The original Northcoast name was kept in service until 2005, when the Company relaunched with the Revol brand, new plans and many new towers. Currently, Revol has coverage in and around the cities of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo and Youngstown, Ohio. As Revol is not a MVNO, it actually owns and operates its own tower system, through purchases of part of the Cricket network and its own holdings gained from Northcoast PCS. Recently it seems that it started to use some of Cricket's networks, and in essence is a MVNO in some of it's coverage areas. Revol offers unlimited roaming on its own network for a fee, though currently roaming off-network is impossible.
