Figure 5.12. This circuit has two BJT's which are wired almost identically. The emitters of Q1 and Q2 go to ground. The bases of both transistors go through their own 100 k ohm resistors to plus 12 volts. The resistor to Q1 is R2 and the one to Q2 is R3. Each collector goes through its own 2.2 k ohm resistor to plus 12 volts. The resistor to Q1 is R1 and the one to Q2 is R4. The collector of Q1 goes through C1, 0.1 u f capacitor to the base of Q2. The collector of Q2 goes through C2, 0.1 u f cap to the base of Q1. The collector of Q1 goes to a terminal labeled output. The collector of Q2 goes to a different terminal which is also labeled output. Each output terminal has a matching terminal which is grounded. End verbal description.
