Hope is Our Valentine's Song

A day for love
and lovers is set aside
to praise and send gifts.
Advertisements are our guide.

But Jesus loves us everyday,
not just once a year.
Exchanging cards,
and candy roses do not bring Him near.

We turn to God
in Faith. His Spirit is our guide.
We serve Him and wait
for His return, in His love we abide.

Jesus loves us
not just one day but all year long.
Unconditionally,
is His love; hope is our Valentine’s song.
