Melissa Rigby grew up in what was once a quiet part of Langley, BC. She has lived in Walnut Grove most of her life, except the couple years she spent in Prince George. Melissa attended Walnut Gove Secondary School from 2000-2005. She held very good grades in most classes, especially the sciences, which was a future career goal. Melissa graduated from WGSS with a decent average, but not enough to get her into UBC. Kwantlen ended up being the next best, especially since it was close to home. Former dreams of getting into pharmaceuticals were washed away first semester when she realized that science really wasn't for her, and made the drastic change to business the next semester. She is currently enrolled in the Marketing Management at Kwantlen for the 2006 fall semester. She hopes to obtain a her masters in marketing and work as a pharmaceuticals representative for a drug company.
