Officer Galleogs started working for the Las Animas Police Department on December 12, 2005. Gallegos grew up in Las Animas. He left Las Animas in 1998 to enter the Army. After leaving the military Gallegos moved back to Las Animas to serve on the Las Animas Police Department and be around his family.
