PWR Overload
December 15th, 2006

(The scene opens up with Brandon $. Yelder in front of the PWR International Championship Tournament Board)

(Brandon $. Yelder) Good evening. Earlier this week, a card was posted on the PWR Website giving the "order of the show." I'm sorry to say this but your friendly webmaster was misunderstood. You see, I had to give the boys in Internet and Public Relations something to put online so that our paying PWR fans would actually come to the arena and actually tune into the show. Not saying that you wouldn't show up, just saying! So, I say all that to say this. Tonight, the PWR International Championship Tournament will be kicked off but NOT in the order you see on the board behind me OR in the order on the website. Right now, all 24 men who will fight for the right to be called PWR's 7 th champion are being collected in the blue room of the Salem Civic Center. Randomly, I will draw numbers 1-8. According to the board behind me, grouping 1 is Bad News Bully, Jacques Couteau and the Delaware Beach Boy. To anyone, that would be a killer opener and/or a surefire main event. Not tonight. Tonight, you will learn to expect the unexpected with the International Division. Let the games begin NOW!

(The camera switches to a tumbler rotating as the camera pans across the jam-packed Salem Civic Center for some PWR action! The camera finally makes its way to the face of Devin St. Jons as he begins to address the television audience.)

(Devin St. Jons) Third times a charm and this is the 3rd edition of PWR's newest broadcast, Overload. I am Devin St. Jons and already waves are being made here tonight. The PWR International Division will be in plain view tonight as ALL 24 competitors who signed up for the tournament will be in action tonight. We have matches that pit the future of wrestling as " Hollywood" Duckie Maloy, Marcus K. Yelder and Jericho Kane butt heads. Also, some of the biggest names in the business get squared off in the same match as Terrell Yelder will be facing Corky Angle and Kristian Jones and Corporate Crusher will be facing Enrique DeJesus and Chris Craven. Right now, let's put our eyes back on the PWR-Tron and see what match will go on first!

(Camera shows Brandon $. Yelder messing with the tumbler, he stops it and then calls for someone to enter the room. It's Alexzandria! She opens the tumbler and pulls out a colored ball. The number on the ball reads "5." Suddenly, we hear the horns of Kool and the Gang's "Hollywood Swinging" only for it to merge into the fast paced, electrifying and captivating beat of DJ Kool's "Let Me Clear My Throat!" The energy of the song defies the fans not to hoot and holler! Davis walks out and stands on the top of the ramp as the crowd screams)

Check the flavor of the rhythm I wrote
And while I got a chance here, let me clear my throat!

(As the beat now begins to blaze a little bit louder, The Face walks down the aisle in his personalized orange Fighting Illini jersey with white font. On the back it reads Davis with the number 21 on the back. Davis has an orange headband to boot, along with an orange armband on his right arm, and an orange armband on his left arm. The plays up to the crowd as the lyrics continue)

Oh, have mercy babe, ha!
I hope ya don't mind, let me clear my throat!
I need these monitors right here
Music and the monitors
And it goes a little something like this here
Ah huh ah huh ah
Now if y'all wanna party like we do
If y'all wanna party like us, lemme hear ya say
Ah ah ah ah ah!

(Davis starts to walk up the ring stairs and while doing so, he points at the fans to his left while bouncing his head up and down to the beat, encouraging them to sing along and they do)

(Crowd) Ah ah ah ah ah!
If y'all wanna party like we do
If y'all wanna party like us lemme hear ya say
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

(Nick Davis now points to the fans to his right while bopping his head just a little bit faster! The fans are happy to oblige)

(Crowd) Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!

(Nick Davis continues to smoothly bounce his head up and down as he now points to both sides. Both his left and his right, encouraging the fans continue to chant along while Davis enters the ring)

Now when I say uh, you say ah!
Uh!

(Crowd) AH!

UH!

(Crowd) AH!

And now when I say hey, you say ha!
Hey!

(Crowd) HA!

Hey!

(Crowd) HA!

Now when I say uh, you say ah!
Uh!

(Crowd) AH!

Uh!

(crowd) AH!

Now when I say hey you say ha!
Hey!

(Crowd) Ha!

Hey!

(Crowd) Ha!

Now when I say freeze you just freeze one time
When I say freeze y'all stop on a dime
When I say freeze you just freeze one time
When I say freeze y'all stop on a dime
FREEZE!

(The music comes to a complete halt as Nick Davis sticks both his palms out to his left and to his right. The crowd is completely amped and screaming loudly as "The Face" takes off his jersey and tosses it into the crowd)

(Devin St. Jons) This is what I'm talking about! Only "The Face" can make a crowd erupt like that. Welcome to PWR, Nick Davis! What a way to kick off a television broadcast as well as a tournament!

