Figure 2.17. There are three parts to this figure labeled eh, b and c. Part eh is a square wave which is slightly rounded off at the leading corners. The wave begins at the bottom instead of in the middle and when it ends it drops to the minimum, goes along horizontally as square waves will do and then ends. Part b starts at the bottom and goes up curving, curving to the right. There is more curvature as the wave gets higher. There is no flat top. At the top it turns abruptly and heads downwards and curving a little to the right as it gets closer to the bottom. It repeats until ending at the bottom. In part c the wave has a much smaller amplitude than the first two. It is a triangular wave. It starts at the bottom, goes up to the right making a straight line, then turns down to the right making another straight line. It repeats this until ending at the bottom. End verbal description.
