The name of Helsinki

There has traditionally been a Swedish speaking upper class in Finland. Typical to them is loyalty toward Sweden instead of toward Finland. So the names of Finns have not typically been chosen well but ashtray. Especially this applies to the name of our capital: Helsinki which is near the English words "hell sin". Could one imagine anything farther away from the Finnish speaking Finnish culture? But the Finnish speaking Finns were not educated, didn't know any English...
Nowadays that we are all educated and speak English, we should be practical enough to change the name of our capital, to something which would better describe our national charachteristics, like Kallio = Cliff or Rock which all Finns would propably agree to. But even nowadays the upper class consists to a large extend of the Swedish speaking Finns - to them I count also those who speak fluently both languages since they are often culturally for Sweden.
