Before
I get into the main part of this article, it bears repeating
why I believe certain things
are wrong:
- I
believe in an absolute moral law-giver (GOD), who
has given a moral law for those He created (all
humanity).
- I
believe that this moral law is contained in a written
form called The Bible.
- Thus,
any moral issue must first be judged according to
this written Word of God.
- Therefore
sodomy and lesbianism are wrong FROM THE WORD OF
GOD. (GOD
SAYS SO, I believe HIM!)

Note: Throughout this article I will use the terms sodomite(s)
or sodomy. Even though they refer to the male, I will
use it to mean both "homosexuals" and "lesbians"
purely for brevity sake.)
First,
some Biblical references:

PART
I : Christianity and Sodomy do NOT MIX
If
one reads the above passages WITHOUT any ulterior motives,
you cannot come to any other conclusion than that sodomy,
adultery, lying, etc. are SIN. Surely if you agree that,
for example, murder is wrong as in one or two of the
passages above, then sodomy is also wrong. It is not
referred to separately at all. It is simply part of
the listed sins.
With
regard to sodomy in Romans 1:26,27, only plain homosexual
activity is referred to; nothing else. It is not qualified
by "(homosexual) rape" or "wrong motives"
or anything else. The same applies to the Corinthian
and Timothy passages.
There
are some "homosexual" churches (???) out there,
some of which are gaining in membership. Remember,however,
that "NUMBERS" mean NOTHING to God. God looks
at whether you are OBEDIENT to His Word. Remember what
happened when David numbered his large army to see how
many troops he really had. It was not sanctioned by
God and MANY DIED!!
Just
as an interlude: If you are a homosexual or lesbian
reading this article, remember that you do
have options, including celibacy. Remember that the
Bible condemns the BEHAVIOUR of the sodomite :(1Cor
6:11 And such WERE
some of you:... ) According to Scripture, you
can change!!!!! Plenty of EX-homosexuals and EX-lesbians
DO EXIST!!! So this refutes the notion that you were
made this way and that you cannot change.
COMPROMISING
PASTORS BEWARE: JESUS DID
ADDRESS HOMOSEXUALITY!!
- Scripture
ref (1): Jesus said that God's plan is the joining
of one man and one woman, NOT man and man or woman
and woman.
- There
are many issues that Jesus did not specifically
address, such as bestiality, drug use, incest etc.
Many sodomites will agree that these things are
wrong. However, they (as Jews) would automatically
have known which things were wrong from the Law
(Old Testament). These things would not have been
an issue, so He did not have to cover those things
that were not an issue. So, just because Jesus did
not, for example, say that bestiality is wrong,
does not mean that it is right!
- Jesus
is God!!! He is the WORD (John 1). Therefore HE
gave the Leviticus passages also!
Remember:
We MUST inform the unrepentant sinner of the consequences
of his actions:

