike Cook pulled his ACL during a training session for this match. His doctors are not happy with his decision but he is a fighting champion. BNB and Cook get to the ring and slide in as Flash and Stratton leave the ring for them to occupy alone. Both champions take their title belts off and hand them to the man in charge signifying the closeness of the start of this match! The referee hoists the tag titles high in the air as Matt Flash stands on the apron while Stratton slides into the ring. Both teams nod and the referee makes the exchange of the belts to the time keeper and then calls for the bell! This tag team opener is underway! Bully signals to Cook that he will start this match for his team and Cook happily obliges. BNB and Stratton circle one another around the ring and come together for a lock-up! BNB uses his strength to his advantage, overpowering Andrew. BNB backs Stratton into the ropes and immediately whips Stratton off the ropes and across the ring! Stratton rebounds and BNB ducks down and takes Stratton up and over with a huge back body drop! Stratton lands hard and pops back to his feet. BNB turns around and takes Stratton back down with a hip toss and then follows it up into a rest hold; a side headlock to be exact. BNB uses his control to pull Stratton to his feet and towards the champions' corner. Bully reaches over and Cook makes the tag. Michael enters the ring and hops onto the second rope. He leaps off and connects with a double axehandle smash to the back of one-half of the challengers. Stratton drops to his knees as Cook lets him see no daylight and hooks him with a side headlock of his own. Cook pulls Andrew up and back towards his corner. Mike reaches over and makes the tag to the man from Chulo Vista. Cook double chickenwings Stratton's arms as Bully enters the ring and catches Stratton square in the gut with the point of his toe! The referee warns both men for the double teaming and Bully goes back to work on the fallen Stratton. Bully stands Stratton up and catches him with a knee to the gut. Stratton doubles over and Bully hooks him for a suplex and the drives him down with a facebuster! BNB makes the cover, 1……2……Matt Flash with the save on the first pinfall of the match! The referee moves Flash back to his corner as Bully continues to work over Stratton. Bully stands Stratton up to his feet and hits the ropes. Bully comes right back at Stratton and takes him down with a clothesline into a backbreaker; a version of a move called Maximum Bosh! Stratton holds his head as Bully makes another cover, 1……2……KICKOUT by Stratton! Stratton is down and Bully stands to his feet. Bully runs over and tags in Mike Cook! Mike runs to a corner as Bully moves to the corner facing Cook. Both are now perched on the top rope, what's going to happen? Bully leaps off, Macho Man style flying elbow drop! Right to the heart of the challenger! Cook steadies himself as Bully rolls out of the ring and leaps off; Shawn Michaels style elbow drop! Again to the heart of Stratton! Cook goes to make the cover, 1……2……Flash makes the save, pulling on the bad leg of Cook. The referee backs Matt back to his corner as Cook gets back to his feet gingerly, showing symptoms of aggravating that pulled ACL. Quite possibly, he could have done it from that magnificent elbow drop to the chest of his opponent. Cook bends down and pulls Stratton up to his feet, grimacing with the weight put on his knee. Stratton is a ragdoll and Cook may look for something big to put Stratton out! Cook doubles Stratton over and muscles Stratton up for a powerbomb! Cook looks to slam Stratton down; his knee gives way! Stratton lands on top of Cook in a pinning predicament, 1......2……BNB comes in and makes the save! Stratton rolls over to his feet and sees Cook laying prone in the ring, holding his knee. Stratton takes great advantage of it; standing Moonsault across the knee! Stratton gets up and rolls towards his corner. Stratton makes the tag to Matt Flash and Flash goes to the top rope. Matt stands for a second and leaps off with a huge frog splash against the knee alone of Michael Cook! Cook screams out in pain as Bully riles the crowd up behind him and his partner. Flash rolls over and pins Michael Cook, 1……2……BNB saves the day again! How many more times can Bully save the tag championships? Flash gets up to his feet and pulls Cook up with him; Flash squarely kicks Cook in the knee, sending him down to the mat. Flash pulls him back up and hoists him up on his shoulders; could be looking for Flash in the Pain! Flash has him up and Cook has no chance to get out! Flash looks to take him down with it; Cook slips out. Flash turns around and in one felt swoop Cook connects with a superkick! Both men fall flat on their backs, one knocked out and one writhing in pain. The referee refuses to count, knowing that this match needs a winner! Cook crawls and scraps to the corner, looking for his teammate. Flash moves twice as slow as Cook, feeling the effects of the flash superkick. Tags are made! In comes Bully! In comes Stratton! Bully and Stratton go to blows! Rights being thrown by Bully connecting squarely on the jaw of Andrew! Bully gets Stratton woozy and leaps up; Ghetto Gamma! Stratton falls in a heap and Bully gets up to his feet! He sees Cook in the corner begging for the tag to get some redemption. Stratton is out cold, Flash is still reeling from the superkick. Bully is struggling, seemingly making a life-altering decision in his head on whether or not to let his partner back in. Bully shakes his head and makes the tag. Cook gets in and hobbles over to Stratton. His knee goes out and he falls on the mat. Stratton is up and sees Cook down. Stratton rolls Cook up as Bully poses to the crowd, 1……2……3! Bully sees the tag belts come to the ring and he is all smiles!
