Figure 5.3. This is a graph. The vertical axis is labeled gain and runs from 10 to the minus 5 to 10 to the 6. The marks are equally spaced and are as follows. 10 to the minus 5, 10 to the minus 4, 10 to the minus 3, 10 to the minus 2, 10 to the minus 1, 1, 10, 10 to the 2, 10 to the 3, 10 to the 4, 10 to the 5, and 10 to the 6. The horizontal axis is labeled frequency and runs along the gain = 1 value. Frequency = 1 is on the vertical line so the two lines cross at the point gain = 1 and frequency = 1. The frequency marks are equally spaced and are, from left to right, 1, 10, 10 to the 2, 10 to the 3, 10 to the 4, 10 to the 5, 10 to the 6, 10 to the 7, and 10 to the 8. This makes this a log log graph. There are three lines on the graph, a black one, a green one, and a red one. They are made up of straight line segments, there are no gradual curves. The black line begins at the left edge of the graph at gain = 10 to the 5. This line goes horizontally to the right at the 10 to the 5 level until it reaches a frequency of 10 to the 5. At this point it turns downwards on a slope of minus 1 going to the point gain = 10 to the 4, frequency = 10 to the 6. It turns again to a slope of minus 2 going to the point gain = 10 to the 2 and frequency = 10 to the 7. At this point it turns again to a slope of minus 3 and goes to the point gain = 10 to the minus 1 and frequency = 10 to the 8. The green line starts at the left edge of the graph at a gain of 10 to the 5. It goes horizontally to the right to the point gain = 10 to the 5 and frequency = 10. At this point it turns downwards to a slope of minus 1 and goes to the point gain = 1 and frequency = 10 to the 6. At this point it turns to a slope of minus 2 to the point gain = 10 to the minus 2 and frequency = 10 to the 7. At this point it turns to a slope of minus 3 to the point gain = 10 to the minus 5 and frequency of 10 to the 8, where it ends. The red line starts on the left edge of the graph at gain = 1. It goes to the right to the point gain = 1 and frequency = 10. At this point it turns downward to a slope of minus 1 to the point gain = 10 to the minus 4 and frequency = 10 to the 5. At this point it levels out again and leaves the right edge of the graph at gain = 10 to the minus 4. End verbal description.