the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters,

ALL
sinners (i.e. ALL OF US) who do not repent of
their sin will face a destiny in HELL !! (Yes, Hell
is a REAL place!)
PART II : Nature and Society
The
10% right?
Many
pro-gay articles refer to a figure of 10 or 11 percent
of the population that are "homosexual" or
partly so. This is based on a flawed
1948 study by Alfred Kinsey.
His figures were greatly inflated and were based on
males between 11 and 55 years old, with 25% being prisoners
(many sex offenders). Thus his study group was not fully
representative of true society. Even based on his
figures, only 4% were exclusively homosexual.
Another
(American) study in 1993, found that of those surveyed,
only 1% claimed to be exclusively homosexual.Various
other studies have had similar results.
In
any case : NONE OF THIS MATTERS !!!!! According to the
Word of God, 100% of us
are SINNERS! This obviously
does not make sin right!
Born
that way?
Contrary
to popular belief, NO STUDY has conclusively proven
that a "gay gene" exists. A study done on
genetic twins found that there was only a 50% chance
of both twins being "gay", even if raised
in the same home. Surely the odds should be near 100%
if sodomy is genetic?
PART
III : Homophobia
HOMOPHOBIA
= FEAR OF MAN!! (lit)
Even
if it meant "fear of homosexuals", I would
NOT be homophobic. I HATE sodomy ON THE GROUNDS OF SCRIPTURE!
I do not "fear" those who perform this abomination.
I am
fearful of what will happen to them if they do not repent
of their sin!
PART
IV : Rights and more
It
is interesting to note that sodomites do not really
want equal rights (like the rest of us have) - they
ALREADY have them: eg:
they
have the SAME right to marry a person of the opposite
gender as the rest of us do; they have the SAME right
to ask for criminal action against those who steal from
them; etc. They actually want SPECIAL RIGHTS. Why not
have special rights for thieves, for murderers etc?
This is the reason why many TRUE Christians have taken
on this issue so strongly. Sodomy is one of the few
sins that actually has a "rights" group or
a "pro" activist group.It thus needs to be
fought all the more strongly, even though it is still
just as much a sin as all the others.
I
remember when sodomy was never seen on TV (not too long
ago!) This issue and others were slowly introduced and
made acceptable. What happens when these issues are
challenged legally? The "pro" lobby usually
wins because of the now (supposedly) acceptable nature
of these things. Mostly, I think, it is the APATHETIC
APOSTATE nature of most Christians today. They do not
see God as HOLY, JUST AND RIGHTEOUS. They just sit and
watch their TV and mindlessly swallow anything that
is shown. The same applies to what they read in books,
magazines etc. They do not realize that they are condoning
the disgusting things we often see and hear in the media.
PART
V : Some Possible Social and Religious Consequences
if Homosexual and Lesbian "Marriages" Are
Legalised
Recently(2005)
there was an attempt to legalise the "marriage"
between two lesbian women in this country. One wonders
what would have happened if their case (or a case with
two men) were to be completely accepted and made legally
binding? Would one then have some of the following scenarios?
1)
Since marriage has been redefined to mean something
else in addition to that between two people of opposite
genders, is it not discrimination against those who
have a group relationship of more than two people who
love each other and live together (eg. polygamy or
another type of relationship such as a couple of men
and women together) ? {{far-fetched?.....I wonder}}
2)
Children will become totally confused as to their sexual
identity and their relationship to their parents'
partners - it is not uncommon for sodomite people to
each have many partners. The children will eventually
have no stable family to rely on. This scenario will
lead to disfunctional children who will then play out
their natures in society by any means they wish( crime,
disobedience etc.)
3)
The health system can possibly collapse. Since marriage
would then be anything you like, all partners can claim
the same benefits that a normal spouse would. Eventually
the health system would be so overburdened by many people
relying on one person's medical benefits (especially
with AIDS so prevalent), that it could collapse.
4)
Other legal benefits will accrue to all partners such
as inheritance rights, custody of children, citizenship
of a spouse, tax rights etc.
5)
The sodomite agenda will then introduce more and more
outrageous things to our society since they have managed
to destroy the Biblical marriage. Eventually the government
will have nothing to do with "normal" marriage
and marriage will simply be something you have
like a fishing license!
6)
Children would be taught in school (by law!) that
it is "normal and healthy" to have a sodomite
relationship; in fact, just as normal as that between
a man and woman. Parents who object would be branded
as bigots and may possibly be subjected to "re-education"
to fix their "deviant" views on sexuality.
7)
The reading of Bible verses specifically condemning
sodomy would be outlawed (AS IT ALREADY IS IN CANADA
AND IS BEING CURRENTLY PUT THROUGH AS LAW IN A NUMBER
OF OTHER COUNTRIES!!)
One
will have ministers ( and ordinary Christians) thrown
into jail FOR READING THE BIBLE OUT ALOUD!
Most
of the above is speculation, except point 7. In Canada,
a pastor is (at the time of writing this article - mid
2005) facing jail for reading a passage of Scripture
condemning sodomy. THIS IS TRUE. Other countries may
eventually follow this example in legislating against
"hate speech", thereby making Christians guilty
of showing hatred by preaching the Gospel in love. NOWHERE
do we condemn the person, WE CONDEMN THE SIN - NOT SINNER,
although the sinner must first repent of his sin before
entering the kingdom of God..
I
conclude with a quote I read somewhere (can't remember
where):
IF
MARRIAGE CAN MEAN ANYTHING, THEN IT REALLY MEANS
NOTHING !

UPDATE:
As of this update (Early November 2006), the government
has only a few weeks left to amend the Marriage Act
as per the instructions of the Constitutional
Court of South Africa (highest court of the country).
It looks as if the sodomite lobby may have gotten its
way. In any case - we must all pray for those Christians
among us who may be victimised in the coming years for
placing God's laws above that of man!
