Runaway Day

Battling Artemis can take so much out of an animal. One needs a break once in a while. Noizchild knew that very well. She already had that plan set for action. After calling in a couple of subs for her and Rob and planning the whole day, the cat was really to go. All that was missing was the mouse. Noiz knew how to get that too. The holiday took place early in the morning. The cat was sitting on the bed waiting for the right moment. Rob was taking a shower right now. His master was entertaining herself with thoughts of her being in there with him. It had been four weeks since she had been here and there was no hot action. She had the itch and it was killing her badly. But she and her hot mouse never really could find the time like they used. They both had work and students. Plus, there was the constant campaign against the pig. They barely had any time to see each other. That was why this break was really important today.

Noiz was lost in her happy thoughts when she heard the door open wide. The cat looked up annoyed. June stood in the doorway staring at her smiling. She was a short little thing. Her dull brown hair was short and frizzy. Her eyes were a stale grey. June was a plump little thing. The woman was in no danger of an eating disorder. She always dressed herself in clothes from the American 50's with her dresses and skirts. Noiz couldn't stand June at all. The sight of the woman and the sound of her voice made her want to kick a small animal. The cat just wanted to clean June up right away. The woman drove everyone insane. She had this perky sweetness to her that made one uncontrollably sick just looking at her. Noiz rolled her eyes annoyed.

"What is it, June?" she hissed at the simple-minded girl. June walked in further.

"I have came to check on you!" she called cheerfully. The cat rolled her eyes at her.

"I'm still here, right?" she asked. June checked for a few seconds.

"Yes, I guess..." she said. The cat tried not to sigh out in stress. June was never the brightest of the bunch. This moment was not helping her case at all. Noiz just shook her head at her bitterly.

"Is that all, June?" she asked trying to fake being nice a little bit longer. The other woman thought about that for a moment. Noiz watched quietly. "Come on," she thought. "Get it out now, because I don't want to hear your voice again for the rest of the day!" June tried to think of the message for a few more seconds. Then, it hit her like lighting.

"Oh!" she called. "Your former student, Mia, has left her car here over the weekend while she's away on a business trip. It's a very nice red Porche." Noiz rolled her eyes at that statement. Mia. That name had such an annoying sound to it for Noiz. She could never stand Mia for some reason. The cat even told everyone that her former student was always trying to kill her. Noiz looked at June unparsed.

"Is that it?" she asked bitterly.

"Yes!" June chirped. The cat looked unconvinced.

"Are you sure?" she questioned sharply. The woman noticed the headmistress' cold eyes. She became nervous right away. Noiz always did this to her in order to chase her off. June felt herself getting smaller by the second.

"Yes!" she cried out. Noiz kept staring right at her.

"You positive?" the cat asked her. June instantly broke up pressure.

"YES!!!" she cried out. "YES, THAT IS IT FOR NOW!!! Goodbye, Noiz!" Then, June ran away crying. Noiz just sat down on the bed smiling. "Hm, I feel better now!" the cat thought. Right then, the shower stopped instantly. The kitty looked up instantly to see her mouse in the doorway. He was only dressed in a white towel around the waist. The cat was blushing as she looked at his charming body. Rob smiled at her warmly.

"June came by here?" he asked as he looked around.

"Yeah..." his master said in a dreamy tone. Rob smiled at her kindly.

"What did she want?" he asked. The cat quickly came back to reality.

"Nothing," she said. "Just her typical annoying updates."

"Oh," Rob said. Then, he went over to the closet to get dressed. Noiz watched him happily. Then the plan came back into her head like a lighting bolt. A smile lit up quickly on her face.

"Robbie-kun!" she called aloud to him. The mouse looked up at her in the mirror.

"Yes?" he asked her. The cat stood up smiling.

"Let's run away today!" she explained. The mouse turned around to her shocked.

"WHAT?!?" he yelled out. The cat smiled at him innocently again.

"I've got it all sorted out," she explained calmly. "We both have subs in all of classes today and we can even take Mia's car. If it gets wrecked or a ticket, she'll have to pay for it herself." The mouse looked at her in surprise.

