 Tarot. A very contraversial subject. Either people think it's "cool", it's stupid and doesn't work, it's evil, or think nothing of it. Does it work? You bet it does. I could prove it to you. Is it evil? Ha ha ha ha... don't make me laugh any harder. It's only evil if the person themselves are "evil". All on how you use them. Yes, I'm a tarot reader. I told you I'm weird! :) Well, this is my section on tarot, as many people have questions... and misconceptions!... about the cards. For example: Many people think they're much like a "fortune teller": They kinda tell you what you want to hear, or be very vauge and general so as to hit the mark almost every time, yada yada yada. I thought the same thing. Until, that is, I made my own deck out of card paper, wrote some words on 'em, learned thier meanings, and read for myself. And you really think something is for gain if you're reading for yourself? If you do, I've gotta say... well, people say I'm weird...  This page will soon be chocked full of stuff. A FAQ, a rant about how tarot isn't evil (as many misguided folks believe), a bit of my own interpretations on the cards and some simple ways to learn how to read for yourself (and possibly others). A few of you may be wondering: Do I offer readings? And my answer is no. For now. My parents don't take kindly to me reading the tarot. While I still do it for myself, I'll honor at least part of thier wishes and not read for anyone else unless they give consent... at least, not until I move outta here. ;) ~Amy~ |