Winners by pinfall at 12:44 and NEW PWR International Tag Team Champions - Andrew Stratton & Matt Flash
(Bully turns around and looks in the ring, seeing his tag team titles being handed over to his opponents. Bully enters the ring and runs the new champions out of the ring as he looks at his tag team partner, wondering what went wrong.)
(Chris Cash) The Bad News Bully looks like a beaten puppy. Victory was in sight. The Ghetto Gamma connected as flush as possible and because of a moment of weakness by his partner, his first title reign here in PWR lasts an amazing one defense. Cook probably has no sense of reality right now and just wants to get that knee worked on.
(Camera cuts backstage and shows Corporate Crusher alone in his locker room, taping his wrists.)
(Corporate Crusher) One more night. Last week, my opponent made a personal decision. He decided that walking out or being fired was more important than getting his ass handed to him by me. Now, Greggs, you have the same choice. You want to pull the same card Corky pulled or do you want to man up? Take on a living, breathing legend? Take on a stellar athlete that has stood the test of time for over half a decade in this business? The choice is yours Greggs. Time to step up and be a man or you will be made famous!
(The camera changes to the face of Sheldon McPants.)
(Sheldon McPants) I'm standing by with the recently retired "Face of Professional Wrestling"… "The Face" Nick Davis. Face, this is likely my last interview, since I am your personal interviewer… any final words to your fans?
("The Face" Nick Davis) Well, actually, Shel –
(Suddenly Greggs walks into view as The Face stops talking.)
(Greggs) Well, well, well… if it isn't The Geriatric Wonder… Mr. Retired… I didn't recognize you without your walker and a career, Face. What a shame! Oh, well… have fun watching me compete tonight. You can see what you'll miss for the rest of your life, chump!
(Greggs leaves as The Face just smirks at him.)
(Sheldon McPants) Sorry about that, Face. That was quite uncalled for.
("The Face" Nick Davis) No, Sheldon. He's right. If you walk the walk, you can talk the talk. Unfortunately for him though… I'll have a much better view of his match tonight than he thinks.
(The Face removes his warm-up jacket to reveal a referee shirt.)
("The Face" Nick Davis) And that, Sheldon… that's how I roll.
(The Face walks away as Sheldon McPants is left in shock and the camera fades outside.)
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Chris Cash) Welcome back to PWR Full Throttle folks. What a matchup coming up next, perhaps the biggest surprise on the ID side, Greggs will take on the multiple time World Champion, Corporate Crusher. Let's get to the ring!
International Bracket Semifinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
Corporate Crusher vs Greggs
"Time for a Fight" by Three 6 Mafia hits over the PA and out walks Greggs. Definitely one of the big surprises since signing on with PWR's International Division, and with a win here, he could make a big splash in the finals of the Guerrero Franchise Cup. Greggs makes his way into the ring, and stands facing the stage, awaiting his opponent. Corporate Crusher's entrance video plays over the big screen, but he's nowhere to be found. Crusher doesn't have entrance music, the simple man that he is, but something appears to be up here.
(Chris Cash) Just a moment, I'm getting word, let's get that camera to the back!!
(Camera transitions backstage, to show a bloodied and unconscious Corporate Crusher laid out!)
(Chris Cash) Who could have done this? Let's get some medical attention back there! Was that the bell?
(The bell rings and the referee begins his ten count.)
(Chris Cash) Come on! Crusher's not going to be able to answer this count! He's going to lose his chance!
(The referee reaches ten and calls for the bell, awarding the match to Greggs!)
Winner by forfeit at 0:10 - Greggs
(Chris Cash) We need to find out just what happened back there, while we get this straightened out, let's head backstage to Chris Craven, who is standing by.
(Camera goes to the back, where we see Chris Craven standing in front of his locker room door with a microphone.)
(Chris Craven) Tonight, I face one of the biggest challengers in my career, The Executioner. Tonight I will make history once again. Everyone had their doubts about me beating Flash and Shane Donovan. But I proved them wrong and tonight I'm going to beat the hell out of The Executioner. I am going to the finals to battle either PTP or Shane Montez. I will dominate them too and I will go on and be the Franchise Cup Champion. I will mark my path of "execution" and I will become PWR World Champion soon enough!
(Camera transitions to another location in the arena, where we see The Executioner standing by.)
(The Executioner) Two weeks ago it was Paul Pain. Last week it was Scott Kage, and tonight its none other than Chris Craven. I've been hearing so much garbage about Chris Craven this and Chris Craven that. He beat Flash and Donovan, wow what a big accomplishment, congratulations Craven. But tonight is the end of the road for you my friend. Tonight The Executioner will advance to the Finals of this Franchise Cup. So Chris Craven, this one is short and sweet, watch out for that Execution, because both Pain and Kage know exactly how dangerous that move is. Chris Craven you are yet to witness the Excellence of The Executioner!
(Chris Cash) Both of these young guns in PWR look very ready, and tonight one will take a huge step up the ladder toward the top in this company. But who will it be? The Executioner, or Chris Craven? To the ring for this huge Franchise Cup Semifinal Match!