"Uh...." he said. "Well, I don't know..." Noiz walked forward and kissed the mouse on the lips. Rob instantly succumbed to his mistress in a heartbeat. She just had him wrapped around her little finger like that. The cat pulled away slowly. She smiled at him sweetly.

"So," she said. "What do you say?" Rob blushed at her lightly. He nodded quickly.

"Y-Yes!" the mouse stammered out. "I would like to go with you!" Noiz smiled at him brightly!

"Great!" she called. "Finished getting dressed and we'll go!" Then, Noiz headed into the living room part of the dorm. She smiled as she walked away. Sweet victory for the morning. Within a few seconds, Rob was dressed and ready to go. The cat turned to him smiling.

"Ready to go?" she asked cheerfully.

"Yeah!" her mouse said. Then, they both headed out of the dorm.

"Where are we going today?" Rob asked.

"You'll see in a moment." Noiz replied. "You'll see." Then they kept walking on. The day started off as normal. The students were in their right classes. Everyone was almost there. Almost... Two sensei had gone AWOL. No one noticed it until homeroom actually started. One of the interns came into Noiz's classroom with a question and found the sub. The sub looked up from her paperwork.

"Can I help you san?" she asked. The intern stepped into the room quietly.

"Uh..." she said. "Where is Noiz-san?" The sub shrugged at her in silence.

"I don't know," she said. "I was just called here early this morning."

"And she didn't explain why she was going to be out for today?" the intern asked in a panic. The sub shook her head.

"No," she said. The intern was really worried now. She quickly ran out of the room and down the hall straight to Artemis' office.

As it turns out, that intern wasn't the only one worried here. Artemis' office was packed with nine to ten interns asking about Noiz and Rob. The pig was overwhelmed pretty badly. The interns kept hounding him with many questions. Artemis thought his head would explode from so many voices. June looked at him worried. Anything could snap at any second. And it did.

"SHUT UP EVERYONE!!!" he yelled out. All of the interns went quiet in a second. Artemis looked up at them as if he was going to snap. He took in heavy and deep breaths. The man looked up at the interns again.

"I don't know where Rob and Noiz went!" he said. That answer was a mistake that added more damage to the growing situation. The angry mob became even angrier by this point. They started up yelling at him once again.

"What do you mean you don't know where they are?!?" one shouted out.

"They live in your dorm house, don't they?" another asked.

"You're supposed to keep tabs on your residents!!!" a third one yelled. The yelling went on and on. Artemis just wanted to disappear into the floor just to get away from the interns and Noiz and Rob's shenanigans. What did they have against him so badly? He was a nice and charming guy with loads of money from the animals. The pig just couldn't understand why the mouse and cat hated him so much. He just couldn't understand it.

"SHUT UP!!!" the pig yelled out again. The interns went quietly again. Artemis breathed again. That pause wasn't going to last long, however.

"So what are you going to do about it?" one of the interns asked. The pig looked at him blankly. Like usual, he didn't have an answer for the situation at hand. But then, the problem got worse. Artemis looked up in the doorway and noticed something that would worsen everything in seconds.

"Perry?" the pig asked in shock. Everyone looked up and saw the man with his drunken wife. Shannon staggered in before falling into the nearest chair that she saw. Perry looked around confused.

"What's going on here?" he asked. "Where is Rob-sensei?" Artemis looked at him with big nervous eyes. He was in deep shit now.

"So where are we going today?" Rob asked Noiz while they were driving on the road. The kitty smiled to herself wickedly as she kept her eyes on the road.

"Oh," she said. "Just to the beach." The mouse looked at her confused.

"The beach?" he asked. "Why are we going there?" Noiz just smiled again.

"Just because..." she said. Rob looked at her slightly amused.

"Oh," he said. "I see..." The cat smiled to him kindly as she just drove on. She wasn't going to tell him jack. That's how it usually was on trips like this one. She just loved to surprise him at times. The pair made it right to the beach. Noiz parked her jeep in the nearest parking space to the beach that she could find. The cat and mouse leapt out of the car quickly. They headed straight over to the beach. Noiz took off her geta and tabi when they made it to the sand. Rob took off his sneakers and socks as well. They looked all around them. There was virtually no one around. The air was warm and nice today. There was going to be no rain for the rest of the day! Noiz and Rob had smiles up to their ears. Noiz turned to him gracefully.

