(Video rolls of last night's matches from the Franchise Cup Tournament, the four wins by members of The Circle, as well as Corporate Crusher's win over Corky Angle. Video is also shown of the attack on Henry Franklin, of which MJM was the prime suspect. Video ends and the camera comes inside the Devaney Sports Center, as Delaware Beach Boy's music comes over the PA. Audio picks up from the announce table, where Devin St. Jons is standing by.)
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome to PWR Overload! We're coming to you from the Devaney Sports Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and what a night of action we have in store for you! We have the final three 2nd round matches in the PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup, plus we have seven other huge matches, it's going to be a big night, and we're kicking it off with some International Division action!
International Division Singles Match
Delaware Beach Boy vs Doug Bares
The match opens with quick back and forth action. Doug Bares gains the upper hand after a series of blows between the men. Knocking him into the corner he lifts him up to the top rope and goes up himself. Doug tries a superplex early on in the match but Delaware Beach Boy blocks the attempts and shoves Doug off the top rope. Doug lays on his back now, DBB comes off the top rope with a splash! He stays on top of Doug for a cover 1
2
Kickout by Doug. DBB stays on the offensive now, picking up Doug, he whips him into the ropes and follows up behind him, clotheslines him over the top rope! Doug falls into the rail outside and holds his lower back. He slowly lifts himself up using the rail, looking up at Beach Boy. Beach Boy pulls on the top rope and acts as he is flinging himself at Doug. As Doug jumps out of the way, Beach Boy holds onto the ropes and lands on the apron. Looking behind him now, Beach Boy watches Doug stand again. DBB jumps to the second rope and comes off with a moonsault, but Doug again moves out of the way and Beach Boy gets hung on the rail! Ouch that had to hurt! Doug grabs a hold of Beach Boy and brings him to the ring, rolling him in. He slides in and covers Beach Boy 1... 2 ...a kickout by Beach Boy. Doug argues with the ref now telling him that he counted too slowly. Doug shoves the ref, the ref takes a second and then shoves Doug right back right into a rollup by Beach Boy! The ref with a faster count 1

Winner by pinfall at 7:31 - Delaware Beach Boy
(Devin St. Jons) A big win for the Beach Boy, as he hands the newcomer Doug Bares his 2nd straight PWR loss. DBB back on track, but right now let's head backstage, where we have Jericho Kane standing by.
(Camera switches to a backstage shot, where "The Thrillbilly" Jericho Kane is standing by as the crowd jeers.)
(Jericho Kane) Oh yeah!!!!!!! Some of ya love and some of ya hate me. Understand one thing, never underestimate me! I do tend to rub people the wrong way but that's me. Just look at what I can accomplish when I set my mind to it. Ya don't believe me?? Ask one Duncan McCloud! He knows.... all too well. Who's next in my sights? Primetime Punisher!! When this tourney is done, all of the critics are gonna sit up and take notice of the most UNDERRATED athlete in these feds, bar none!!!!!!!! You see this whole tourney was designed by the promoters with me emergin' as the Franchise Player of PWR.
(Jericho Kane pauses as the crowd jeers him louder.)
(Jericho Kane) Stay tuned for an announcement of epic proportions in the weeks coming from your truly, Jericho Kane and my 'bro' in arms. You all know him.... Xavier Lawless! If ya don't like that or me then kiss my rebel ass!
(Kane walks from the frame as the camera fades to commercial.)
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Camera comes up inside the arena, where see Fatal Fury in the ring, as "Fist of Rage" by Kid Rock comes over the PA out walks "The Big Bull" Christopher Paige.)
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome back to Overload fans. We got a surprise match added to the show tonight, as Henry Franklin, Christopher Paige's original opponent from Full Throttle was attacked backstage and taken out, therefore Paige comes to Overload, and he's got Fatal Fury in front of him tonight, who's looking to end a losing streak. Let's get to the action!
Classic Division Singles Match
"The Big Bull" Christopher Paige vs Fatal Fury
The bell rang and that was the sign of the end for Fatal Fury. Chris Paige hit the Raging Bull right out of the gate, and dominated from there. Paige toyed around a little bit with Fury, before finally hitting the Paige Turner, and picking up the 1-2-3.