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
Shane Donovan vs Andrew Stratton vs "The Face" Nick Davis
At the beginning of this match, both Donovan and Stratton tried to take out "The Face." Stratton and Donovan connected with three consecutive double team moves to make Davis a non-factor for a few minutes. In that time frame, Stratton and Donovan exchange near falls after big moves. Finish came at about the 7 minute mark after Donovan caught Stratton with The E.N.D. but Davis comes in afterward and catches Donovan across the face with Air Davis (RVD side kick off the top) for the first round win!
Winner by pinfall at 7:21 - "The Face" Nick Davis

(Devin St. Jons) And Davis goes on to the second round. It's going to be interesting who he faces because it comes in one of the toughest matches to call as Corky Angle, Terrell Yelder and Kristian Jones. Right now, let's catch up with Duncan McCloud for his match tonight in the ID!

(Camera opens in a lush green grassy field just outside Ringdown Castle in County Rosscommon, Ireland, all the grass surrounding the castle has been recently cut and there is a slight breeze blowing off the lake to rear and left of the camera - Duncan McCloud is seen walking towards the camera.)

(Duncan McCloud) So.... dear little Brandon want to expand his little "International" Division and make it more official by creating a championship title to put a little stamp on it and give it a life of it's own Now that's just fine and dandy... but you see Brandon - I don't understand why you'd even bother with this tournament to crown a champion when you should just hand the championship over to me.... I mean let's look at the facts: since I became the PWR Pure Champion back in June - the PWR World title has changed hands four times & that silly little "Rated R" title has changed hands three times. The United States & World Tag Team Championships are basically 'inactive' thanks to that imbecile Mavick holding those title for ransom during his injury... lets be honest - there isn't a better wrestler in the International Division or the entire PWR roster then the Greatest PURE Wrestler Walking the Face of God's Green Earth: ME! But you want to make the boys in the back feel that they have a chance to win this tournament then fine we'll dance your little dance of a tournament & who do I draw in the opening round but two people who couldn't carry my bags in a building let alone who together couldn't put on a two star match with each other: Flash & Christopher Paige. Let's see... Paige.. I did some research on you since I haven't got a clue who you are and I learned - you're NOBODY! your only claim to fame is hold three championship I made famous back in WTF. You were a nobody when you joined PWR's roster and after tonight you'll finally be a somebody: another somebody who's been beaten by Duncan McCloud.... and as for you lil Flashy... you and I are no stranger to each other. In fact you were one of the three hacks I defeated to win my PWR Pure Championship... do you remember that dejected feeling when you returned to the locker room after seeing me win the title... well after tonight it'll be deja vu all over again punk.

(McCloud begins tapping the PWR Pure Championship which is draped over his left shoulder)

(Duncan McCloud) So remember.... The GREATEST PURE WRESTLER THERE EVER IS... WAS.. OR EVER WILL BE... my name is Duncan McCloud & I will be the first PWR International Division Champion!

(Duncan McCloud turns away from the camera and begins to head towards the castle as the camera fades.)

(Devin St. Jons) Those are some strong words from the only champion left in the tournament. Right now, let's get back to the back and see what match will be drawn next!

(Camera cuts to the back and shows Alexzi messing with the tumbler and draws the number FOUR!

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
"Atlantic City " Enrique DeJesus vs Corporate Crusher vs Chris Craven
All three men filed out to the ring and the bell rang. DeJesus and Crusher focused on each other. Craven tried to get in there but the two veterans pushed him away. DeJesus hit Crusher with a tight overhead belly-to-belly and got a two-count. Craven gets back up and tries to get in but DeJesus throws him out of the ring. Crusher got up from the belly-to belly and catches DeJesus with a Cobra Clutch into Backbreaker, only getting a two-count. Craven eventually got back into the ring but was laid out by a Crusher Running Lariat. Craven was out and DeJesus took advantage by hitting The Fold on Crusher and makes the cover on Chris Craven at the 13 minute mark, advancing himself to the second round!
Winner by pinfall at 13:06 - "Atlantic City" Enrique DeJesus

(Devin St. Jons) Enrique DeJesus is in and Crusher sees an untimely first round exit. Already, two of Brandon's ringers have come in and won handsomely in the first round. Let's go backstage and catch a word with another one of PWR's hired hands, The Bad News Bully!

(Camera switches backstage and shows BNB alone in his locker room.)

