Her Achievements
During the 1st Indian Idol auditions, which started on 25th of feb, 2005, Prajakta was studying science in class XII in Jabalpur..After Indian Idol she has received "Lata Mangeshkar" and "Jagjit Chitra Gazhal" awards from M.P. Govt..Now this time, she had shows in Bangladesh and Thailand too..Her carrier in mumbai industry starts with a sony tv. serial "Rihaee" where she had a part of a new celebrety who have seen murder of her model friend by her own eyes and coz of that the murderer want to kill her in any coz..She really did a nice job in that episode.. The director of the serial Guroudev Bhalla agrees that if she come to that field, she must become a good actress, he really surprised by her acting ability throughout the shooting..It's really a great start of her carrier..Now, let's talk about her singing carrier..Her 1st perfomance as a playback singer is in Shaadi No. 1 by David Dhawan..Annu Malik gave her the break..But, it seems not very well..and after that again Annuji gave her a chance in the film Jaan-e-Mann in the song Kabool kar le..actually it was sang by Udit Narayan, Amit Sana, Rahul V. and herself..that was good in my opinion, but she didn't get a real breakthough as a solo performer..But, the good news comes accross, her 1st album has released on 9th Feb, 2007 named "DHAKKA" featuring 3 brand new songs with old remixes and duet performance with Abhijeet Sawant and Rahul Vaidya..The song ithhun dhakka, a marathhi folk song has already become super hit and other songs like Gajab Hua, Jaana, Kuch to kaho can easily build a melodious world.. It also prooves by the video of the dhakka song that she can dance very well..In the recent top 10 desi pop song list, she earned 7th position, it's really a great news..And that happens again, her success..at last she has got a good composition in the title song ...Kajjaal of the sony tv serial "Kajjal" and this was too composed by Annu Malik..He really likes Prajakta singing ..This song was really good, melodious, soft, very nice ..Now this time she have a no. of shows in various cities in hand..Recently she had a tour in Indonesia, after her foreign tour like Bangladesh, Thailand..Every muziklovers would accept my opinion that, she really capable for earning some good playback opportunaties..
