Sleep fills my every thought

I am run down and lost.

Every passing moment feels like an eternity.

Sadness fills my heart.

All alone in this sleepy head.

Sometimes I feel so far gone.

I cannot get back to the point in time

where love and happiness is all I knew.

Pain and loneliness is all I know now.

Don't know if I can find my way

back home to my happy place.

Lost in this cloud of confusion and depression.

Not enough time in the world anymore.

I find myself thinking about fairy tales

and hoping for a happy ever after

but it just seems so far away and impossible.

Everything is so far out of reach.
