Who is.. Wayne 'NightCat' ?

Born on November 14th in 1974 (Scorpio / Year of the Tiger)
I was 2 weeks late - 5 minutes before I was going to be removed by force with a man with a small knife! I panicked and broke something.. so ended up making my escape over a 24 hour period where I was threatened to be removed again by the man with the small knife who seemed just wanting to cut me out! - I did manage to make it out in a natural way.
10lbs of NightCat was inflicted on the world in the middle of the night.
Place of Birth: Radovljica, Slovenia
Current Location: South West England, Great Britain
I moved to England when I was 4, my mother came too who later on returned and left me in care with numerous foster families over the years.. I tended to be given back to social services frequently as nobody seemed to want / handle me? who knows, I sure don't! The funniest thing of all of that is I ended up back with my birth parents at 15 years of age who returned to live in England at 16 I moved out, got my own place and set out on my own.

I run my own business these days, it started out as Handy Man so it never got boring. It evolved to erecting aerials on roofs for HAM International types to Digital TV aerials and such. Also I do a lot of Trench work, Concrete Bases for Sheds/Cars and paving too! I've been known to do window cleaning, gardening and changing plugs - I've a steady flow of computer repairs too.
In the past I've worked in design, the police, staff writer for a computer game magazine and editor of another! Also done a lot of charity work plus steeplejack to carpet fitter. The list goes on and on and ..
Joint-Ops:
After playing IL-2 for 3 years odd I started to look towards playing online and wasn't long before I found the right squad for me (The Fighting Irish)
Shortly after a few sessions I realized I wasn't up to they're standard and wanted to be better. Not to long after that someone put a link on the forum asking if anybody knew anything about this 'Joint-Ops Virtual Flight School' which nobody did at the time - I clicked on the link and read and before I knew it I was enrolled... I wanted to learn as much info as I could about bombers and ground pounding.
Pilot Career
Started out with the Il-2 and spent many a months with them and them alone, I then moved on to the HE-111 and after that I discovered the B25 !!!
Ideally there would be more bomber aircraft in IL-2 simply because I love big and bulky vehicles but if it wasn't for the simulation I'd never of gotten to know any aircraft. Lets say before IL-2 and Joint-Ops I only knew the Spitfire !
Joint-Ops made me fly the A6M2 'Zero' which I wasn't happy about at the time I can tell you but it forced a whole new world to open up to me, fighter aircraft. So Zero turned to Spitfire and if it wasn't for the passion of the White Lion lads I'd probably of buried it in the first week! I can fly it now, and I can fly it well and I don't think I'll ever get over the feeling of mastering a fighter aircraft.
I'm still a bomber pilot at heart, nothing more I enjoy then ground pounding but now I enjoy dogfights, simply because before I would get owned I guess and now I can hold my own.
Claims to fame
My first one was the Spitfire Grade 2 expert, I decided I'd risk it all and do the bridge loop over twice! Yes had I messed up the second loop I'd of failed but I just wanted to be the first and different!
I passed my Spitfire Grade 5 first time.
Landed an aircraft on a destroyer
Done a bridge loop over with a B25..
Flew inverted under a bridge with the B25..
Carrier landed a B25..
5 kills and 1 pilot death in a CTE
all with witnesses of course !
The Future
Well that's a good one, I don't have as much time as I did before as the new ground crew aren't very good at getting me in the air.
With some work and dedication I like to think the 'Flying Times' will take off and be a success. Would be nice if we the Joint-Ops Community could get to know each other a bit better and share some of our love and lives with those within the school... sort of a .. Who's who? that's genius!
