On May 2006 Raquam Jackson and Vachon Luckey went to the 24 competition at Grover Washington Middle School in the North Region. They had competed against all of the 4th graders at McClure in order to earn a spot in this competition. Here you can see students from other schools in the North Region at the competition.
Here I am at a table with students who are competing. One of the students at my table went on to the competition held at the Constitution Center.
At the end of the competition Vachon and Raquam received a certificate for participating. This was their first year in the competition and I know they will be experts next year!
