PGSM - Act Twenty-Three
Usagi recaps. Ami has been brainwashed and wants to fight them, but no matter what, Usagi cannot fight against her.
Usagi says that Ami has always believed in them, so if they work together, they will be able to get Ami back.
Mamoru enters his apartment to hear piano music. A ghostly Zoisite is in his bedroom, playing the piano. This time, he doesn't stop playing as he addresses Mamoru as Master Endymion.
After the theme song, Zoisite continues to play. He's glad that he has found Mamoru. He wants Mamoru to remember a time when his name was Endymion.
The rather puzzled Mamoru asks Zoisite how he knows all of this.
Zoisite says that they knew each other long ago, and he usuaes his music to try to remind him.
The moment is interrupted by Hina. He rushes out so that she doesn't come in and see Zoisite, and in process knocks a bag of oranges all over the place.
Zoisite continues to play, even though he was interrupted.
Beryl, Kunzite, Jadiete and Nephrite look up at the sound of piano music.
Piano music in the Dark Kingdom means only one thing: Zoisite has revived. Metallica's powers have brought him back as she gets progressively stronger.
Beryl praises Jadiete for gathering energy for them.
Nephrite does not get praise. Beryl isn't too happy with his lack of results. Once again he promises to get the Mystical Silver Crystal.
Jadiete comments that he's doubtful about that.
The alliance between the two shitennou has been broken.
After being dismissed Nephrite wanders off to vent. Everyone is against him. As he walks along, he runs into Darkury.
She offers to give him some advice, but he brushes her off. He doesn't want anything to do with anyone who has anything to do with Kunzite.
Darkury tells him not to touch the senshi - she wants the pleasure of destroying them herself.
At Crown, Luna says that it will take everyone's power to return Ami to normal. Sailor Moon's true power was able to return Mercury to normal for a few seconds, so if they all release their true power, it should be enough.
Rei and Makoto agree. They need to try to wake their true power... but how?
As Rei goes home, she's happy to see a woman and a young girl. It seems the girl was in the hospital, but she's doing much better now. The little girl says that Anio Minako visited her while she was in the hospital.
Rei hurries to the hospital, just in time to catch the tail end of a concert that Minako is putting on for the sick children.
While she's watching Minako give out autographs, a little girl comes up to Rei and asks for her autograph.
The mother asks if she's Mars Reiko-san, an idol like Minako. That's what Minako said after all.
Rei pounces Minako after and demands to know why she was telling people that Rei was famous - and then she asks why Minako goes to the hospital every month.
Minako says that she gets a check up for her condition, and as long as she's there, she tries to cheer up the sick kids.
She adds that she's surprised that Sailor Moon was the first to wake her true power - Minako thought for sure that Rei would be first. She suggests that maybe Rei isn't cut out to be the leader.
A nurse and three kids hurry over to Rei asking if the rumors are true: Is she going to have a live mini-concert at the hospital?
The children are looking forward to it.
Rei tries to say that she's not famous, but the nurse says it doesn't matter. Anything to cheer the children up.
Rei is not happy, and she tells Minako so in no uncertain terms, but Minako isn't bothered.
Alone at Crown, Rei decides that she will not let Minako get the best of her. She'll do it.
It's a good thing that Crown is a karaoke parlor - she'll be able to practice.
So she turns the stereo on and is blasted off her feet by the volume... three times.
At the hospital, Minako is worried that she has gone too far with teasing Rei.
Meanwhile, the doctors are quietly looking at the results from her test. Six more months. Just as they feared.
Then she faints
Mamoru cautiously puts his key in the lock of his apartment, but he doesn't hear any piano music. He goes into his living room - still no piano music.
It isn't until he sits down on the couch that it starts.
Zoisite wants him to remember a time, long ago, when his name was Endymion.
Mamoru is sure that Zoisite knows something, but the name Endymion doesn't sound familiar.
He looked at his passport. Even though he has found out his past, there's nothing he can do about it now.
Rei has taken shelter from the evil karaoke equipment. She has decided that she needs help, so she calls Usagi.
An excited Usagi hurries to Crown, flashes her pass at the turtle, and hurries into the senshi's room.
She's so excited about Rei doing a concert. She unpacks her bag, coming out with a large collection of CDs, determined to make Rei's show the Best Show Ever.
In the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite rather dramatically summons forth a youma
Rei practices singing under the supervision of Usagi and Luna. They think that Rei is a decent singer, but her appearance - her expression - is a bit menacing.
Rei sighs. She has to do this, she just wishes she could have done it without asking for help from Usagi and Luna.
But the time of the concert is growing near, and the girls hurry off to the hospital where the kids are already gathering.
Usagi gives Rei an image on her phone for a costume to wear to the performance. It's black and red. With a red cowboy hat.
Rei takes a deep breath and heads off.
Usagi tells her that she's glad that Rei called her for help - it showed that Rei trusts Usagi.
With that, Rei heads out onto the makeshift stage.
Rei remembers when Minako asked her if she was missing anything, and she realizes what it was. Trust.
With that, she goes off to sing. (And she sounds great!)
During the middle of her concert, Luna senses a youma. Usagi signals to Rei to keep singing a bit longer while Usagi goes to investigate.
Rei nods and keeps singing.
Minako and Artemis sense the youma as well. Minako springs out of bed and Makes Up in a slightly abbreviated sequence.
She blasts at the youma without too much effect, when Usagi and Luna run into the hallway.
Usagi Makes Up and joins in the fight.
Now that there are two senshi, the youma runs away until they're in a lobby more suitable to the usual Sailor Moon style of fighting (Meaning Cartwheels).
Moon and Venus get on either side of the youma and blast it with Moon Twilight Flash and Venus Love-Me Chain respectively.
The youma explodes.
Venus looks happy about this, until she looks down. Following her lead, Moon looks down to see that her feet are stuck in green goo. She can't move.
For some reason she turns around and sees Nephrite approaching.
He caught them. This time he's not just out for the MSC and the princess - this time he's cross that they have made him lose favor with Beryl.
He walks calmly towards Venus when a blast of fire from Mars stops him. It seems Rei has finished her concert.
Mars does her full intro: “Senshi of Flame and passion - Sailor Mars! In the name of Mars, I shall punish you” And for no apparent reason, there is a helicopter flying past.
Nephrite and Mars face off. (Red vs Red) Nephrite generates a bolt of power, but Mars does the same, in a very prettily animated sequence.
She throws a huge fireball at him, breaking through his power and sending him fleeing.
Moon and Venus notice that the goo is gone and they hurry over to Mars. Mars has woken her true power. She needed to learn to believe in her friends.
Venus tells her that while she has woken her true power, there is still a lot she needs to remember.
With that, Venus picks up Artemis and walks off.
Sailor Moon is excited. Once Makoto wakes her true power, they'll be able to get Ami back... and then they can all do karaoke together!
Mars reminds her that she hates karaoke. She only sings on special occasions, and she's not going to do it again.
Moon does her famous whine and chases after Mars
Nephrite staggers back home to the Dark Kingdom, injured by Mars's flame.
He collapses to the ground just as Darkury walks over to him.
She looks down at him and scornfully calls him pathetic before walking off.
Nephrite struggles to his feet and creates a weapon - something which looks like a buzz saw on a stick.
He follows Darkury and takes a swing at her.
