| The Business of Technology |
The LaSalle Pubic Library, in partnership with the LaSalle Business Association, is pleased to offer LaSalle businesses the opportunity to enhance their employee’s computer skills through free training classes. From data received from a recent survey sent to LaSalle businesses, classes have been developed in several areas to meet your needs. For more information view the computer skills classes page.
Classes will be offered from February through early June 2008 in General Computing, Microsoft WORD, Microsoft EXCEL, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft FrontPage, and Microsoft Outlook. All classes are free and will be held in the LaSalle Pubic Library’s meeting room.

This years Haunted House was a great success.
We would like to thank all the people/groups who helped make it possible.
Vendome Group for use of the building
Two Fools for monetary donation and sponsoring a night of staffing.
The LP Band Parents for staff volunteers and for creating a concessions area.
The Phoenix Group for sponsoring staffing for a night
Cadillac Custom Tattoo for sponsoring staffing for a night

Ed & Jason from Opperation Clause for all your help in set up and staffing.
The City of LaSalle for storage of materials
Ptak Funeral Home for the use of the coffin
Russ from Water Street Pub for donation of a coffin
Vic Popp, Chris Masters, Corey Lenard(Magic By Cory), Crystal Krogulski, Roger Bergeron, Lenny & Karen, Woody and everyone else who helped with creative design and staffing and donations.
LBA Members Dan Burke, Mark Kotecki, and Iggy Meyer for design, staffing, administartion and all else. They did a great job putting this together.

LaSalle Business Association members had an incredible opportunity to listen and interact with our Congressman, Jerry Weller, on business issues in Congress.
This was a chance to showcase our association and the goals we are trying to achieve for our business community here in LaSalle
