The scene opens to a simulcast of the WCF and DSW networks. Under the logo of the WCF a countdown has been started. We can only assume that this is the countdown till the time WCF reopens. And by the time on the clock it is happening very soon. But what will happen to WCF: Revolution? Well only time will tell. The scene opens inside Roberts DSW locker room for this week. Roberts, Monie, and Gross, can all be seen sitting in a circle joking and BSing. As the WCF: Revolution was a giant success and they have regained control of there company, what is next for them? What is left for them to do to the DSW? This Wednesday the DSW will crown a new DSW Champion, and he will be a WCF superstar. But as the weeks events unfold, people can only speculate to what will happen to DSW’s top prize after the WCF opens its doors once more and has there inaugural Hangover broadcast on the SEM network.
Roberts is wearing his in-ring gear, silver leather pants with blue flames around the ankles, he is wearing white sneakers and a sleeveless (WCF brand) “Primetime” Paul Roberts t shirt. He is holding the most prized possession in the wrestling business on his left shoulder, the WCF World Heavyweight Championship. One can only assume that Roberts will return to the WCF as the World Heavyweight Champion, but before that happens will he become the DSW champion as well?
Roberts can be seen laughing as the sound goes from in-audible to full sound as we can now hear the conversation.
Primetime: Yeah I know, I single handedly defeated the DSW team, the best that DSW had to offer, I pinned every single one of them!
Chad: If you ask me you are the only one who can lay any claim to the DSW title.
Primetime: Oh who really gives a crap, the DSW title, what a great prestige that is. Hey I already have the most prestigious title in the world today the WCF World Title, if I win the DSW title well yeah I can add yet another title to my list of ones that I have held, but look at what I would be the champion of! The champion of a federation that was single handedly whooped by one man! Me being that man, I pinned every one of them! It is just like Punisher said, he is trying to pit all of us against each other, but what is so rich to make us all turn on each other? The DSW title? What a great prize.
Everett: No kidding I remember the WCF, I remember matches that took people to hell. I remember PPVs with buy rates through the roof! And I remember main events that actually delivered!
Primetime: Well lets be honest this is only Deep South Wrestling, the World Championship Federation has already proven there dominance over DSW, how the hell do they think they will be able to compete with Extreme Championship Fatal Wrestling? If ECFW wants a fight, bring some to the WCF, and we will hand them there ass too!
Chad: So what of Bruce? Is he coming back seeing as how he is currently the DSW Regional and TV Champions?
Primetime: That is entirely up to Bruce, if he wants to run both schedules or if he wants to leave the DSW high and dry it is entirely up to him. But if we leave the DSW what difference will it make? There first Regional champion Mike Angel walked to ECFW and dropped the title, J.R. Rose lost the DSW Championship and left, along with his group, the next DSW Champion, Sage Siedon didn’t even have to lose the title, he left and that is why he is STILL trying to crown a champion! Why is it you suppose that MY WCF Title run is going on six months! And why? Because I am proud to be WCF World champion, the previous DSW Champions were ashamed to hold that title, when they saw it next to mine and that is why they left. It will be interesting to see what happens after this week.
Everett: So have you spoken to Trev since the deal was signed?
Primetime: Yeah, it is official the WCF is exclusive to SEM, Sports Entertainment Media. WCF Hangover and all of its logos are now a trade mark of Sports Entertainment Media. We have guaranteed TV time the roster is being assembled and the first show should be in a couple of weeks.
Chad: So are you returning as WCF Champion?
Primetime: I sure as well hope so! If he strips me of the title for the sole purpose of having a tournament with a bunch of jobbers so they can have a shot at MY title well then he might as well kiss Primetime goodbye, and we all know without Primetime the ratings he guaranteed for WCF will not deliver and WCF will go on hiatus again. He needs to do what is best for the WCF, and what is best for the new returning WCF is to keep “Primetime” Paul Roberts as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Everett: But that is a few weeks, this week you have your shot at what you have been trying to take for the last three months.
Primetime: Your absolutely right…we need to have a long well thought out conversation on what exactly I am going to do to come out with that “great” prize.
Chad: So…your in the match…
Primetime: Yeah…
Everett: Two other WCF guys are in the match too!
Primetime: So someone inside the WCF will be the next DSW Champion…
Chad: What about Rederick?
Primetime: I think Chris said he bought out the rest of his contract…
Everett: So that would mean that he is no longer in DSW…
Primetime: I think so…
Chad: That would explain why he isn’t in the match.
Primetime: I wonder why he left?
Chad: Probably because the main event competition in DSW stinks.
Everett: Ya think?
Primetime: Na, I am sure that had nothing to do with it.
Chad: You think he will return to WCF?
Primetime: Oh I would count on it.
Everett: Come on now guys we were going to focus our conversation on DSW.
Primetime: Right!
Chad: …
Everett: …
Primetime: …
They all just look around at each other for a few more moments.
Primetime: I think I will put the DSW title on a trophy shelf in my home after I win it.
Everett: Anyone else hungry?
Chad: You know…I am.
Primetime: I heard that there is a great steak house down the street from the arena here.
The three men stand up and begin to walk out the door. Everett leaves first followed by Chad, and then Paul.
Primetime: You know guys I have a feeling the first WCF Hangover on SEM is going to be AWSOME.
Paul says wide eyed. The three men walk out the door, Roberts shuts the door behind him and the scene simply fades to black.