"So," she said. "Aren't glad I talked you into coming out here today?"

"Hell yes!" Rob said aloud. The cat smiled at his response. She lightly kissed him on the cheek. The mouse quickly blushed. Noiz smiled at her charming work. Then, she looked back up at the sky again.

Meanwhile, Artemis was still in Hell. The interns and Perry were all hounding with questions and demands for action. The pig was going to snap once again. Something had to be done now or they would all have his head. June looked on worried for him. She wished that there some way to help him out right now.

"Okay!" he said loudly. "I'll call the police!" Everyone cooled down some at that statement. That really wasn't the best solution. But, anything was better than nothing at the moment. Artemis breathed out again.

"Right," he said calmly. Then, he picked up the phone and dialed the police. Shannon finally looked up from all the ruckus.

"They're probably on a dirty weekend!" she slurred out. Everyone looked up at her as if she was crazy. The drunken tart looked around in disgust.

"Disgusting!" she yelled out. "Those two... doing it on the beach... in the middle of the day! It's just... sickening!" The tramp just fell quiet again. Everyone turned back to Artemis as he proceeded to talk to the police. Everyone had learned to ignore the drunken/drugged up slut by now. This moment was no different than the others.

Meanwhile, Noiz and Rob were still on the beach. They were lying on the sand this time. Noiz turned to her mouse smiling.

"Hey Robbie-kun," she said to him. "Want an ice cream?" Rob looked up at her at that question.

"Sure!" he called. She smiled at that reply. Noiz rose up to her feet quickly. She reached out to help him up. The mouse took her hand and she pulled him right up. He stood up right next to her.

    "Let's go!" she called.

"Yeah!" the mouse said. Then, they headed over to the ice cream booth. Noiz bought the ice creams with her money. They headed over to the pier to look at the sea below. Rob was quiet at first. But then, a burning question came straight into his mind. It had been that way for some time now. He had always kept quiet. But now, he couldn't hold back anymore. This question just had to come out now.

"Noiz-sama," Rob spoke up. The cat looked up at him gracefully.

"Hm?" she asked. The mouse paused for a moment. He was trying to word the question in a nice way so not to offend his precious cat. She was very unpredictable in her moods at times. The cat would be nice at one moment and then there turn brutal the next. This was one of these questions that would turn her pissed off. The best way to go is ask her in a genteel way.

"Why do you do the things you do sometimes?" the mouse asked his cat boldly. Noiz raised an eyebrow at him.

"Do what things?" she asked. Rob shrugged at her a bit.

"You know," he said. "Your craziness. Why do you do it?" There was a moment of silence. The mouse waited for her response. He was silently fearing the worst at the moment. But then, the cat smiled at him brightly.

"Because," she said. "Life is boring. I want to make it more exciting!" Rob looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?" he asked. Noiz took a lick of her ice cream and turned to him smiling.

"I always wanted to be different," she explained. "I was always treated like a princess. Combine that with ambition to be the independent, different, and be successful and you have a wild smoking gun. Mind you, I have always acted a bit strange throughout my childhood. But, that was how I was at times. My family tried to push me to the conservative ways. But, I didn't drink the water. I still wanted to find myself and be different. They all picked on me at school, you know. I have decided to get them back my own way." Rob looked at her silently. That was an invitation for her to talk more.

"In fact," she said. "There are only two ways to get revenge without regret: Out live your enemy and prove them wrong with your dreams. You follow me?" The mouse nodded at her half-nervous. Noiz just smiled at him kindly. She playfully pushed on him.

"Come on!" she called. "Lighten up some! I just want to try out new things and make life more enjoyable for all!" Rob finally smiled at her.

"Okay," he said. Noiz lightly kissed him on the lips with her own ice cream sticky lips. The mouse kissed her back. They seemed stuck to each other for a few seconds. The cat and mouse slowly parted. Noiz smiled at him again. She leaned in close to him warmly.