Classic Bracket Quarterfinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
The Executioner vs Chris Craven
"I'm Spitfire" by The Prodigy hits over the PA and out from the back walks The Executioner! Exie is looking to make his biggest splash to date here in PWR, after coming back from the former PWR Developmental Fed, the UTF. Exie is a former Rated R Champion, but he's looking for a shot at a bigger opportunity here tonight. Exie makes his way into the ring, and takes to his corner as "Dolla" by Fort Minor hits over the PA, and out walks maybe one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises here in the Franchise Cup Tournament, Chris Craven! Craven has really vaulted his name up in the rankings and should be a consistent contender for titles in the months to come. Craven stares down The Executioner as he makes his way into the ring. Craven takes to his corner, and the referee calls for the bell, and this match is on! Exie and Craven circle the ring, sizing each other up, up close for the first time, and they lock up with a collar and elbow tie up. Exie quickly grabs a side headlock, using his distinct power advantage. Exie wrenching down, he's got a vise like grip on Craven's cranium. Craven pushes Exie to the ropes, looking to shoot Exie into the ropes on the opposite side, but Exie stalls out the attempt and keeps that headlock tight. Exie drops to a knee and takes Craven down with a side headlock takeover. Craven's shoulders on the mat, referee into position, 1 ……… Craven picks his shoulder up off the mat, breaking the count. Exie using his weight to hold Craven down, he may be a little high up, Craven counters rolling Exie back onto his shoulders into a pinning predicament! Referee with the count, 1 ……… Exie kicks his legs back over and gets back into the dominant position. That roll from Craven allowed him to get in a better position, and he tries to make his way up to his feet. Craven to his knees, and he stands up! Exie still holding the headlock, but he quickly transitions to a rear waistlock. Exie picks Craven up, going for a back suplex, but Craven rolls out the back! Craven lands on his feet behind Exie and he hooks Exie and takes him over with a big time German suplex! Exie down and holding the back of his head, Craven with the quick lateral press, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Executioner! Craven quickly pulls Exie back to his feet and lays in a series of stiff knife-edge chops to the exposed chest of Executioner! Exie staggers back to the ropes, and Craven grabs an arm, Irish whip in, Exie off the opposite side ropes, Craven leaps up and connects with a spinning back elbow! Exie down to the mat once again! Craven pops back to his feet and walks over to Exie and pulls him back to a standing base. Craven grabs a gutwrench and takes Exie up to a side position and drops him with a backbreaker! Craven covers and hooks the leg, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Exie! Craven showing no hesitation, pulling Exie toward the corner, he gets him in the position he wants, and he begins his ascent of the ropes! Craven going for a moonsault, throwing caution to the wind and Craven comes crashing down across the knees of The Executioner! Exie brought the knees up and Craven is now paying dearly for the high-risk move! Exie grabs onto the ropes and pulls himself up, shaking out some of the damage already done, and he walks over to the fallen Chris Craven. Craven holding his stomach, and he could have some broken ribs here! On that moonsault, you can't really see where you're gonna land until it's almost too late! Exie connects with a punt-like kick to the midsection of Craven, sending him over the bottom rope and out of the ring! Exie quickly out of the ring and down to the floor, following after Craven. Exie pulls Craven up by the hair and picks him up in a gorilla style press, and Exie drops Craven over the guardrail gut first! The Executioner is really showing us his unbridled ruthlessness here tonight! Craven holding his midsection, in absolute agony here, and I think we have to wonder right here and now if maybe this match should be stopped. Exie rolls back under the bottom rope to break the referee's count, and then back out to go after Craven once again. Exie pulls Craven to his feet and turns him toward the ring apron. Exie going to roll Craven… no, he shoves Craven into the ring apron stomach first! The Executioner is unrelenting! Craven slumps down on the side of the ring, and Exie grabs him and rolls him back under the ropes and into the ring. Exie follows him in, crawling over and making a lateral press, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Chris Craven! I thought the cover by Exie was kind of nonchalant, but I still think it might have been enough, considering the punishment Craven has taken, but he shows his fortitude and kicks out! It just shows what a shot at the PWR World Championship means to everyone. It's Craven continuing in a match when he knows he might be injured. It means that much. Exie back on the offense, he pulls Craven to his feet and hooks him in a standing head scissors. Powerbomb on the way! Exie lifts Craven into the air, going for that Fire Starter Powerbomb! Exie pushes Craven up off his shoulders and he may have used too much power because Craven plants his feet right on the chin of Executioner! Exie just too much power going for that elevated powerbomb, and it allowed Craven to connect with a brilliant counter! Craven slow getting to his feet, he walks over to Exie who is still a little shaken, and connects with a knee right into the mush! Exie falls over back down to the mat and Craven goes for a quick cover, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Exie! Exie using all his might to throw Craven off of him! Craven back over to Exie, and grabs him by the hair and pulls him to his feet. Craven hooks Exie and connects with a belly-to-belly suplex! Craven is feeling it here, he's got that adrenaline pumping, and he's not feeling the pain right now! Craven over to Exie and he's laying in wait right behind him, looking to hit the Craven DDT! Craven looking to put it away right here! Exie stands up and turns back toward Craven, Craven with a boot to the midsection, he hooks the head and he hits the Craven DDT! This has got to be it! Craven with the hook of the leg, 1 ……… 2 ……… Exie gets his foot on the ropes! Craven can't believe it! That could prove to be a fatal mistake for Craven there! Craven pulls Exie to his feet and takes him up on his shoulders, looking for the Craven Lock! Craven struggling to hold Exie up, the beating Craven's midsection took earlier could be playing a part here! Craven's weakened midsection can't hold the mass of The Executioner! Exie slides off the back of Craven, Craven turns and Exie hits the Execution! Craven is down and looks to be out, Exie with the cover, 1 ……… 2 ……… 3!! And just like that, this one is over! Executioner moves on to the finals of the Classic Bracket of the 2007 Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup!
