Principles of Wiccan Belief
1) Witches celebrate God through religious services, commonly known as rituals.
2) We live in harmony with nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment to life and are conscious of our actions at all times.
3) Everyone has the abilities of clairvoyance, telekinesis, clair-audience, E.S.P., etc... but most don't use them, and some fear these powers. Witches strive to strengthen these natural gifts.
4) We see God as having two sides -- a masculine and a feminine. We call call them the Lord and the Lady, or simply Spirit.
5) We recognize both the outer and inner worlds -- sometimes called the Spiritual World, the Collective Unconscious, the Inner Plains, etc... and we see the interaction of these two dimensions as the basis for paranormal, or supernatural, phenomenon and magickal exercises. We neglect neither dimension for the other, seeing both as necessary for our fulfillment.
6) We do not feel the need to have a central government but we do have great respect for those who teach the Wiccan beliefs.
7) We see religion, magick, and wisdom-in-living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it.
8) A Witch seeks to control the forces within themselves to make life possible to live wisely and well, without harm to other, and in harmony with nature.
9) Witches respect all manner of life, be it a bug, weed, tree, tiger, or the rude man next door. All must survive to evolve.
10) Witches are tired of others spreading lies about the religion of Wicca. There are many paths to God. We respect all other religions and in return we expect our beliefs to be respected.
11) There is no one right way to practice the Craft.
12) We DO NOT worship the devil nor belive in the Christian Satan. We believe that to give evil a name is to give evil power. We have no interest in working with, in, or through evil.
13) We do not teach our mysteries to fools, and we will exclude those who we feel are either self-destructive of whom have to potential, or history, of hurting others.
