Counting social communication through
THE MAIN BODY OF TWO UNANSWERED E-MAILS TO THE WHITE HOUSE:
An objective picture of social situations
As I do something and use my practical common sense picture of the world in doing it, I see what is the practical point in doing so, what the social message of doing so, what the emotional motivation for it, how it relates to customs etc. Seeing these as components of the act, I can see my own deeds via many eyes at the same time: for example via eyes that concentrate mainly on social messages but notice some of the practical side too. Or eyes that are solely concentrated on the practical side of things. Or eyes that look for the traditionality of action, seeing no other point than custom in doing things. So I know what I look like in the eyes of others and can relate to each person just the way that I intend to.
I hope that this helps You to communicate the objectivity of socially motivated actions to those who are interested in pure facts alone. By our perceptions we form a picture of the world which in turn guides our actions.
Using several pictures of the world at the same time demands a great capacity but is quite easy:
Mark in your own picture of the world what is the scope of the picture of the world of each of the other persons, what are the ways of thinking that they use and to which skill level, what kind of results they can thus get in each kind of thing, what are thus their opinions in each kind of subject, what kind of grounds they can accept and what they can build from such building blocks. Then just see your own claims so that only the things accepted by the person in question are in light and other things considered vague, seeing so which part of the message the other one will accept easily and which part will be rejected or misinterpreted and what will so be the end result of the communication to that person. A group of persons can be classified according to similarities, like a bureaucrat caring for the meeting of the needs of the people would classify, and be handled so much easier.