Winner by pinfall at 12:54 - The Executioner
(Chris Cash) That match definitely lived up to it's hype! What a match, and unfortunately for Mr. Craven, he's come up just a bit short. The Executioner places his name in the finals of the Classic Bracket, and now he will face the winner of the Shane Montez/Primetime Punisher match later on tonight. Either way it shakes out, the finals on the Classic side is going to be a great match. Wait, what's this?
("Keep Away" by Godsmack begins to play over the announcement system in the arena. The crowd comes to their feet, looking up at the stage. A moment of goes by and finally the curtains are pushed forward and out from the back steps Scott Kage. He stands at the top of the stage looking out at the crowd. He is dressed in a pair of black jeans and a plain white shirt. He walks down to the ramp and seems to be focused as he ignores the fans at ringside, with whom he usually interacts. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and walks over to the steel steps. Up the steps, onto the apron, he pushes the middle rope down and enters the ring. Scott walks over to the ring announcer, and takes the microphone away from him. Scott walks back to the center of the ring, looking directly in the camera direction, he motions for his music to cut. When it finally does he raises the mic up to his lips and begins to speak.)
(Scott Kage) Last week in the middle of this ring, it was a historic moment for a young man in PWR, and for the history of PWR for that matter. Last week, we saw Scott Kage take on The Executioner in a classic bout. Many near falls, no one knew how the match would end. Then the end of the match came, which saw The Executioner do the one thing which no one else in PWR had been able to do so far... what he did was... pin me. The Executioner had ended my steak of not being pinned or made to submit. I am not out here to make excuses for it because there is none; I just felt the little bit of history was needed for those who missed last week because tonight will be yet another historic moment. I have been in PWR since the start and for the longest time just sat back and did nothing. I then began making an impact, and the impact I was making got over with all you people. You cheered me going up against the evil Circle of the Black Thorn. Well, I see this is where I made the huge mistake. The more I heard the cheers from you people the more I began to think I was moving in the right direction. How stupid could I be to think that though, is what I ask myself now. This all just seems to be coming out wrong. Let me just be straightforward. I am not telling you people I don't give a crap about what you think anymore; I am not going to make up some new gimmick for you people to hate me now. What I am doing is informing you people and all the boys in the back... and girls... that the gimmick of Scott Kage is DEAD!!! This is where I went wrong using a gimmick to get over. So as of now no one is to ever refer to me as Scott Kage again. Instead you can come to me, calling me by my true name Antonio Stevens. No more hiding behind a gimmick, no more limits to what I can do in the ring due to a stupid gimmick. What this allows me to do now is truly go all out tonight against Mary-Jane Montez and prove to the world that I am...the person...who should be... holding… the … World... Heavyweight... Championship.
(Antonio Stevens drops the mic and just gives a stare into the camera for a few seconds. A stunned crowd not sure what to think remains silent. Antonio Stevens walks to the corner, and stands there, as we pick up comments from Chris Cash.)
(Chris Cash) Well, what I am getting is that Scott Ka... er, Antonio Stevens has decided that he's taken the Scott Kage gimmick as far as he could. He's now going back to his real name, and he's not out for anyone but himself. He's made it very clear that it's World Championship or bust, and he can take a huge step, if he can defeat Mary-Jane Montez here tonight. And we'll find out if he can, when we come back. Stay with us!
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Chris Cash) Welcome back to Full Throttle fans. Before we get to our next match, let's head back to the locker room of The Circle.
(We cut to the Circle of the Black Thorn locker room where the
Circle is sitting around hanging out. Shane Montez is surfing the internet on his laptop. The Executioner enters the room.)
(Mavick) What can we do for you?
(The Executioner) I'm here to pay my $1,000.
(Shane Montez) Oh damn, I forgot about the bet. Let me pull up the results real quick.
(Christopher Paige) I'll save you the trouble. I won my match in under 3 minutes.
(Terrell Yelder) If I remember correctly you didn't have a match.
(Christopher Paige) I wrestled on Overload.
(Mavick) Yeah, but the bet was for matches on Full Throttle. Your Overload match doesn't count.
(Christopher Paige) That's BS! I want my money back then.
(Terrell Yelder) All bets are final.
(Shane Montez) Well look at this. There was a tie. Looks like Terrell and I are splitting the money.
(The Executioner) Here's the money I owe you.
(Shane Montez) You know what. Keep it. Let's just say you owe me one now.
(Christopher Paige) What the hell? He gets to keep his money but I don't get mine back?
(Marcus K. Yelder) Come on. Just give him his money.
(Terrell Yelder) If you want him to have his money back why don't you give it to him? Cause he isn't getting a damn thing from me.
(The Executioner) Yeah well, I'm going to go before Shane changes him mind about taking my money.
(The Executioner walks out of the room as Lizzie McFadden walks
in.)