"Just stay by me babes," she said. "I'll take you for a long wild ride that you'll love for a long time!" Rob suddenly smiled at her warmly. He was beginning to like the wild ride already. And this was just the start! Noiz smiled at him again.

"Care to take a walk with me?" she asked. Rob's eyes lit up at that suggestion.

    "Sure!" he said.

"Okay then," Noiz said. "Let's go!" The mouse nodded at the offer. Then they headed away from the pier and walked back towards the beach.

By five o'clock that evening, Artemis was up to his ears in deep trouble. The interns and Perry were firing questions at him once again. He really could not keep up at all. This was just assault on his delicate brain. "Please let there be some relief soon!!!" he thought. At long last, the doors fell open instantly. Everyone looked up and saw Noiz and Rob with the police. Sighs of relief were all around. Perry rushed over to Rob.

"Sensei!" he called. "Where have you been?" The mouse was trying his best not to laugh at the simple halfwit. He shrugged at his former student.

"Out," Rob said calmly. Perry looked at him confused.

    "Out?" he asked. "Out where?"

"Just out," Rob said. Artemis stood up smiling.

"Bob, Noiz!" he called happily. "So good to see you again!" The cat just rolled her eyes at him.

"Yeah right!" she hissed. "And why the Hell did you have the police pull us over on the road and drag us back like naughty little children?!?" The pig stared at her in lost silence. She turned to the interns.

"And what are all of you staring at?" she questioned. "Get back to work!" The interns quickly left Artemis' office. Noiz and Rob watched them in silence. Once the last intern left, Rob, Noiz, Perry, Shannon, Artemis, June, and the policeman were the only ones left. The cat turned to Shannon.

"Shannon!" she explained in a fake happiness. "So good to see you again. I'm amazed that an angry wife hadn't chucked you under a bus yet!" Shannon mumbled something nasty and incoherent to the headmistress. Noiz just ignored her.

"We were so worried about you!" June cut in. The cat just kept her eyes locked on the secretary. "Sure you were!" she thought unconvinced. "More like *you* were worried about us and Artemis was worried about saving his ass again!"

"Officer," Artemis spoke up. "How are they? Will they get into trouble?" The policeman just smiled and shook his head.

"No sir," he said. "They haven't done anything illegal and Johnson-san has explained the whole situation on the way here. Everything is cleared, so good day sir!" Artemis looked slightly disappointed at that conclusion. The officer turned to leave. But then, Rob saw this as an opportunity to impress his beloved master. The mouse quickly held up his hand.

"Wait officer!" he called out. Everyone froze in their tracks. The policeman turned right to him.

"Yes?" he asked the sensei. Noiz looked at her mouse confused.

"Robbie-kun," she said. "What the hell are you doing?" Rob stepped closer to the policeman.

""You said that we haven't committed any crimes, right?" he asked.

    "No," the cop said.

"And Noiz-sama has a driver's license, right?" the mouse asked.

    "That's right," the cop said.

    "Is it expired or suspended?"

    "No sir!"

"Were we in any dangerous what so ever?"

    "No sir!"

"So if we weren't in any danger, didn't commit any crimes, and Noiz-sama had a driver's license that wasn't expired or suspended, why the Hell did you pull us over?!?" The cop stood up straight quickly.

"I was called to!" he yelled out.

"And if there was no trouble and you were called out to deal with us, what is that called?" Rob asked.

"Wasting police time!" the cop shouted.

"And who called you?" the mouse asked. The fuzz pointed right at the pig.

"He did!" the he yelled out.

"Right!" Rob yelled. "Arrest him!!!" The policeman did so in a rush. Noiz, Perry, June, and Shannon watched on as Artemis was dragged away in handcuffs. Noiz and Rob had grins up to their ears at that little moment right there. June looked pretty upset. Rob just sat back in the pig's chair and smirked. The mouse was winning the way with his lovely cat. He even decided to take her up on her mission to make life more entertaining until the very end. And this why it is important for everyone to have a break once in a while.