Winner by pinfall at 2:44 - Christopher M. Paige
(Devin St. Jons) A convincing win for Chris Paige here tonight over Fatal Fury. Paige needed a win under his belt to build his confidence, as he's still seen as an outsider in The Circle, and that might be the first step in turning the favor for him. Paige gets the duke, and right now I understand we have Chris Craven, standing by backstage. Let's take you to that now.
(Camera switches backstage, where Chris Craven is standing by.)
(Chris Craven) Tonight, I face Shane Donovan. I am going to make sure I knock his sorry ass out of this tournament, just like I did to Flash last week. Every week, I'm going to climb higher and higher up the PWR ladder. Why? So, I can dominate this federation like I have others. I am going to become PWR World Champion very soon. I'll show everyone in this federation who the real "Primetime" Player is. I don't care who you are, Shane, Flash, One of the Yelders, or Mr. Clean. I will dominate this federation and I'll make sure..... no one passes me...and I mean No One.
(Craven walks from the frame, as camera takes us back inside the arena.)
(Devin St. Jons) Well, it sure looks like Chris Craven is ready for his opportunity here tonight, and what an opportunity it is. The winner of this match will go on to the Classic Division semifinals against The Executioner, who prevailed in an exciting match on Full Throttle. Before we get to that match, let's get to the transformed "Madd Dogg" Mike, who's taking on Xavier Black, right now!
Classic Division Singles Match
"Madd Dogg" Mike vs "The Mack" Xavier Black
Both men hit the ring and the bell rang, and they came to the middle with a lock up. Black went on the offensive early, using a series of wear down holds and moves to the head and neck of The Madd Dogg, eventually hitting the Stood Up Driver, for a two count at the two minute mark. The Madd Dogg kicked out of that, and after countering Black's Let Down move with a German suplex, the tide officially turned in the favor of The Madd Dogg. Mike continued his offense, leading to the Greenwich Sidekick, but that only managed a two count. The Madd Dogg pulled Black up from the mat, and went for the suplex, but Black blocked it and swung around, going for the backslide at the four minute mark, and managed to get a two count. Black and Mike got up at the same time, but Mike hit first with the lariat, nearly taking Black's head off. The Madd Dogg reeled Black in and moved to the corner, and stepped up onto the middle rope. Mike lifted Black up and hit the Dogg Pile 2nd rope piledriver for the resounding victory at the five minute mark.
Winner by pinfall at 5:01 - "Madd Dogg" Mike
(Devin St. Jons) The Madd Dogg, proving some of his critics wrong here tonight on Overload, as he picks up the win over Xavier Black! Let's hope that is the first of many for Mike. Fans, we've got to take another commercial break, stay tuned!
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome back to Lincoln and PWR Overload! Up next, we have a big tag team match in the International Division; let's get to the ring!
International Division Tag Team Match
Jacques Couteau & "Hollywood" Duckie Maloy vs Enrique DeJesus & Kristian Jones
Both teams made their way to the ring and Couteau and Jones started things off. Jones used his power advantage to gain the upper hand on Couteau, backing him into the corner. Jones hit a series of back elbows, before moving to the middle of the ring and whipping Couteau off the ropes into a big boot. Jones worked over Couteau for much of the opening three minutes, before making the tag to EDJ. EDJ started to work on Couteau, getting a two count after a backbreaker. Couteau finally stopped EDJ's momentum with a rake of the eyes and made the tag to Maloy. Maloy hit the ring and hit his own big boot, knocking EDJ to the mat. Maloy went to go for a piledriver, but EDJ backdropped him over and made the tag to his team's big man, Kristian Jones. The big men proceeded to engage in a slugfest, in which Jones got the upper hand. Jones eventually got Maloy down long enough to head to the top rope. Jones leapt off, going for the shooting star elbow, but he came up empty as Maloy rolled out of the way. Maloy crawled to his corner and tagged in Couteau, as Jones tagged in EDJ, and EDJ hit the ring and took down Couteau with a clothesline and a scoop slam. Maloy comes in, but EDJ uses his momentum to carry him over the ropes and to the floor. EDJ eventually hit The Fold, and went over to tag in Kristian Jones, who once again climbed to the top rope! As Jones made the top rope, Maloy leaped up on the apron and pushed Jones off into the ring, and he landed awkwardly. EDJ came over to Maloy and hit a clothesline, knocking him off the apron, and EDJ followed him out. Maloy and EDJ brawled on the floor as Couteau recovered enough to get the La Magistral cradle on Jones for the 1-2-3 at just over eleven minutes.
