Okuden:
Hatsurei-Ho - This is the cornerstone of Mr. Usui's practice. Mindfulness meditation, strengthening the Reiki Channel and self empowerment are what these techniques help grow. There are several parts to Hatsurei-ho that one learns.
Koki-ho is the 'healing breath'.
Gyoshi-ho is 'healing with the eyes'.
Heso Chiryo-ho is 'naval healing'. It is wise to get written consent of the client prior to performing this method.
Hara Chiryo-ho is a de-poisoning technique.
Uchi te, Nada te, Oshi te Patting, stroking and pushing with the hands. You may want to check with the local massage board of where you are practicing because these techniques may actually be 'regulated'. Where I live and teach, it is not necessary to be a Certified Massage Therapist unless you call yourself a Massage Therapist and call your practice massage Therapy. These rules are different in each state and country though.
Seiheki Chiryo ho is a more indepth study of Reiki's emotional techniques.
Enkaku Chiryo-ho is distant reiki. I use my 'Reiki Buddy' for this technique :) This technique was very common with Mr. Usui. It was said that he used Enkaku chiryo-ho even it the person was in the next room.
Ketsuiki Kokan-ho is the blood cleansing technique. This is done at the end of a session and I must say it is my favorite. Once again though, this is subject to the laws that govern massage and body work within your practicin jurisdiction.
Kotodama or 'word spirit' is a mantra that Mr. Usui taught in his Okuden Lessons and one I also teach.
Once knowledge of the above techniques are shown than the Level Two - Okuden Rank is earned.