(Bad News Bully) It's been a good long while since I have entered a wrestling ring and for the longest time, I thought that my career was going to be over. That was, until I got that call from Brandon. It changed my life. It made me realize just what exactly I was missing. I was missing this love of mine. So The Bully is back and I have my sights set on the biggest prize in the world, the PWR International Championship. Let the reign of Bad News begin!

(Camera switches backstage to Alexzi and Brandon.)

(Brandon $. Yelder) Two down so far. You have done a good job drawing those numbers.

(Alexzandria) Really?

(Brandon $. Yelder) Yes! We have six more to go. Let's see who's next!

(Alexzandria reaches inside and pulls out another ball. She passes it to Brandon and Brandon shows it to the camera. The number reads EIGHT.)

(Devin St. Jons) MKY vs. Maloy vs. Kane! This should be good. Right now, we are going to take a quick commercial break. Don't go anywhere!

:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::

YOU BETTER WATCH OUT. YOU BETTER NOT CRY. YOU BETTER BE READY FOR AN EVILY GOOD NIGHT! PWR PRESENTS EVIL ENDGAME! STAY TUNED FOR MORE!

:::BACK TO RINGSIDE:::

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
"Hollywood" Duckie Maloy vs "The Thrillbilly" Jericho Kane vs "The Hot Commodity" Marcus K. Yelder
At the beginning of this fast paced opening round match, all 3 men exchanged early pinfall attempts to try to sneak away with the win but none were successful. In the middle of the contest MKY took himself and Jericho Kane out of the ring with a clothesline. With Kane and MKY just getting to their feet, Maloy set sail over the top rope with a somersault senton crashing down on both men. At the ending of the contest, Maloy hits Kane with 3 repeated Powerbombs, after the third, Maloy hangs on to try to pin a folded Jericho Kane, but at the count of 2, Marcus hits the ropes, runs, and nails an unexpecting Maloy with the Philabusta for the 1-2-3 at 11:16.
Winner by pinfall at 11:16 - Marcus K. Yelder

(Devin St. Jons) That is great stuff! Marcus K. Yelder showing the youth of the International Division as he makes his way into the second round! Let's go backstage and catch a word with one of our second rounders, "The Face" Nick Davis. He's standing by with… Shelton McPants? Alright, let's go back there.

(Camera shows Shelton McPants standing next to Nick Davis.)

(Shelton McPants) I'm here with my man, Nick Davis. Nick, tonight you pulled out a huge win in the opener of this television show. What did you think?

(Nick Davis) Well, to be honest, it was great my man! I mean, did you hear the crowd? They loved me. Man, reminded me of the good old days!

(Shelton McPants) What did you think about the competition?

(Nick Davis) Brandon wasn't lying. He said that the competition was stiff and that I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm glad that I'm making my way to the second round.

(Suddenly, Terrell Yelder enters the picture.)

(Nick Davis) Well if it isn't a piece of royalty!

(Terrell Yelder) Save it Face! You know that you are in this tournament as a road block for me. My incompetent brother can't stand it when I succeed.

(Nick Davis) You say so. Good luck tonight!

(Terrell Yelder) You will need the luck come next round when you face me.

(Nick Davis) You sure about that. I plan on winning that.

(Terrell Yelder) That's an awfully big suggestion.

(Nick Davis) It's not a suggestion. It's just…how I roll! Take care T. Good luck against Corky!

(Davis and McPants walk away as the camera cuts back to Alexzandria holding the number ONE!

(Devin St. Jons) Alright then! Bad News Bully seeing some PWR action. Let's get to the ring and check it out for ourselves!

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
Jacques Couteau vs Delaware Beach Boy vs Bad News Bully
DBB and Couteau try to attack Bully right off the bat, but are both pounded to the ground by Brown. Brown continues to assault both for a solid minute or two, finally after Couteau caught him with a chop block, the Beach Boy and Couteau start to double team Bully. They take him up top and convert with a huge double superplex at the four minute mark. Both want to cover him and it looks as though this alliance will unfold before our eyes. DBB clocks Couteau and then has him in position for the Spicoli Driver, but out of nowhere Bully is back and nails the Ghetto Gamma on DBB. He covers, but it's only 2 when Couteau breaks it up. Bully gets pissed and is beating the hell out of Cousteau, but Couteau begs off, Bully approaches and Couteau hits a low blow. He takes Bully and sets him in the tree of woe, he runs across the ring and comes back looking for the Shoulder Blade, but Bully sits up and he eats turnbuckle, Bully stands on the middle rope as DBB staggers up to his feet, Ghetto Gamma from the middle rope!! 1-2-3 at the 16 minute mark.
Winner by pinfall at 16:33 - Bad News Bully

(Devin St. Jons) Bad News Bully goes in. That match right there could be the match of the night! So far, half of our first round is done! Let's get right back to B$Y and Alexzandria to see who will be going next and seeing who is the next person to dance!

