Chapter Seven: The Mind of a Madman:
Aiko ran faster and faster into the woods. It all looked the same to her at night, but that wasn’t on her mind at the moment. “I have to save Ayame-chan!” she thought desperately. “Shinji could have taken her by now!” The older girl began to fear the worst for her sister. “What if he’s going to kill her and eat her?” Aiko asked herself as she pushed herself to keep running. She shook her head of those thoughts. “No!” she thought. “I have to keep going! I just have to find Ayame-chan! I just have to!” The girl pushed herself to keep running. She fled deeper into the woods. But, Shinji had plans for her as well.
Aiko kept running in the woods when she heard footsteps running behind her. At first, she thought that she was hearing things. So, she kept on running. But when she did, the footsteps grew faster behind her. This time, she paused and looked up. No one was behind her. An odd look came onto her face.
“Hello?” she asked. There was no answer. The girl didn’t trust the silence. She began to walk in caution. The footsteps started up along with her. Aiko paused again. She looked around her again. No one was in sight. Aiko still didn’t trust the silence.
“Hello?” she asked. No answer. The girl became agitated. “Okay!” she snapped. “Enough with the games! Come out and show yourself!” Suddenly, she wished that she hadn’t said that. The summer breeze suddenly breathed down her nape. Aiko froze up, feeling cold despite the warmth. For she knew that it wasn’t the breeze, but someone was actually breathing on her neck. Her mind screamed aloud in panic. Running away would be the smart thing to do right now, but her body wouldn’t move a single inch.
Suddenly, she felt somebody reach behind her and grab her violently. A heavy hand covered her mouth. Aiko tried her best to struggle to freedom. The smell of burnt flesh under her nose made her fight even more. No matter how hard she fought, this hand and body just wouldn’t let up. The more Aiko kept fighting, the more the force against her fought back. The girl eventually gave up and passed out from the spent energy and the burnt smell under her nose. She slumped against her attacker. Then, the hand slowly let go of her. Aiko slowly fell to soft, cool moss below her.
Shinji stood over her in silence. He looked his latest victim over. She looked strong and healthy for a fourteen-year-old girl. This prize looked a little tan due to the summer sun in the city. Aside from the white and dark blue booty shorts, dirty red yellow Osaka t-shirt, and brown cork sandals, she looked pretty much like a lady. The long black hair and rather trim figure told his blurred-obsessed mind so. You see, he saw his deceased beloved Emiko in hair. However, there was one little problem. This girl had her hair in a tight ponytail with a black rubber band. Emiko’s hair always flew freely. Oh well, that could be fixed along with the clothes later. Oh yes, she definitely Emiko in the flesh. He would fix her to be that way. Shinji lightly stroked her cheek. Yes, she would be perfect after he broke and married her.
Shinji then picked up Aiko by the ankles and dragged her further into the woods.
