Scene 1: Jenna is on the phone
Jenna: I'll be there at the conference representing our company. Myself, Jenna Bradshaw and Mrs. Eleni Cooper. Um, we will also need a third pass but could you keep the name absent at the moment? We're not quite sure.(There is a loud knock at the door.)
(into the phone) Hold on just a moment. (Yells at the door) Just a minute! (Back into the phone) Yes, I'm back. It's been lovely talking to you. I do look forward to meeting you in Palm Beach (another loud knock at the door.) Yes, I do too. Thank you. Bye bye. (Another loud knock at the door as Jenna makes her way towards it) I said just a minute! (opens door) Alright!
 Buzz is revealed to be standing in her doorway.
Jenna: I was on a business call. (Without waiting to be invited in, Buzz walks in.)
Buzz: Well, uh...we still have some unfinished business of our own to take care of. (Waiting just a beat) Jenna Bradshaw...(Gets down to one knee) Uh...Jenna...  He takes out a diamond ring and looks at a confused Jenna Buzz: Jenna Bradshaw, will you marry me? 
Scene 2:
Buzz is still on one knee
Buzz: I've been thinking a lot about us. And uh, the deal was that if we loved each other and wanted to get married that we'd show up at The Towers Club on that night. Right? (Standing up to face her) Why don't you kneel? Sit! Why don't you sit? Sit.(Leads her over to the couch) Um...uh...you see uh...the point is...the point is...the point is...the point is that we both did show up there so that means we're both ready to love and commit to this thing and I...I mean it's like I threw a pass and you missed it or you threw a pass and I missed it...it doesn't mean that we lost the game! We can still go on for another touchdown...a football game???
Jenna: A football analogy?
Buzz: A football analogy? I'm sorry.
Jenna: (Smiling at him) It's you. It's you, it's who you are. (stands up and turns away from him) If we'd gone through with it that night. Oh, I think we would have had a pretty good chance. But we didn't. We missed it.
Buzz: Wha--?? (walking towards her)
Jenna: Now it's too late.
Buzz: What? We haven't changed. We're still the same people.
Jenna: I've changed. I've changed a lot. I'm never going to let myself be disappointed the way I was.
Buzz: You won't be. I promise.
Jenna: Oh, Buzz, please. (She laughs)
Buzz: What? Come on! Well, you can't...you're gonna to stand there and tell me that you're gonna to throw away everything we ever had? I mean, our dreams? Our plans? Our...because of lousy timing? One single night? For one single night? Come on, who else can make you laugh the way that I do? Who else can love you the way that I do? Who else can make you--
Jenna: Who else can make me cry as much as you do?
Buzz: Oh, please, I've shed some tears too. We've had rough parts but that's past. We can start all over again. We can. We can make our own business. We've talked about creating a business. Not like you and President Spaulding or me conning blue-haireds (laughs) out of their bingo cards, but a real business that we can create for our children. We've talked about having children, we've talked about having a life together. I mean, just think about it: generations of Jennas and little Buzz's. I mean with your accent and my willingness to propagate...they'll rule the world. But, you can't throw away our dreams like that!
Jenna: Dreams? (She walks away so not to face him) Dreams. That's what they are they're dreams. You and I together? Little Buzz's and Little Jennas? That could never happen. (she laughs)
Buzz: Yes it can. We can make happen anything we want to make happen. Jenna look at me. Oh come on. Well, if you don't want me as much as I want you well, then why can't you look at me?
Jenna: (Turning to face him) You want me to admit it? I love you. I miss you. I think of you every minute of every day.
Buzz: Well, then let's just do it! Come on!
Jenna: Only if you can come with me right now. Be with me. We leave this town. We start a new life together. We commit to one another. If you can do that then I'm all yours.
Buzz passionately kisses her
Scene 3:
Buzz has Jenna in his arms and is spinning her around while they kiss
Jenna: Would you put me down, please?
Buzz: No. (they are still kissing)
Jenna: Put me down.
Buzz: Nu-uh.
Jenna: Put me down! (He puts her down, she is laughing and she accidentally lands on his foot.)
Buzz: I'm okay.
Jenna: (Still laughing) You still haven't answered my question.
Buzz: What?
Jenna: Will you be with me right now? Right this minute? Will you be with me?
Buzz: Of course. (He proceeds to lead her out of the room to the bedroom)
Jenna: (Stopping him) I don't mean right here. I mean leave Springfield, we'll start a new life, just us. Just our own.
Buzz: Yeah. I'll be yours, you'll be mine. Just us. We'll be committed...to each other. (Jenna smiles) Um, there's just...just...I mean, not technically we can't be together. (A look of hurt sweeps over Jenna's face) No, not in a legal sense. I mean, Nadine's lightened up but she still has authority over me as far as this debt's concerned. I mean, this 25, 000 dollars...I can't leave my family with a bag like that.
Jenna: No.
Buzz What? But I...
Jenna: No. No. The answer's no. The same. I can't wait for you any longer. I can't wait at a hotel room or the bus station or another restaurant. I don't have any waiting time left in me. I think I should start my own life now and I think you should do the same. (He grabs her hand and begins to force the engagement ring on her finger) No!
Buzz: Yes!
Jenna: No, Buzz. No.
Buzz: Yes. (He puts the ring on her finger)
Scene 4:
Buzz is still holding her hand with the ring on her finger
Jenna: Buzz, take it off.
Buzz: No.
Jenna: No, please take it off. I can't keep it.
Buzz: No. No, it belongs to you.
Jenna: I can't go through this again. I don't have it in me.
Buzz: I'm not asking you to do anything.
Jenna: Yes you are.
Buzz: No.
Jenna: Yes you are, you're asking me to give much more than I have to give. If you truly cared about me then you would take this and you would go and you wouldn't come back.
Buzz: I'm not even asking you to wear it. Just keep it handy.
Jenna: No, you see...
Buzz: Trust me.
Jenna: ...See, I can't even think that way. I can't even think that that's going to happen in the future because I don't have it in me anymore, and I need more than half of you, but you're never going to give that to me because that's the way you are. You're never going to change. (She holds the ring out for him to take back)
For a moment they both stare at the ring in her hand, then he glances back at her. 
Buzz: Watch me.
And with that he leaves as Jenna holds the ring in her hand, stares at it and fights back the tears.
