Girl Scouting is an excellent oppertunity for any girl, from pre-kindergarden all the way up to a senior in high school. It gives girls a place to find self-confidence, friends, and a sense of purpose within the community. Girl Scouting was an excelent oppertunity for me when I first began twelve years ago. It allowed me to create friendships that otherwise would not exist and it created a desire within me to serve. The principles that i learned when I was little have continued with me and have helped me in my ambitions as a high school junior. I have found it easier to get involoved in service orginizations and to take charge.
