We lost a classmate
I read in the News Star this weekend the obituary of Glenn Kennedy. For those of you that remember Glenn, he was quite the artist as a young guy, even back at Jack Hayes. He has done some extra special art works in this area and has also been teaching art. He was like a local legend in the art field.

I did a little research on Glenn and was quite impressed with his accomplishments. Not only was he a highly regarded artist in the North La. area but he also loved to teach young students the trade at La. Tech. Glenn was know for his vivid landscapes and ability to work with other artist (something artist are infamous for not being able to do). If you do a google search you should find an article in the Monroe paper with a picture of Glenn in front of a painting of himself. Godspeed Glenn.
