Lee Byung Hun and Jun Ji Hyun expected to do well in Hollywood
According to an entertainment report in the U.S, the hallyu wave had started to hit Hollywood. Among all the Korean stars, Lee Byung Hun and Jun Ji Hyun is expected to be well received by the westerners.
According to the report, Lee is famous after he stars in “No Regrets” and “JSA swat force” as a leading actor. Both movies were well received and the west had deep impression of him. Lee agency had started to see if there is an opportunity to make some movies together.
As for Jun, she was announce as the Korean Beauty recently, had started to polish up her english to prepare herself to break into the west market. Her agent wanted her image as to be the beauty of the east and break away from her norm “Stubborn Girlfriend” character to accommodate to the taste of the west.

Ryu Si Won shared on his success secrets
Before Ryu celebrate his belated birthday last Monday he speaks on how he successfully maintain his career between two countries.
He believes that as long as ones used the right way everybody can also be successful. He speaks on that he do not know the absolute success secret but after he stays in two different country for two years, he realized that if want to be successful, ones had to adapt to the country culture and the way they live their life.
He also says that if he is stubborn and insist to live the Korean lifestyle in the other country then he will only get limited opportunity.
Lastly Ryu shared his experience saying that he had spent more than 10 years in Korea without any helpers to arrange his schedules however after signing agreement with the Japanese company he follows the Japanese style to work on. He says this might be his secret of success.

Korean Beauty for China, Japan and Korea

Three countries (China, Japan and Korea) in Asia had selected their preferred beauty on the Korean Stars. At the MBC 45th anniversary special program they had selected the beauties based on their special features.
Korean ladies felt that Kim Tae Hee has the best face features, Chinese ladies preferred Kim Hee Sun facial features while Japanese ladies likes Jun Ji Hyun who has beautiful skin tone and cute face. According to the latest plastic surgery survey, these are the features that the ladies of the countries usually go for.

Kwon in torch relay for Doha Asian Games
Kwon Sang Woo was in a torch relay for the “15th Doha Asian Games” last Saturday in Fusan. He had attracted hundreds of media to the scene. Kwon was wearing red and white sports attire manage to get the torch from Three Stars Electronics’ boss and runs 400m and pass it to the next person. There are around 300 fans including fans from China and Japan cheering for Kwon at the scene.
Since it is not allowed to have cameras inside, a 60 year old lady had fell down as the scene was too crowded but she didn’t hurt herself and when interviewed she said that her idol is very charming.
After finished running the required distance, Kwon says that he is not tired after the run instead he would like to enjoy the Fusan international film festival.

Lee Young Ae old picture exposed
Korean actress who is famous with “Da Jang Geum” in Asia, had her old pictures exposed.
magazines had found that when Lee stars in her first movie “Insh Allah”, she was having a few passionately kissing scene which cause some of her beautiful body exposed to the camera.
The movie was shot in 1996 where Lee’s role is a Korean graduate went to Algeria for a holiday but unfortunately was mistaken as a trafficker. She then runs away with the Korean ambassador which was acted by Choi Min Su. There is a scene where Lee and the leading actor have a passionately romantic kiss in the middle of dessert.
It is said that Lee sacrifices had made the movie a success at that time.

Hyun Bin hope that his new drama will be well received
After shooting “My name is Kim Sam Soon” a year ago, Hyun Bin had proceed with his new movie “Snow Queen” which will be released next month 13th.
Hyun had accepted a different kind of role in his new drama which he will have a boxing character. Hyun will need to have mustache in the new drama. He is now a bit worried that his new drama won’t be well accepted by viewers but he hope that this new drama will leave a deep impression on the viewers

Jang Dong Gun and Jo In-Sung compete in beer sales
Jang and Jo had become the two big Korean beer brand spoke person. Jang’s advertisement had been released last month while Jo’s will release by 16th.
Jang’s popularity had gained him “the most wanted spoke person”. Some says that Jang in this advertisement had made him more approachable.
Jo is popular among the 20s and 30s beer drinker. In the advertisement he was a happy bachelor.