(Camera switches back to B$Y and Alexzi.)

(Alexzandria) Your friends have made it so far!

(Brandon $. Yelder) Yep, it looks good for business when the cream rises to the top!

(Alexzandria) What matches we got left?

(Brandon $. Yelder) Well, we have Synyster due up soon. And we have Terrell and Corky left. And then we have the PWR Pure Champion still around. Let's see who you pick!

(Alexzandria) Alright. Here I go!

(Alexzi reaches in and pulls out a ball. She turns to the camera, smiles and shows the number THREE!)

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
Matt Flash vs Amy Suicide vs Blayde
Flash and Suicide spend the first part of the match double teaming the bigger and stronger Executioner, only to be shoved aside and slammed around. Finally they get a break with Suicide clipping Executioner's knee as he has Flash up for a Choke slam. They both target his knee for a while before Flash sneaks up behind Suicide an goes for a Tiger Suplex, only for Suicide to block it and reverse into a big German Suplex sending Flash to the outside. Suicide goes back to work on the Executioner, with Executioner slowly mounting a comeback and finally getting his Choke slam on Suicide. Before he can pin her, however, Flash enters back into the ring and hit's the Flash In The Pan on him, and pushes him out of the ring and pins Amy Suicide and gets the cover for the win!
Winner by pinfall at 9:42 - Matt Flash

(Devin St. Jons) And our first second round match has been made. It will be the young Matt Flash taking on the veteran in Enrique DeJesus! Three more matches left! Let's take one more commercial break before we close out the first round with three consecutive matches!

:::COMMERCIAL BREAK:::

PWR WOULD LIKE TO THANK FLYLEAF FOR ALLOWING US TO USE THEIR SONG "FULLY ALIVE" FOR PWR EVIL ENDGAME! YOU CAN CATCH THAT SONG ON THEIR SELF-TITLED ALBUM IN STORES NOW!

:::BACK TO BACKSTAGE:::

(Camera opens up as Synyster walks inside the number room and sees Alexzandria and Brandon near the tumbler.)

(Brandon $. Yelder) Chief! What's good?

(Synyster) Not too much. It's a pleasure to see Alexzandria with us tonight.

(Brandon $. Yelder) I needed a "Barker Beauty," and Alexzi is always my first round pick.

(Alexzandria) Awww..how sweet!

(Synyster) But yeah, I came in here for a favor!

(Brandon $. Yelder) Really? What's that?

(Synyster) I'm getting restless. Can you just "draw" my number now. That way I can win, go back to my hotel room and get the extra good room service!

(Alexzandria) That sounds fair!

(Brandon $. Yelder) Alright, go out there. You are up!

(Synyster leaves the room as the camera switches back to Devin St. Jons.)

(Devin St. Jons) Looks like Synyster is getting some preferential treatment. Let's get down to the ring right now as Ryan Pierce, The Dark Seagul and Synyster square off to see who gets to face Marcus K. Yelder in the next round!

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
Synyster vs "The Trigger" Ryan Pierce vs Dark Seagul
These three big powerhouses come to the center and just start punching each other. Synyster gets taken to the outside and Pierce and Seagul start to go at it. Seagul takes control for a short amount of time, but then Pierce takes him out with a short arm clothesline but can only get a two count. Syn reenters and attacks Pierce, Seagul quietly rolls to the outside as Syn and Pierce go at it inside the ring. Synyster is really taking it to him, he hits three of his seven deadly sins, but all for only a two count. Pierce nails a desperation DDT and needs to take a break, he rolls to the outside as Seagul tries to pick up the scraps but only can get a 2 count. Seagul has Syn set up for the SeagulBomb, he has up in the air, but Syn punches him repeatedly and lands on his feet, hooks Seagul and nails The Second Coming. Out of nowhere, Ryan Pierce slides back in, he tosses Syn out to the outside and covers Seagul! 1-2-3! Ryan Pierce just stole that one!!
Winner by pinfall at 16:24 - "The Trigger" Ryan Pierce

(Devin St. Jons) Holy cow! Ryan Pierce, the PWR newcomer has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes and advances to the next round. Pierce has pulled out the duke and advances to the next round!

(Camera switches back to Brandon $. Yelder and Alexzandria.)

