I first met Katie when I was singing with John Ourensma
and his choir at First Presbyterian. One particular Sunday she played
the flute, and I thought to myself "Wow! She's really good!" After the
service I saw her in the hallway and told her what a wonderful job she
had done. We've been friends ever since! Katie, you have been a wonderful friend over the years, and I am extremely happy that you are part of this day. |

We've had some fun times, like walking in circles in Prague, or trying
to find headstones in cemeteries. You're taught me a lot. I admire your
sincerity and kindness.
