WARRANT/DRUG ARREST

On 9-1-05, at approximately 5:00pm, Petersburg Police arrested 39 year old Thomas W. Watts at Petersburg airport. Watts, a Petersburg resident, had an active warrant for his arrest for Violating Conditions of Release in an unrelated case. Investigation found Watts to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and approximately 20 pills that included Methadone, Valium, and Roxicet. In addition to the Violation of Conditions of Release, Watts was charged with Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances in the Fourth Degree (a felony), Fifth Degree (an A Misdemeanor), and Sixth Degree (a B Misdemeanor). Watts is curently in custody following his arraignment and felony first appearance on 9-2-05, where bail was set at $3,500.
