Respect old symbols

When changing from an old symbol to the new one, one must pay attention also to the way that one treats the old symbol. They symbolised values that were common to the whole nation and they live long in the memories of the elderly. Putting them too much down by saying that one no longer uses such or that they are no longer valid, also puts down the values which they represent and the ways of the age when they were in use. So the officials should carefully consider what is now the role of the older set of velues and older style and not to dismiss it too lightly as if it had no value any longer while it used to be almost religiously respected and still is a symbol of many good things for many citizens.
Still, one can refer to the values in the old symbol to be a part of a much respected national heritage, a part of the nation's present day values, with maybe a different emphasis but with the same origin: the heart of the nation and what is good for the nation in the changing world. While we were happy with the old symbol in the ages untill now, we are now happy with our traditional truly respected values which our new symbol communicates in a way that is correctly understood in the present day world and which leads toward good and even higher ideals accpording to the best well-educated and moral present day understanding. Times chnage, so emphasies have to change too. That means that means of communication have to change also. And symbols have to be chosen so that they lead toward good in the present and in the future.
