Would a school curriculum like this book interest you even if school doesn't interest otherwise? + the basics of each area of life: reading & writing, counting, science, philosophy, some language, handwork & cooking, sports and art so that one can survive and learn more if one wants to.

What to teach in school: the amount that one person eats -> how many each kind of farmers are needed in the country.
The same way about meeting other essential needs.
The needs of the whole world -> trade + local production.
Producing one thing in order to meet other needs via trade. Local strenghts and weaknesses, like climate, level of education, infrastructure, knowledge etc.
The kind of arrangements needed in a society in order for this to work: the value of justice, honesty, human values, rationality and a holistic view.
(Count separately for each amount of these, so the students can understand the connection between their own behaviour and the standard of living.
Count also what a thief can gain if the standard of living is different in the society. Compare that to what one has if one is honest in a society with a high standard of living.)
In increasing honesty and justice it is more important to support others who are honest and do things according to justice and to prevent lying and unfair ones from benefiting than to be honest and fair in everything. That way feedback from honesty and justice is positive while feedback from lies and unjustice is negative. That makes it benefgical to be honest and fair.