(Brandon $. Yelder) Did you just see that?

(Alexzandria) Yeah! Who is that Ryan Pierce guy?

(Brandon $. Yelder) I have no idea but I do know that he has pulled off a big upset! I'm glad someone is trying to shake up the International Division.

(Suddenly, the door swings open and in walks Corporate Crusher.)

(Brandon $. Yelder) What can I do you for?

(Corporate Crusher) Cut the crap, Yelder. You saw DeJesus STEAL that match from me. I want back in the tournament. Now I know you have the power to do it, so get to it!

(Brandon $. Yelder) Actually, I was thinking about something like that actually. Keep your eyes on the Rumor Rundown and keep an ear out on my little announcement. Should be what you are looking for!

(Corporate Crusher) Screw listening, I'll be live. You tell me to my face when the world knows!

(Crusher walks out and leaves B$Y and Alexzandria in the room. Alexzandria has a ball in her hand.)

(Brandon $. Yelder) What does it say?

(Alexzandria) Two!

(Brandon $. Yelder) Damnit, Terrell got top booking again!

(Camera switches to Devin St. Jons)

(Devin St. Jons) PWR Pure Champion in action next! Flash and McCloud reignite their rivalry but this time, Marcus K. Yelder's big bull, Chris Paige is in the mix! Let's get down to the ring right now!

PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
Duncan McCloud vs Flash vs "The Rage" Christopher M. Paige
This first round triple threat saw Flash vs. McCloud vs. Christopher Paige go at it. Flash and McCloud decided to form a bond at the start to try to take out the larger Christopher Paige. This strategy worked for a couple minutes as Flash and McCloud hit tandem maneuvers on Paige. After a double suplex, Flash floated over for a quick 2 count as McCloud was able to turn around in time to break up the three. This led to Flash and McCloud going at it. Around the 9 minute mark, McCloud had Paige trapped in the Katahajime while Flash was laid out. Paige was fading but Flash was able to get up and break up the submission before McCloud choked out Paige. With Paige out of it Flash ducked under a roaring elbow from McCloud and tossed him out over the top. With Paige just turning around, Flash locked in the Crippler Crossface. The pain was to much for Paige as he already endured the Katahijime, Paige tapped out just seconds before McCloud could make it in for the save. Flash moves on to the second round!
Winner by submission at 10:13 - Flash

(Devin St. Jons) Flash made Paige tap out! That's a huge win for Flash. So far, the second round looks competitive. Bad News Bully vs. Flash, Matt Flash vs. Enrique DeJesus and Ryan Pirece vs. Marcus K. Yelder! Only one more match left to have. Who will Nick Davis' opponent be? Will it be Kristian Jones? Will it be Terrell Yelder or will it be Corky Angle? Cameraman, get down to the ring! We have a main event to have!

:::::MAIN EVENT:::::
PWR International Championship Tournament First Round Match
"The Saviour" Terrell Yelder vs "Special Olympic Gold Medalist" Corky Angle vs Kristian Jones
All three men come to the center with a triple collar-and-elbow tieup. Terrell and Corky double hiptoss Kristian Jones, making sure that the "lightweight" is out of the way first so that the "big guns" can go at it. Jones gets back up and Terrell and Corky goes for a double clothesline. Jones ducked and catches them both with a cross body block. Terrell and Corky catch him and toss him out of the ring at the 6 minute mark. Terrell and Corky find themselves alone in the ring and begin to show why they are in the main event. Tons of chain wrestling being showcased. Terrell rolled Corky up for two. Corky hooks Terrell in a crucifix for two. Terrell pins Corky with a backslide for two. Corky goes for the Ankle Lock but Terrell rolled through. Over the next 7 minutes, Terrell and Corky put a wrestling exhibition on in the ring, much to the fans delight. The finish of the match came at 21:43. Jones is back into the ring and Corky goes for a German Suplex. Terrell grabs Corky and goes for a German of his own. Corky slammed Jones and Terrell slammed Corky. Both Jones and Angle's shoulders were down and at the last minute, Corky gets his arm up and Kristian takes the fall to Angle!
Winner by pinfall at 21:43 - Corky Angle

(Devin St. Jons) Oh man! Corky lucked out! Terrell looked to have that match won but the ring generalship of Corky Angle prevailed and Corky advances to the next round when he takes on "The Face" Nick Davis! That's all we got tonight folks! For everyone here in PWR, we wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Happy Holidays! We will see you at Evil Endgame!

(Camera fades out as Corky is shown with his hand raised and Terrell on his knees in shock!)