(Lizzie McFadden) Hello gentlemen.
(MJM) What bitch?
(Lizzie McFadden) I mean lady and gentlemen.
(MJM) That's what I thought.
(Lizzie McFadden) Mavick shall we start with you this week?
(Mavick) You know what? I'm not talking to anyone but my Stacy.
(Lizzie McFadden) Alright then.
(MJM) Everyone knows that you want to try and get Shane to talk about Seth and the whole financial backer issue. I for one, am not going to listen to it. I've got a match. I'm out.
(MJM leaves as Lizzie continues.)
(Lizzie McFadden) Fine, let's do that. After what you said last week I did some digging. And I found some evidence that leans towards what
Synyster was claiming is true.
(Shane Montez) What is that?
(Lizzie McFadden) I have discovered some copies of checks to Synyster from Seth.
(Shane Montez) Look, I didn't want to talk bad about my own family but it looks like I'm going to have to do just that. Everyone knows that
back in the day we all ran around together. Everywhere we went it was a huge party. Limos, alcohol, drugs & bitches. Get to a new city same damn thing. You know that's not cheap and Seth paid for a whole lot of it. So you tell me. Does it make sense that the biggest partier of them all was able to save his money? Or does it make more sense that the guy that didn't just think about today, the guy that thought about
the future and saved his money while everyone around him paid for everything had enough money to start up Montez Corp and financially back the PWR and whatever else he wanted too? Seth retired damn near broke so I hired him to run Montez Corp while I am away doing what it is that I do. So yes, Seth did cut the checks to Synyster that helped get PWR up and running. But it was with my money. So is Seth the
financial backer, no. You're looking at the man whose money opened up this place.
(Lizzie McFadden) So why would your own brother show up on TV like he did?
(Shane Montez) Why? Seth likes to pop up here and there from time to time to get that pop from the crowd. So there you have it. The truth
is out. I don't want to hear anything else about this financial backer issue.
(Lizzie McFadden) Well there you go, Shane Montez insists that Synyster and Seth are liars and he is indeed the financial backer that helped
PWR get started. Back to you Chris.
(The scene fades as Lizzie McFadden leaves the room.)
(Chris Cash) Thanks Lizzie. It looks like Shane and the crew are sticking to their guns. One day, the truth is going to come out about this whole thing, and I don't think it's going to be the reason Shane seems to think is the truth. Right now, we got MJM and Antonio Stevens, let's get to this important match.
Singles Match
Mary-Jane Montez vs Antonio Stevens
The New Blood/Circle of the Black Thorn feud continues as our next contest gets underway. "Basket Case" by Green Day begins to play as the first ever two-time PWR World Champion, Mary-Jane Montez, makes her way to the ring. Tonight, she has a big challenge in store for herself as she takes on a legitimate championship contender in the former Scott Kage. MJM enters the ring as "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack plays as the man known Antonio Stevens. Stevens sprints down to the ring and MJM stands her ground. Stevens slides into the ring head first and MJM starts to back away in shock! Stevens gets up to his feet and goes full bore towards the lady Montez. MJM responds with a flurry of short jabs that do nothing but infuriate the former Scott Kage! Stevens starts to retaliate with a kick to the midsection before backing MJM against the ropes and off to the other side. MJM rebounds and Stevens is there waiting with a big back body drop! MJM hangs in the air and drops to the mat in a heap! Stevens pulls MJM back up to her feet and backs her off the ropes again. Stevens sends her across; MJM rebounds and Stevens is there waiting, this time for a hip toss. Stevens handsprings through the hip toss and dropkicks MJM shortly after! The crowd is really into this match already as Stevens makes the first attempt at a win, 1……2……kickout by the former PWR World Champion! Stevens gets up to his feet and pulls MJM to her feet. Stevens goes to follow up with his offense but MJM halts his process with a quick rake at the eyes! Stevens staggers away and MJM looks to take swift advantage of this; roll up! Stevens is down and MJM has the tights, 1……2……Stevens kicks out! MJM gets up with Stevens not too far behind. MJM takes him down with a double leg and she floats over into a folding press; her feet are on the ropes for another cover, 1……2……kickout again! MJM gets up and is irate! MJM sits Stevens up on the mat and drives her knee square into his spine before clamping on a rear chinlock! Stevens is in the middle of the ring as the lady Montez applies a severe amount of torque on his neck! The crowd here starts to rally behind Mr. Stevens as Antonio stomps his heel on the mat. After about a good 20 seconds on the mat, Stevens starts to get to his feet. Mary-Jane gets look of worry on her face as Antonio is working against her technique. Stevens finally gets up and throws three consecutive elbows to her breadbasket before hitting the ropes. Stevens rebounds and heads towards MJM but she counters! Lou Thesz Press into the Hatchet Face! The referee struggles to get in between the two before finally using his five count. He gets a hair away from five before MJM gets up and holds her right hand to his face, reminding him how many