Lovely....
I adore this time of the year, the season of joy, peace, and prosperity. Every year at Christmastime, I enjoy...spending time with my beloved family, smelling the delicious foods that the ladies partake in baking, deciding the perfect place for each Christmas ornament on the tree, and best of all, listening to the Christmas story right before tucking the youngsters into bed.

Thanksgiving.
Well, I trust all of you Americans had a good Thanksgiving holiday. Being in England I do not celebrate Thanksgiving. When I lived in America a few years ago, I did celebrate this holiday twice and I think of it as more of an American holiday more than ever before now. The food was delicious, but I do not consider Thanksgiving one of my favorite holidays.

I have yet to discover why ladies are so easy to please, until you ask them one simple question, then they disappear like leaves in the winter. I have recently lost my lady to an unknown gentleman in another town. She seems to be happier now, only I still do not recognize the cause of her departure from me. I would be most grateful if someone would graciously tell me why my lady left me. I do not think I could ever care for another, for there is none as beautiful and intelligent as she.
