After the grueling match that saw a seesaw battle between Roberts and Streets, the masked coward finally reveled that he was none other than Renegade. He is some old foe of Streets Wilson who just happens to be the former Welter Weight Champion of the World. What does this have to do with Paul Roberts? He just happened to put his hands on “Primetime” before he attacked Streets Wilson, now regardless of the fact that Renegade draped Roberts’ arm over the chest of the fallen Streets Wilson; he has just made himself an enemy of “Primetime” and that is a place you don’t want to be. You see Renegade interfered in Roberts match, attempted to taint Roberts legacy as the greatest ever. So sooner or later he and Roberts will cross paths again and when that happens Renegade will see the end of his career so it is best if he just stays away.
Once the three count had commenced and Roberts was announced the winner of the match that he would have won regardless, and Renegade got his good for nothing ass out of the ring. Paramedics were seen attending to Paul Roberts and Streets Wilson. There is no movement from Roberts as the paramedics place him on a stretcher Chad climbs into the ring and attempts to speak to Paul, but the paramedics keep him away. They place Roberts on a stretcher and begin wheeling him backstage, once there Planet Primetime Productions cameras are waiting and they begin to roll.
 As Heat Wave goes off the air, paramedics roll the new number one contender towards an ambulance stationed backstage. Suddenly Roberts begins to flinch violently, and attempts to remove the oxygen mask from his face and unhooks the belt fastening him to the stretcher. The medics attempt to stop him. Medic #1: Mr. Roberts just lay back you may have serious injuries. Roberts rips the belts off of him and sits up on the stretcher and the paramedics stop pushing him towards the ambulance for a moment. Primetime: Get off of me you idiots! Chad: Let him up! Medic #1: Mr. Monie your friend needs medical attention-
Primetime: Like Hell I do! Medic #1: Sir, please I know what I am doing. Chad: It would probably be best if you just listen to him. Medic #1: Sir, if I listened to every athlete that thought they were fine after an incident like this there would be a lot of dead sportsmen out there. The medic turns back to Roberts to strap him down on the stretcher and Roberts quickly grabs the oxygen tank and smacks the medic upside the head with it and jumps off the stretcher. Chad: I tried to tell you. The medic falls to the ground clutching his head and begins to bleed. The other paramedics look in aw. Primetime: There tend to that guy. The medics turn and tend to there fallen co-worker. And Roberts turns and begins to walk back towards the entrance to the ramp. Chad: Paul, what are you doing? Primetime: I just became the number one contender did I not? Chad: Actually yeah, but the victory was a little tainted. Primetime: Yeah, I know I was there. Chad: Paul, come on we need to check you out. Stop come on! Primetime: Chad, you said it yourself, everyone in that arena saw Renegade get involved in my match! And now I need to answer what has just happened. I could have and would have beaten Wilson on my own, and I need to address the fans before they leave this arena tonight! Roberts walks up the stairs to the top of the entrance ramp and all of a sudden we hear “King of Kings” by MotorHead hit once again. The crowd, well the ones who have not yet begun to leave are going to get more than they paid for tonight! Roberts comes out on stage and the remaining fans roar out a mixed reaction to the new number one contender who was just moments ago wheeled out on a stretcher. Unbelievably he is walking to the ring, when just seconds ago he was unconscious. Roberts walks with a mission into the ring and is handed a microphone by a stage hand near the ring. As Planet Primetime Productions cameras pan across you can see Fred Johnson and Poppa Bonner don’t know what is going on as even they are amazed to see Roberts in the ring. Roberts finds his camera and begins to speak as Chad slowly begins walking down the ramp and climbs into the ring. Primetime: Everyone STOP! Just stop and take in what you have seen here tonight. The crowd pops knowing that they are seeing something special. Primetime: Each and everyone of you saw me beat Streets Wilson within an inch of his life here tonight, and then that ingrate Renegade interfered in the match! Streets Wilson you know just like everyone here in the arena tonight that I am better than you. I should have been named number one contender last week, but somehow you got the president in your back pocket and got this match signed. Now you got off lucky, that your old friend go involved and saved you face a little. But let me just say if you think for one second you are going to go out and say I couldn’t beet you man to man, I just have one thing to say to you….. The fans are on the edge of there seats. Primetime: Any time any place! At Redemption I will win the Universal Championship from that good for nothing paper champion Bobby Bishop. And after Renegade is done kicking your ass, come and find me if you want another shot. But this time don’t go into hiding for a week just to show your face briefly before our match. You scared piece of crap, I would be more than willing to beet you within an inch of your life again, and Renegade…you get in my face again and it will be the last thing you ever do in your career. I am the Number One contender, I am the King of Kings, and at Redemption I will be the Universal Champion. Take a look!......AT GREATNESS!! Roberts drops the mic in the middle of the ring, as “King of Kings” hits once more. Roberts shoots a blank stair into the camera and slowly walks out of the ring.
As he exits the ring the crowd in Norfolk Virginia, they are left to wonder if Renegade hadn’t gotten involved would Roberts be the number one contender right now? Perhaps the fans will get there answer when Roberts and Wilson once again meet down the road someday. But Streets Wilson is now in the past and Bobby Bishop is now in the crosshairs of Paul Roberts. All he has to do is beet he paper champion at Redemption and he will once again be holding gold on his shoulder. This week Bishop and his boyfriend Creed are tagging together against Roberts and Al Smash. Al Smash hates Bishop as much as Roberts but both Roberts and Smash want Bishop’s Universal Championship. But Roberts will be getting the shot, and Smash can continue on as the Extreme Champion. Roberts is the only man who holds a victory over Bobby Bishop and a dominating victory at that. It is only a matter of time before Roberts again defeats Bobby Bishop and the gold will go around the waist of a true champion.
