One of them stands over me

I'm scared all over again

I clutch the sheets tightly

My heart races wildly

Sweat slowly formed on my
small body

He keeps looking over me

Please leave me alone!

He begins tapping me in the
back

"Hey!" he calls to me

"You awake?"

I say nothing

He taps me again

I stay still

The man stops

"Well, I brought you your
dinner."

I hear a tray being set
down beside me

Then, footsteps

The door slams shut
