10-12 Hours:
“A cemetery?!?” Lisa cried when the boys told her the latest news. She instantly became sick and pale at those words.
“Yep,” they all said to her. The girl shook her head at them quickly.
“No way!” she called out loud. “There is no way in hell I’m going into a cemetery to look for drugs!!!”
“But it’s our only lead now, baby,” Miguel told her. Lisa shook her head again.
“I don’t care!!!” she screamed out. “There is no in Hell I’m ever going in a cemetery for anything at all!!!” Brandon sneered at her some. Lisa glared at him as she trembled all over.
“And what are you looking at?!?” she snapped at him in a trembling voice. Brandon snickered to himself some.
“Oooo!!!” he called out. “Is little Lisa scared of graveyards?” The girl shook her head really head as she trembled again.
“No!” she shouted out loud. “It’s getting dark and I hate walking through cemeteries at night!” Miguel smiled at her kindly. He lightly stroked her hand.
“It’s okay baby,” he told her. “I’ll hold your hand the whole time.” Lisa looked at him uneasily.
“You promise?” she asked nearly pleading. Miguel nodded at her.
“Awww!” Brandon called aloud. “How sweet! I think I’m going to be sick now!” Miguel and Lisa glared at him coldly. The boy quickly became little worried.
“Okay, okay!” he called out loud as he waved his hands in the air. “I was only playing with you guys! Lighten up! Geez!!!”
“Just take us to the graveyard!!!” Miguel hissed at him. Tom shrugged at him in silence.
“Fine,” he replied. “Follow us!” Tom and Brandon led the way down the street. Billy, Miguel, and Lisa followed behind quietly. The walk to the cemetery only took about thirteen miles. In the setting sun, this place looked pretty normal. It was the nightfall that had Lisa worried. She hated the graveyard at night. She wouldn’t even take the shortcut home through it then. The girl always took the long way home under the street lights at night. Her grandmother had told her too many stories about young women being attacked in a cemetery at night when they walked through all alone. Such horror stories stayed with the poor girl ever since. That grew into the reason why Lisa became scared to death of graveyards. Miguel let go of her hand and turned to the group.
“Okay everyone,” he said. “We will split up and look for the drugs.” Lisa looked at her boyfriend pale at that one. She quickly shook her head at that one.
“No!!!” the girl mouthed at him. “No!!! No!!! NO!!!!!!” Miguel noticed his girl’s face expression and worry in her eyes. He held up his hand some.
“Don’t worry, baby!” Miguel said out loud. “We will split up into groups.” Lisa relaxed again. Miguel spoke again.
“Lisa, you will go with Tom and Brandon,” he announced out loud. “I’ll go search with Billy. Everyone understand?”
“Right!” the other agreed. Miguel clapped his hands together loudly.
“Okay!” he said. “Let’s go!” The group of friends split up and began the search for the missing drugs. This is where things began to turn ugly for everyone. Some embarrassing truths and nasty secrets can certainly ruin it all. Man, secrets and the truth can be such a bitch sometimes.