Winners by pinfall at 11:14 - Jacques Couteau & "Hollywood" Duckie Maloy
(Devin St. Jons) What a win for the team of Couteau and Maloy, they might be the next challengers for those International Tag Titles, after the situation between the champions and Stratton and Flash is worked out, that's something to keep an eye on. Speaking of that International Tag Title picture, two of the people in question are facing off, as Michael Cook will take on Matt Flash. Let's get to the action!
International Division Singles Match
Michael Cook vs Matt Flash
Lefts by Flash followed by rights from Cook open this match. The two beating the hell out of each other until Cook gains the upper hand by poking Matt in the eyes. He then grabs Matt's arm and begins to twist it, before whipping him into the ropes. Matt bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline attempt from Cook. He then keeps going again bouncing off the ropes but this time when he returns he is caught by a dropkick from Cook. Cook gets back to his feet and then picks him up by his head. He kicks Matt in the gut, doubling him over. He then shoves Matt's head between his legs. Cook lifts Matt up into the air and then flings Matt over him, so he just lands behind him. The ref happens to be in the way and gets knocked out. Cook begins to stomp on Flash and notices the ref knocked out. He goes outside the ring and grabs a steel chair. He throws it in the ring and slides in. He then gets up and picks the chair up. The crowd boos but quickly turns into cheers. Andrew Stratton runs down to the ring. Cook notices him and gets ready. Stratton slides into the ring, ducks a chair shot from Cook and stops. Cook turns around and gets the chair superkicked into his face! Stratton begins to talk some trash then throws the chair out of the ring. He grabs Matt Flash and places him on top of Cook. Stratton then revives the ref and exits the ring. The count, 1

Winner by pinfall at 8:04 - Matt Flash
(Devin St. Jons) Andrew Stratton returns the favor from last night on Full Throttle, and he helps his partner Matt Flash get the victory over one half of the International Tag Champs!
(Camera switches to a backstage shot, where Stacy Warren is standing by with Mavick.)
(Stacy Warren) I'm standing here with the new PWR World Champion, Mavick The Motown Monster.
(Stacy turns to Mavick, who is wearing sunglasses.)
(Mavick) Can we turn down the lights a little?
(Stacy Warren) Why are you wearing sunglasses? We're inside a building!
(Mavick) *mocking Stacy* Why are you wearing sunglasses? We're inside a building! I have a question for you Stacy. Why are you such a whore?
(Stacy Warren) Excuse me!!! I will not be talked to like that!!!
(Mavick) Look, I'm sorry. I'm a little hungover and your voice is so loud and annoying that it seems to be digging through my brain like a dagger, SO CAN'T YOU JUST BE QUIET!?! I'm sorry Stacy, I love you... *sobbing* I love you so much!!! I love you Stacy Warren!!! *stops crying* I think I have a slight drinking problem... I'm not drinking at the moment!!! *laughing* Who's the Drunken Zelot now biotch!!!!
(Stacy Warren) Oh, now I remember why we broke up!
(Mavick) Oh whatever Stacy, you so totally still want me!
(Stacy Warren) I do not!!!
(Mavick) Denial ain't just a river in Egypt baby, it's your current state. Tell me you don't dream about The Mav.
(Stacy Warren) You hurt me.
(Mavick) God, stop being such a fag. Damn.
(Stacy Warren) See that's what I'm talking about! You're so inconsiderate, you don't take people's feelings into consideration at all! Fag is such horrible word!
