Golden Christmas

I know it would be a Golden Christmas

If Only You could be here with me -

A Christmas like no other

In My mind I can see -

As Night Time Shadows start to fall

The Golden Glow of Christmas Eve -

 We're Standing in awe struck Silence

At  the Splendor of the tree -

Beneath the Golden Christmas tree

A Package wrapped just for you -

With tender care and a gentle touch 

And with My love so true -

But It's a dream I know this.

Your far away from me -

Alone again this Christmas eve.

I want so badly to believe-

That Dreams come true on Christmas

If only I would believe -

You would be standing here so close to me

Neath' the Splendor of the tree-

Yet, the Night Time shadows have begun to fall

I know It's Christmas Eve -

Alone again at Christmas

Your so very far from me -

There under the tree , your present

Wrapped with  a Golden Bow -

Years of love Unending

I thought you needed to  know -

Maybe,

 Dreams come true on Christmas

If only I would believe -