seconds she has to break the hold. Stevens rolls around on the mat, holding his face as MJM slowly stalks around him. Stevens gets over onto his stomach and MJM pounces again, this time with an Oklahoma Roll! MJM gets his shoulders down and the referee makes the count, 1……2……kickout again by Stevens. The fans go wild as he kicks out again. MJM gets up and tries to quiet the crowd but that only makes them louder! MJM pulls Stevens up to his feet only to slam him down to the mat with a bodyslam! Mary-Jane swiftly moves to the corner and makes her way to the top. She is perched and leaps off, Crazy Train! Stevens is out and MJM lays on top of Stevens with a lackluster cover, 1……2……kickout again by Stevens! MJM looks at the referee with a look of anger on her face, as if to question the speed or legitimacy of the count. The referee reassures her that the count was legit and that it was only a two! MJM bends down and pulls Stevens up to his feet as the crowd chants "Tonio!" MJM takes Stevens down with a double leg and then mounts Stevens and starts driving a ton of punches down onto the head of Stevens, after a four count, the ref has to physically pull MJM off of Antonio and into the center of the ring. As the referee does this, it takes Stevens a few moments to recover and rise to his feet in the corner. He once again limps out to the center of the ring, MJM walks up to him and Antonio kicks her in the gut! MJM catches his leg and then is laughing at the pathetic attempt! Stevens then uses his other leg to jump up and kick MJM right IN THE JAW!! MJM falls down and Stevens nips up to his feet, limping around from a awkward landing from the kick. He goes over to MJM and kicks her square in the back. MJM rolls onto her stomach and Stevens follows up with several stomps down across the back of Mary-Jane. Stevens now trying to weaken a part of MJM; Stevens kneels down and delivers six consecutive forearm shots to the middle of MJM's back. He grabs MJM by the tights and pulls her up to her feet. MJM was playing opossum though!! She turns and connects with a huge right hand to the jaw of Stevens! She delivers three more and backs him to the ropes; MJM whips him across the ring and flips him up and over with a back body drop! Stevens landed on his feet and turns around quick, grabbing MJM from behind and runs to the ropes. Antonio rolls back, but MJM holds the ropes and then climbs to the outside of the ring. MJM is trying to think of what to do as Stevens has started to counter her attacks. She goes over and gets a chair from the time keeper and slides in and threatens to hit Stevens with it, but instead sets it down and then kicks Stevens in the testicles when the ref looked away. MJM then hits the ropes and comes back with a devastating chop block to the knee!! Stevens falls to the mat in a heap, MJM rolls him to his back and then turns the legs over, FIGURE FOUR!!! This move is focused right on the knee that Stevens torqued earlier in the match. Stevens is writhing in pain, the ref turns around and is checking to see if Stevens wants to tap. Stevens is laying there, both shoulders are down. 1……2……He sits up to break the count. Stevens now is trying to turn over to reverse the pressure......... he rolls over to his stomach!!!! But MJM rolled with him to get back to his back in a full roll! BUT SHE ROLLED STEVENS RIGHT INTO THE ROPES!! STEVENS GRABS THEM!!! MJM releases after three counts from the ref and can see the damage has been done, he pulls Stevens up to his feet and sees the end is near. She taunts the crowd and they are booing as this one is academic from here. Stevens gets up to his feet with all he can muster and connects with an elbow, another, ANOTHER, ANOTHER!!! He locks in the half nelson; Stevens looks for a half nelson suplex! MJM flips through and grabs Stevens from behind with the LAST BREATH! MJM hops on Stevens back and pulls him down to the mat. This choke sleeper is devastating as MJM has mastered this. Stevens tries to fight and crawl to the ropes but every time he does, she rolls and puts him out of position. Stevens starts to fade and the referee checks the arm of Stevens. The referee raises the arm and it drops, ONE! The referee does the same thing again and it drops, TWO! The referee checks the arm once again and it drops, NO! STEVENS KEEPS HIS ARM UP! MJM applies a hint of pressure to the choke and Stevens arm drops for a third time! MJM wins!
Winner by submission at 13:46 - Mary-Jane Montez
(Chris Cash) Well it looks like the re-invention of Scott Kage didn't get off to the greatest start, as MJM submits him. Back to the drawing board for Antonio Stevens. Let's head back to PTP, who has some comments regarding his upcoming contest against Shane Montez.
(Camera switches backstage to Primetime Punisher.)
(Primetime Punisher) So far, in the Eddie Guerrero Tournament, I am 2-0. Skullman and Jericho Kane have fallen to the wrath of Primetime Punisher. Up next is you, Shane Montez. This will be a classic match that everybody wants to see that features two Hall of Famers. We battled last year that ended in a countout. This time, there will be a winner. I have a lot of respect for you Shane, but tonight, Primetime
Punisher will be victorious.
(Camera comes back inside the arena, and to Chris Cash.)
(Chris Cash) Well, this is definitely a match that will go down in the books. Who will go on to face The Executioner in the Classic Bracket Finals? Let's get to the ring and find out!