(The voice of Devin St. Jons breaks in.)
(Devin St. Jons) I have no idea what is happening at all, but we're going to stay with this because the champ is GOLD!!
(Mavick) I don't have a problem with gays. In fact, gay people love me. Everybody loves me. I'm freakin adorable.
(Stacy Warren) I told you last week I have a new boyfriend. Someone who treats me like a lady and respects me as a young gal on the go.
(Mavick) You mean it's some spongy queer who takes you out to spend his money and then can't get it up in bed? What's this pussy's name? I'll kick his ass six ways from Sunday!
(Stacy Warren) If you must know..
(Suddenly, "Madd Dogg" Mike walks into the camera shot. Mike hands Stacy some flowers.)
("Madd Dogg" Mike) Stacy my love, you smell divine. Your love is like a unopened flower ready to bloom.
(Mavick begins busting out in laughter, quickly falling to the floor and continuing to laugh hysterically.)
(Mavick) You dumped me for him?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Stacy, baby... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Okay, Stacy baby, if you wanted me back, you didn't have to dive so far down in the well!
("Madd Dogg" Mike) Listen you bastard, I will not have you talk to my Stacy that way! I demand you respect her!!
(Mavick stands back up, but in his drunken stupor, he quickly falls to the floor again and begins laughing once again.)
(Mavick) Are you serious?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Dude, I'll beat you so bad your mother will disown you! You better be glad I'm not taking this serious. C'mon Stacy, I'll buy you dinner.
(As Mavick grabs Stacy's arm, Skullman grabs Mavick's arm and slaps him across the face! Stacy and her new beau quickly take off around the corner, and Mavick is left standing there with a look on his face that could kill.)
(Mavick) *Growling* That little son of a bitch.
(Mavick stands very angry as we fade out to the voice of Devin St. Jons)
(Devin St. Jons) I think "Madd Dogg" just made a very big mistake!
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Camera comes up backstage, where the PWR Pure Wrestling Champion, Primetime Punisher is standing by.)
(Primetime Punisher) Jericho Kane, this match is going to be short and sweet just like Skullman last week. I'm unstoppable this year being undefeated here in 2007 and it will stay that way after I am done with you. I'm just taking it one match at a time and when it is all said and done, I will become the winner of the Franchise Cup 2007.
(Camera comes inside the arena, to Devin St. Jons)
(Devin St. Jons) Short and to the point from PTP, he looks ready to go here tonight! Before we get to that match, we've got a match with the former PWR Pure Champion, Duncan McCloud, taking on member of The New Blood, Landon Kaine. Let's head up to the ring!
Classic Division Singles Match
Duncan McCloud vs Landon Kaine
Duncan starts off with shots to the big man but is unable to take him down. Backing to the ropes he comes off and clotheslines Kaine, but Kaine still doesn't go down. McCloud backs into the ropes again and comes off but Kaine clothesline him down. Picking him up he doubles him over. Lifts his arm high into the air and clubs it down across the back of McCloud's neck. McCloud falls to the mat; Kaine now backs into the ropes and comes off, jumping in the air and landing right on top of McCloud's back. McCloud lets out a scream of pain. Kaine rolls him over and covers him 1
2
kickout by McCloud. Not too sure if that was smart by McCloud. Kaine gets back up to his feet, puts a foot on McCloud's chest and walks over him slowly applying all his weight. Kaine then picks him up after a minute of playing the crowd. McCloud holds his chest but reaches up and pokes Kaine in the eyes. Kaine shoves him back to avoid anymore contact while trying to clear his vision. Duncan takes this time to take some breaths. Kaine regains full vision and looks angrily at McCloud. He runs forward at McCloud, McCloud steps forward and SUPERKICK! Kaine stands there stunned for a second, and then falls back to the mat. McCloud falls forward and lands on top of Kaine, the ref counts, 1

Winner by pinfall at 6:48 - Duncan McCloud
(Devin St. Jons) A much needed win for McCloud, who's trying to get back on track here in PWR. He's been on the slide since losing that Pure Championship, and was in need of a win to get back on track. Let's hope that was the win he needed. McCloud with a huge victory, and by the superkick no less! Right now we have a rematch from the first round of the Franchise Cup, which ended in a double countout. Montez and Kros, one more time, to the ring!
