Mattloaf was instrumental to your success in the Battle of Phoenix. Not only did he personally deal with most of the deputies in an impressive show of force, but he took a bullet that was meant for you and subdued Agent Foley in one swift, decisive motion. There's strong reason to say you owe him your life.
The reason you were in Phoenix, of course, was to bust Kyle and Cassie out of the detention facility concealed beneath the library. Not only is Kyle your oldest and best friend, but he withstood a gauntlet of torture to avoid giving up your whereabouts to Agent Foley. His left hand is all but useless these days, and Cassie hasn't spoken since then. It may not be as direct as taking a bullet for you, but you owe Kyle a lot.
Then there's Kadmon. The RF interference device he cobbled together was essential to your success at the Battle of Phoenix. Prior to that, he made great efforts to open the border with Mexico. Finally, his technical wizardry has proven useful on multiple occasions. Still, you don't entirely get the impression that you can trust him.
Finally, you have Sierra Nevada. She mentioned earlier wanting to talk to you about some of the financials, and to be quite honest you'd like to talk to her about more than that. Since you've been on the road you're sure you've noticed some tension between the two of you, and it would be good to get to the bottom of that.
