The value of keeping things simple
One can handle simple thoughts easily, while complicated thoughts are difficult to think through. So if you keep your thoughts in a simple form which you understand well and very easily, you will be able to think through many more things than if you use complex thoughts in a difficult vocabulary. So keeping things simple increases intelligence noticeably. Common sense is especially valuable to this: with it we understand things easily, thoroughly in a way which is both theoretical and practical and we can easily commonicate with others. Typically the differencies in schooling are just differencies in the vocabulary that one uses: if the schooled one would explain all terms in a simple common sense language instead of on a difficult theoretical language, an unschooled person could understand too, and because of not getting confused by the fine terms, could maybe even understand the things more thoroughly than the schooled one who got fixed to some theory perspective and some habitual lines of thought instead of looking at things from a fresh, more practical, holistic and philosophical perspective like common sense naturally does.