Classic Division Singles Rematch
"The Ghost" Bryan Kros vs "The Machine" Anthony Montez
These two started off where they left off last time, and that was in a knock down, drag out brawl. Kros started to get the advantage, and hit a neckbreaker. Kros transitioned into a rear chin lock, and really started to focus his offense on the neck of Anthony Montez. Kros continued his assault, eventually hitting the Clothesline from Hell, for a two count at the three-minute mark. Kros pulled Montez up to his feet and went for a German suplex, but Montez rolls through it and lands on his feet. Montez followed with an elbow to the head, and connected with a backdrop driver! Montez proceeded to go on the offensive, and he hit the running shooting star press for a two count. At the six-minute mark, Montez hit the springboard turnbuckle dropkick, which garnered another two count. Kros attempted to get back on track and hit the Asai DDT he calls The Ghostbuster, but Montez just pushed him off. Montez grabbed Kros and hit his Heavy Metal finisher, and picked up the 1-2-3.
Winner by pinfall at 7:11 - "The Machine" Anthony Montez
(Devin St. Jons) Anthony Montez picks up the duke! Kros seemed like he was going to make the turn, but Montez held off his late rush and comes out victorious. We'll have to see how Kros bounces back from this one. Three matches left to go here tonight, and after the break, we'll kick it off with PTP vs. Jericho Kane!
(Camera switches to a backstage shot inside the office of Synyster, who is sitting on his couch, reviewing some papers. Just then, Mavick bursts into the office, sending some of Synyster's papers flying.)
(Synyster) What the hell do you want?
(Mavick) What do I want? What do I want? I want Skullman.
(Synyster) You mean "Madd Dogg" Mike.
(Mavick) Whatever he's calling himself these days. I want him in a match. He disrespected me, and he will pay for that.
(Synyster) Disrespected you eh? What happened? Oh wait, I remember. Let's check the video.
(Synyster picks up the remote control for his TV, and comments to Mavick.)
(Synyster) Was this it?
(Screen shows "Madd Dogg" Mike slapping Mavick across the face, while Mavick stands there, looking irate.)
(Synyster) Let me rewind that, I need a better look.
(Synyster hits rewind and plays the slap again, leading Mavick to blow up.)
(Mavick) Yeah, damn it! That was it! Are you going to give me my match or not?
(Synyster) Sure, I'll make the match. And you know what, I'll even make it a Steel Cage Match. Just incase you feel like running from the beating he's going to give you, much like he did this week. Let's look at the video again.
(Synyster rewinds the tape, as Mavick storms off, leaving Synyster laughing as he plays the footage again as we fade out to commercial.)
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Camera comes up inside the arena, where we see Jericho Kane on his way to the ring. Devin St. Jons picks up on commentary.)
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome back to Overload everyone! Huge announcement right before we went to break, Mavick will take on "Madd Dogg" Mike next week in a Steel Cage Match! That should be a hell of a contest and a big test for the "Madd Dogg"! Hopefully that match will take place here on Overload, but right now, here we go with the first of three huge matches in the Franchise Cup Tournament. "The Thrillbilly" is on his way to the ring now, and behind him is the Pure Champion PTP! This should be a great match, let's get to the action!