Classic Bracket Semifinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
Primetime Punisher vs Shane Montez
This next contest has all the possibility to be a match of the year candidate, and we're getting it for free, right here on Full Throttle! "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses hits over the PA and out walks the reigning PWR Pure Wrestling Champion, Primetime Punisher! PTP has proven himself to be one of the top dogs time and time again here in PWR, being the only man to capture both the World and Pure Championships. PTP makes his way to the ring, shaking hands with some of the fans along the aisle way as he moves toward the ring. PTP climbs in and heads up on the buckles to pose for the fans. PTP holds his Pure Championship high for all to see, before hopping down and taking to his corner. PTP stands facing the stage, as "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin hits over the PA and out walks the current PWR Rated R and one half of the PWR World Tag Team Champions, Shane Montez! Shane looks smug as ever as he makes his way down the ramp, as he hears the jeers from the fans here in Wichita. Montez makes his way into the ring and removes both of his belts, and places them in his corner. The referee quickly sends the ringside attendant over to pick them up and place them on the timekeepers' table. Shane doesn't look too happy about that, he was probably planning on using them sometime in this match! The referee rings the bell and our 2nd semifinal match is on! The winner will face The Executioner, next week! These two legends are no strangers to one another, but this is only the 2nd time that they are facing off in a PWR ring. PTP and Shane take a couple of steps toward the center of the ring, and begin circling. After a brief period of sizing each other up, they lock up mid-ring. Shane quickly throws off the lockup and lifts a knee into the stomach of PTP. PTP hunches over and Shane quickly connects with a series of clubbing forearms to the back of the head of PTP, dropping him to a knee. Shane quickly bounces off the ropes, and drives his knee right into the side of PTP's head! PTP spins down to the mat, and he could be out of it right now! That was an absolutely brutal shot by Shane Montez! Shane stands back, admiring his handiwork, waiting for PTP to get to his feet. PTP works himself to his knees, and Shane quickly sneaks in and goes for an Oklahoma roll, clinching his hands, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by PTP! Very, very close on that there, PTP narrowly getting the shoulder up! This is almost a shock, how this match has started out. Quick, high paced offense from Shane and nearly getting the pinfall here in the opening minutes. Shane is back to his feet now and he walks over to PTP and grabs him by the hair and pulls him to his feet. Shane throws PTP over the middle rope, and drapes his neck across. Shane brings up a knee and puts it on the back of PTP, and this is a chokehold here! The referee admonishes Shane, and invokes his count, and Shane breaks it on four. Shane knows what's on the line in this match; he's going to get away with as much rulebreaking as he can, but without forcing the referee to disqualify him. PTP falls back off the ropes, holding his throat, which could be seriously damaged! PTP using the ropes now to pull himself to his feet and uses the top rope to brace himself for a moment, but Shane will have none of that! Shane runs and leaps over the top rope and hangs PTP over! Shane Montez ruthless in his attack here tonight! Shane snapping the neck of PTP over that rope, and the focus now has to turn to can PTP continue? Not to mention how seriously he could be hurt! Shane slides back into the ring, and places his forearm over the throat of PTP as he makes his cover, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by PTP! The ever-resilient PTP kicks out! Shane locks on a neck vise from the rear position on PTP! This could be the end here! PTP's neck and throat has already taken a good deal of damage here tonight, can he hold out long enough here to make a decent attempt at an escape? Shane really cranking on PTP's neck, and PTP is trying to rally the fans behind him now! The crowd is chanting "PTP, PTP, PTP" and he's starting to feel it! PTP standing up now, he turns to the side and connects with an elbow to the midsection of Montez! PTP with another, and another and Shane lets go of the hold! PTP attempts to run off the ropes, but Shane Montez reaches out and grabs PTP by the hair and slams him back down to the mat! The crowd is booing their heads off, and the referee is really getting in the face of Shane Montez, but Shane just brushes them all off. Shane's never cared much what the fans, or the referees for that matter are saying to him. Shane walks over to the fallen PTP, who's holding the back of his head and pulls him to his feet. Shane backs PTP to the ropes, and whips him in, PTP off the ropes on the opposite side. Shane drops his head, and PTP stops short and hooks Shane by the head and catches him with a spinning neckbreaker! Great counter by PTP, and now he has to try and capitalize! PTP crawls over and makes the lateral press, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Shane Montez! Shane shooting the shoulder off the mat, right before the count of three! PTP grabs Shane and pulls him to his feet. PTP with a series of forearms, which send Shane reeling and back him to the ropes. PTP with the Irish whip in, Shane off the ropes, PTP lifts Shane up and drives him into the mat with a spinning spinebuster! PTP hooks the leg, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Shane Montez! PTP thought he had it there, and all these fans here did too, they were on their feet ready to celebrate! PTP gets back to his feet and he pulls Shane toward the corner. PTP sets Shane up against the buckles and backs away. What's PTP got on his mind here? PTP charges Shane, going for a driving knee in the corner, but Shane slides out of the way! PTP goes crashing chest and knee first into the buckles! Shane takes a moment to gather himself, allowing PTP to back away from the corner, and Shane immediately goes to work, connects with a chop block to the back of PTP's knee! The Shooter, Shane Montez is in his element now and PTP is in some real trouble! Shane grabs PTP by the leg, and places a kick right in the back of the leg! Shane softening PTP up even more, before one would have to assume applying that Shooter's Touch submission! PTP holding his knee, and Shane grabs it once more, and drives a knee into the hamstring, knotting that muscle up even more! Shane calls for it! He's going for the Shooter's Touch! Shane reaches down and attempts to put PTP into position, and PTP counters rolling Shane up into a small package! Referee down for the count, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Shane Montez! What a great counter by PTP, and it was almost successful, but Shane manages to kick out! PTP slow to his feet, but still quicker than Shane, PTP catches Shane with a boot to the midsection! PTP hooks Shane and plants him with the DDT! PTP with the DDT, he makes the cover, 1 ……… 2 ……… KICKOUT by Shane Montez! PTP slaps the mat, showing us a little of his frustration, before signaling for the Primetime Execution! He's going for it! Can he get him up, with the damage done to his leg? PTP pulls Shane to his feet and puts him in a standing headscissors. PTP hooks Shane around the waist and takes him in the air, PTP goes to push him off, but his knee gives out!! PTP drops Shane and Shane lands behind PTP! Shane turns around and immediately goes for a chop block, taking PTP down! Shane hooks PTP and locks in the Shooter's Touch! Combination Surfboard/Dragon Sleeper, and this move is deadly! PTP is trapped here, but he's not tapping out! Shane hooks his hands and sinks the sleeper in deeper, and I think PTP is fading here! PTP's arm goes limp, the referee checks on him and calls for the bell! PTP is out cold, and Shane Montez is going to advance to the finals!