Kwon Sang Woo clarify: the ladies are his fans
Earlier this month a japan newspaper made a headline saying that “Drunken Kwon spent a night with 11 ladies”. Last Sunday, Kwon replies in his website saying that the pictures was caught by the paparazzi 10 months ago when he was doing some promotion over in Japan. He says he gets drunk very easily and the ladies are his fans. He also mentioned that the Japan media purposely release such pictures to spoilt his image and he sounds very disappointed.
This is not the first time that the Japan media announce such news towards the Korean actors, the popular Lee Byung Hun had such an encounter before too.

During Kwon stays in Japan, he had visited a Tokyo Night Club, after finished drinking and karaoke session he got drunk and fall to a guy’s lap. After partying with 11 ladies, he disappeared into the street with a pretty girl. The article also shown the pictures Kwon falls into the guy and he stands between the 11 ladies at the party.
When the news first spread at the 5th this month a lot of the Japan and Korea media wanted to interview Kwon and demand a confirmation on the news, however on the 8th around 9pm Kwon made his replied in his website to his fans:
Today is 8th Oct, the pictures that the article shown was capture 10 months ago when I was doing some promotion. It is very weird, if they think that I have a bad attitude, they should do it 10 months ago but not now, why do they have to wait until today? Talking about drinking, I am not good in drinking in fact I am sensitive towards liquor, just a little bit of liquor will make me drunk, after drunk I just lie down, is it wrong?
About the 11 ladies, they are my contract staff with KSJ and they are also my fans. Regarding the pretty lady that disappear in the street with him he says “ I don’t know how to speak Japanese and I also don’t know where I am at that time, I will have to follow someone, else I don’t know where to go.”
Later Kwon makes another remark saying that he will make good movies and drama as a return to those who loves him. To lead a life until hundred years is already difficult, as such I will not want to leave the rest of my life in pain. I will pray and look on a brighter side of life but seems like the world is more complicated that I had imagine.
Korean fans had leave messages, flowers and presents to console Kwon. Kwon’s agent will filed against the Japan media through their legal department about this.

Hyun Bin says he will cook for his future girlfriend
Report says Korea famous bread chain Paris Baguette had held a function that called “Making breakfast and lunch with Hyun Bin”.
Hyun who is the spoke person for the brand attended the function as the brand was celebrating it’s 20th anniversary.
The function is not announced beforehand however when Hyun appears, there are more than 300 fans attended this function, these includes around 40 Japanese fans who cater a bus and waited for him to appear since dawn the day before.
Some is shock to see how well Hyun handled the baking procedures, Hyun commented that due to his irregular working schedule and insufficient meal time, in order to be more healthy he usually cook up some simple dishes especially for breakfast and lunch. He also add on saying that if he has girlfriend he will use his baking knowledge that he had learned today to cook up some romantic breakfast and lunch for her.
Hyun Bin’s new movie “Snow Queen” is scheduled to be released by 12th this month.

Lee Bo Young in Taiwan to promote new drama
Recently, Lee Bo Young went to Taiwan to promote her new drama “Seo Dong Yo” or more famously knows as “Ballad of Seo Dong”. Lee character in the movie is a sweet and kind-hearted princess who loves her people.
Like her character in the movie she appears easy-going and she does not like spicy food like all other Korean actresses.
Since drama “Seo Dong Yo” released in Taiwan, rating goes up exponentially. Those who had watched the drama even came to the airport to see her. The sweet-looking Lee is already a famous advertisement model, some says that she will eventually become the successor of Lee Young Ae in this field.
Lee is getting more and more popular especially after starring as a supporting actress in “Save the last dance for me”. The movie director of this new drama and who also directs the all time famous “Da Jang Geum” praised her on her good acting skill. Viewers like her new appearance and character in this new drama.
