DLP Tvs:
Smaller and lighter than traditional CRT TV's, DLPs are also slimmer. The picture is bright and clear. The TV itself runs cooler then a plasma. Additionally, some DLP's can integrate with your PC allowing interactivity while you watch your favorite programming and even come with built in memory card readers. DLP TVs are sometimes known as Projection - Micro Displays.


Plasma Flat Panel Tv
Capable of very large screen sizes with high contrast ratios make this a popular tv style. Some have built in memory card readers to view your digital camera pictures with. Many have built in a DVR (Digital Video Recorder). Most plasma tv's are HDTV compatible. Plasma TV's can often be hung on walls and over fireplaces. Plasma's can not be fully enclosed by cabinetry due to overheading issues. LG's PDP HDTV's offer exclusive image sticking prevention options to help reduce "screen burn-in" which plagues some Plasma users. LG's TV's are also built using an XD Engine which takes a low resolution analog signal and takes it to near HD levels providing a better, overall, picture quality.


LCD Tvs
These flat panel TV's are available in very small to somewhat large screen sizes of around 50" - 55". Many have built in DVR's (Digital Video Recorders) and are capable of showing HDTV. Some have built in memory card readers. LCD tv's offer wide viewing angles.


Projection Tvs
Using an overhead or built into cabinetry projector, these TV's are limited only by the size of the screen you purchase. This separate screen is mounted to the viewing wall and can be raised and lowered as needed, or permanently mounted into place. They offer a bright, high resolution picture quality.