Winner by pinfall at 13:44 - Shane Montez
(Chris Cash) PTP never gave up, but the pain was just too much, and he passes out. What heart by the Pure Wrestling Champion, but tonight it's the Rated R Champion who prevails! Shane Montez now advances to take on The Executioner in the Classic Bracket Finals of the 2007 Eddie Guerrero Memorial Cup Tournament! What a matchup that should be! Right now, I understand we have some comments from the International Division Champion, Marcus K. Yelder, who is standing by backstage. Let's take you to those comments now.
(Camera shows MKY from shoulders up backstage)
(MKY) Good evening fans. Right about now is the part in the show where I get asked some silly questions by that sexy lady Stacy Warren, and I expose PWR Management for being unfair in every way towards me, and I talk about how I have had to work for every single thing I have in PWR and that management has given me nothing. Well, that theme stays the same. Because today when I arrived at the arena, I found out that little Stacy had other things to do instead of interviewing the PWR International Champion. So, I took it upon myself to hire my own interviewer. That's right, Rebekah come on in here. Ladies and gentlemen, the MKY exclusive interviewer for PWR, the ever hot and sexy, Rebekah Jenson.
(Camera glances up and down at Rebekah.)
(MKY) Hey, Mr. Cameraman, what do you think you're still doing here? My Big Bull, Paige, can you escort Mr. Cameraman out of my sight. Mr. Cameraman, enjoy a luxurious vacation to "go suck a purple donkey's dick land" courtesy of Big Bull Air.
(Chris Paige) You got it.
(Paige walks away with Mr. Cameraman over his shoulder as MKY takes the camera and chucks it down the hallway.)
(MKY) Take that too! Ok, Aaron, is it on?
(Aaron) Yeah, we're good to go.
(MKY) Ok, sorry you guys had to see that. Anyways, fans, say hi to MKY exclusive cameraman, Aaron. Of course, this will be the only time you see him. Hope you enjoyed the 15 seconds of fame, Aaron. Now, back to me. Fans check this out. Everything here is MKY exclusive. I have my own interview background set, my own hot interviewer that is sexier than anybody PWR could find, my own cameraman, I have my own video walls, and I know you fans at home are loving the MKY logo at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. No more boring, old PWR interview area crap, with the PWR colors and logo and such, with every MKY promo you will be seeing green. So with all the PWR garbage out of the way, lets get this thing going. First question baby.
(Rebekah Jenson) PWR International Division Champion, the unpinned, the unsubmitted, Marcus K. Yelder. What are your thoughts if any on your opponent Terrell Yelder?
(MKY) Well Rebekah, if you remember the last unfair and unjust tournament that happened, I had to face my own brother in the finals. Of course, me being the Wrestler of the Year, I defeated him with a busted knee and a bloody face to win this belt. Terrell is a great competitor and a true legend in this business but unfortunately he will be step number two in MKY having to prove to the world and PWR Management that "The Hot Commodity" is the "Franchise Player" of PWR.
(Rebekah Jenson) "Wrestler of the Year" Marcus K. Yelder, how do you think your right knee will hold up tonight?
(MKY) Rebekah, you know as well as anyone else how bad my knee is. But me being the epitome of professional, I continue week in and week out to neglect the needed surgery for my knee. I would much rather go out there and prove that with one knee in shambles and the other one not far behind, that I am the best.
(Rebekah Jenson) Well, I am positive that tonight's contest will have the same result as the last time you faced him. And I hope your knee holds up yet another night of intense action in the ring. I just hope you have enough for some out of the ring.
(MKY) Whoooo! Thank you Rebekah.
(Rebekah Jenson) Thank you Marcus. Fans, unfortunately, the interview has concluded, but don't worry, you will see more MKY later tonight. As will I. Back to you, Cash.
(Camera switches to ringside and Chris Cash.)
(Chris Cash) Thanks Rebekah. You know, it's hard to agree with what MKY and his obviously biased cohorts have to say, but I will give MKY this. He sure knows how to pick em. Rebekah is hot! Moving on, we'll be right back with our main event of the evening!
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Chris Cash) Welcome back tot he show fans. Before we went to break, we heard from the current PWR International Champion, who seems to be a little cocky coming into tonight. His brother is as tough as they come, and he could knock him off his throne here tonight! It's time for the main event, let's get to the ring!