Classic Bracket Quarterfinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
Primetime Punisher vs "The Thrillbilly" Jericho Kane
The bell rang, and Kane bum-rushed PTP, trying to get the jump on him, and he did as Kane hit a series of punches, and then followed up with a Roaring Elbow, which took the Pure Champion off his feet. Kane climbed the ropes and hit a very nice looking moonsault and hooked the leg for a two count. Kane pulled PTP up and hooked him up for the uranage, but PTP countered with elbows to the back of Kanes head. PTP turned into a side Russian leg sweep. PTP went on the offense as he pulled Kane to his feet and whipped him into the ropes. PTP hit a bone crunching spinebuster, and covered Kane for a two count. PTP went on the offense for much of the next four minutes of the match, and finally connected with a spear to take Kane down for a two count. Kane countered with a rake of the eyes of PTP to get an upper hand, and connected with the Kick from The Heavens, to take PTP to the mat. Kane hurriedly made his way to the apron, and went to the corner. Kane springboards onto the top rope and leaps off with the Southern Cross and it connects! Kane covers 1
2
KICKOUT by PTP! Kane literally freaked out after not getting the pinfall after that move. Kane pulled PTP to a standing base and hooked him up for a little Southern Justice! PTP lifts up out of it and hooks Kane for a Kryptonite Krunch! PTP with the great counter, and he finished Kane off with the Primetime Executioner to pick up the three count at just under thirteen minutes.
Winner by pinfall at 12:54 - Primetime Punisher
(Devin St. Jons) PTP holds true to what he said he was going to, and he picks up the victory over Jericho Kane in a hard fought match. Kane gave PTP all he could handle, but in the end, it was not enough. PTP moves on to face the Rated R Champion, Shane Montez in a Battle of Champions! What a match that should be!
(The intro for "I Don't Wanna Stop" by Ozzy Osbourne begins, and red and white psycho strobes start to flash violently.)
All my life I've been over the top
I don't know what I'm doing
All I know is I don't wanna stop
All fired up, I'm gonna go til' I drop
You are the real reason please
Don't make me, I don't wanna stop!
(The music blares full blast, with a domino like effect of white pyros exploding across the stage. Shane Donovan comes blasting through the curtain with Jasmine seductively making her way with him. Shane is pumping up the crowd racing to one of the stage then the other "a la Edge". Shane, Jasmine in arm and a snide smirk, makes his way to the ring, smacking the hands of various fans. He slides under the ropes, Jasmine up the steps. Donovan shoots to the far corner and raises up a "rock on" finger symbol. Jasmine proceeds to gain access to a mic, Shane climbs down and snatches the mic as the music subsides)
(Shane Donovan) All week long, I kept hearing various things, from various people. How the hell did you get back into the Franchise Cup? You lost to Shane Montez fair and square why do you deserve another shot? Because you and the owners are so tight? NO. Because Bryan Kros is one of your stable mates and since your the leader of The New Blood that you take the place of his spot? NO. It's simple. Certain things took place after Overload went off last time that were, well, not acceptable to Synyster. As you all see my ribs are taped up. After my match with Shane Montez, for some ungodly reason, Mr. Craven took upon himself to attack me. Why, I do not know, maybe he has a death wish. Did Montez help me at all? NO. So, Synyster decided to intervene and told Craven that he longer has a bye week and that he must face me. Which means, I get another at Shane Montez, in the future. Yes, I am that confident. Now another question. Why are you so obsessed with Shane Montez? Why? He cheated me out of the one thing that made me who I am, the most violent man in sports entertainment. Mick was insane, Tommy was insane, Sandman was..... well, drunk most of the time, but me, I was pure violence, through and through. Shane Montez treats my title like it's a joke, like it doesn't belong in this business. Well, without it, you would lose half of the fans and half of the profit. Your precious money would be gone. In the future my claim to fame, will be bringing you down a notch and finishing the job I started. You will be mangled at Rise 2 Power. But first, Craven will be made an example of. And last but not least, the one question that everyone has asked me, retirement. Shane, so and so told me you are gonna retire, when? Why?
(The crowd boos.)
(Shane Donovan) Well, as much as it hurts me to say this. I have been considering retirement. I am getting older.
(Shane looks at Jasmine and brings her close to him.)
(Shane Donovan) Jasmine and I would like to start a family, and I wanna be there to see them grow and turn into fine young adults. I know I said I am the most violent man in all of sports entertainment. But, I am also human. Retirement is only being thrown around in my head, I may, then again, I may not. Whichever it is, I will continue to pour my heart and soul into every single match I fight. As of right now though, my heart and my soul are not on the line. Chris Craven! Get your ass down here now!
