Dionysis

aka "Bacchus" According to Greek In Greek traditions of literature, Apollo was to be contrasted by Dionysis who represented, the creative (varying) spirit. Thus, as well the two natures of man were seen in this way: Apollo the grounded individual adhering to the laws and customs, and Dionysis who was of a more mercurial (changing) nature, and celebrating the chaos of life.
