Who is.. 'Grumpy' ?
Born: Sept. 15 1938 in Hoboken, New Jersey
The home of Frank Sanatra (for you older folks)
Spent 4 years in the U.S.A.F. at Warren Air Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming at Air Training Command.
Made airman 1st, and then lost it. I had a temper back then, its never a good idea to punch your CO even if
he's wrong and your right.
After service went home and married S.W.M.B.O - 49 years later we're still together
I have no idea how that happened even today.
We have 2 boys and a girl
8 grandchildren
&
2 great grand kids.
I retired 8 years ago due to health.
Due to diabetes and and a few other things.
Before that spent 30 years on the road with an 18 wheeler I called "Baby".
I traveled all over the United States and Canada, hauling latex and naphtha.

Wasn't long after that I found Joint-Ops, I really wish I could remember how I found it but it was nearly 4 years ago!
Started out with CFS 1 (Combat Flight Simulator) and worked my way up to Wing CO when Joint-Ops had ranks. Moved over to Il-2 in 2006.
If it hadn't been for JO I would have withered away for having nothing to do.
I found some good friend and I wouldn't trade any of them for a million dollars.

It's always surprised me just how much I've learned here at Joint-Ops and recently I've been helping out with Basic Flight School and hoping to put back some of what I've gotten out.
As for the future, well I hope to be here well into my 90's. Of course, Lord willing and the creeks don't
rise!