(Devin St. Jons) Well, you heard it from the mouth of Shane Donovan, he's ready to go and very confident he's going to pick up a victory! Call me crazy, but I think we heard our first confirmation of a match at Rise 2 Power! Montez vs Donovan for the Rated R Title one more time? I would love to see that! Getting back to tonight, I would imagine Mr. Craven has something to say about Donovan's virtual guarantee, so let's get to the action!!
Classic Bracket Quarterfinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
Shane Donovan vs Chris Craven
Last week, Chris Craven impressed the world by beating a highly respected wrestler in Flash. This week he goes up against another one of the top wrestlers in the world, Shane Donovan so this should be a great match. The match opens up with Donovan trying to throw Craven off guard with actual wrestling. Seeing how Craven brawls more often than not, this isn't a bad tactic by Donovan. After a series of arm drags and dropkicks, Craven rolls out of the ring ticked off. Donovan exits the ring and begins to come at Craven. Craven slides back in, no running around the ring here. He gets up, Donovan slides in and Craven goes to work, clubbing his arm down across Donovan's neck. He lifts Donovan up and grabs him by his head and shoves Donovan HEAD FIRST into the ring post! MY GOD! Donovan could be hurt from that. Craven grabs Donovan by the tights and pulls him out of the corner. He then sets Donovan so he is leaning in the corner. He elbows Donovan head a few times and then pulls Donovan out of the corner. Craven then hooks Donovan's head and hits the Craven DDT!!! Craven rolls Donovan over and now covers him 1

3!!
Winner by pinfall at 4:45 - Chris Craven
(Devin St. Jons) Donovan was totally taken out of his game by that almost sadistic post shot by Craven and that now leads to Donovan's downfall in this match. I think this has to be considered another upset! Chris Craven, languishing in the mid-card for most of his stay in PWR has now knocked off two top contenders in PWR, in Flash and now Shane Donovan to advance to the semifinals of this Franchise Cup! Craven versus The Executioner next week, and that should be a very interesting match! The Classic Bracket itself is proving to be very interesting, as now we have a semifinal match between two of the young guns in Craven and The Executioner, and on the other end, we have two of the established stars in Shane Montez and PTP. No matter how it shakes out it will be youth versus veteran in the Classic Final! Right now, I understand we have some comments from "The Face" Nick Davis, so let's take you backstage to Mr. Davis' personal interviewer, Sheldon McPants.
(Sheldon McPants) I'm standing by with "The Face" Nick Davis. Face, tonight you step into the ring with Greggs. Any thoughts?
("The Face" Nick Davis) Yes. Some people may say I'm overconfident, but frankly, that's why tonight, Greggs... if you pin my shoulders to the mat or make me tap out, I will gladly wrestle my last match in the PWR.
(Sheldon McPants) What?! Face, what are you doing?!
("The Face" Nick Davis) I'm making things exciting... proving myself. If I can't beat Greggs, I don't need to be here anymore, dawg. Wish me luck.
(The Face heads off camera, as Sheldon McPants is left looking surprised as we fade out to commercial.)
:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::
(Devin St. Jons) Welcome back to Overload fans, it's about time for our main event of the evening, and this match just got a whole lot more interesting! Before we went to commercial, Nick Davis just put his PWR CAREER on the line! If he doesn't beat Greggs, it's over for him! Can he win? Let's get to the main event of the evening!!
:::::MAIN EVENT:::::
International Bracket Quarterfinal Match in the 2007 PWR Eddie Guerrero Memorial Franchise Cup Tournament
"The Face" Nick Davis vs Greggs
"Time For A Fight" by Three 6 Mafia plays throughout the Bob Devaney Sports Center as Greggs makes his way down to the ring. Last week, Greggs pulled off a big time win to advance in the PWR Franchise Cup. He needs to have all there is to give in this match against "The Face." Greggs rolls into the ring as the crowd pops in anticipation. Finally, the horns of "Hollywood Swingin'" plays as the crowd pops.)
